Hello my name is......Matthew West

I’m sure you’ve heard it said that you are not here by chance. If you haven’t, I guess you haven’t been seeking who God says you are, and why you are here. He compares you to no one else. You are one of a kind. He allows us to be here to fulfill His special purpose for this generation.

1 John 3: 1 “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God.”

If this is the truth from the creator of the world, whose hand has formed you and made you the person you are, don’t believe the voices inside your head. (Defeated, regret, liar, stupid, ugly, fat, a mistake, forgotten) All lies!!!  The past can’t define who you are. God makes all things new!

Are you believing the lies of the voices inside your head, or what someone else is labeling you? Only you, and BELIEVING the truth of who Jesus is in you can change that. We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength, physically, and mentally, it’s up to you! You can continue to believe these lies, and they will drag you so far down until you have lost all belief of who “He” says you are, and what He can help you do. I don’t think any of us are strangers to regret of things in the past. But once you’ve met Jesus Christ personally, we receive His identity. One of the most important things we can do is embrace our NEW identity, and see ourselves through the eyes of Jesus. I am chosen before the creation of the world (Ephesians 1:4, 11) I am holy and blameless (Ephesians 1:4) I am adopted as his child (Ephesians 1:5) I am forgiven (Ephesians 1:8; Colossians 1:14) I have purpose (Ephesians 1:9 & 3:11) I am delivered (Colossians 1:13) I am victorious (1 Corinthians 15:57) I am no longer condemned (Romans 8:1, 2) I am not helpless (Philippians 4:13)  I am protected (John 10:28) I am born again (I Peter 1:23) I am a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17)

….These are just a few truths of who you really are.

To embrace the word of God, and the truth of who you are in Him, will change your life forever!!!!

I know that I have been changed…I have been set free…Only because I have accepted Jesus Christ into my heart as my only hope to be forgiven of my sins past, present, and future.
I AM A CHILD OF THE ONE TRUE KING!!!!

The Hammer Holds.....Bebo Norman

GREAT LYRICS in this song!!!!

“A shapeless piece of steel, that’s all I claim to be. This hammer pounds to give me form, this flame it melts my dreams”…

The hard heart, a heart of stone, refuses to be hammered into form. But the heart of flesh, a new heart, is willing to be molded by the Makers hand. No matter how impure our life may be, how unclear things seem, God always offers His view, new beginnings, and His amazing, never ending, unconditional love.

We have a Maker, and we are His handiwork, Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Our heavenly Father wants the best for us, just like our earthly parents. I am so thankful for the parents God gave me. I always prayed to be like my mom in many areas I love about her character. I’ve also prayed to be like my dad in many ways, especially his physical strength. God gave me a little of the both of them in my makeup.

When I was little, I really didn’t understand  being disciplined for things I did wrong,  and I definitely didn’t like it. But as I got older, and gained more understanding, I appreciated what I was becoming. All that my parents knew I could be. I had no doubt how much my parents loved me, and wanted the best for me and to keep me from harm.  I always hoped my life would make my parents proud. Proud to say that I am their daughter.

The process of growing up from a child to an adult, and all the bumps in the road of becoming who we are, is the same process of growing in our relationship with Jesus. As the hammer pounds again, it’s to look more like Him,  to have more of His characteristics. We will get disciplined along the way, and we won’t like it. But as we grow closer to Him,  you realize it’s all because of how much He loves us. You will want to live your life to put a smile on His face. To know within your Spirit, the situations that arise in your life and how you are handling them, are making Him a proud Father.

If we will just remain through this process that can be painful, our final shape, and final form, we are bound to find. The first step is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Then allow The Maker to create in you a new heart. Ezekiel 36: 26 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

When we realize that our dreams are not the issue here. That it is all about taking the life of this guiltless Man. Than the things that were once so unclear, our life and tasks that God has set before us, will become more clear.

So if the question still remains,… “what am I to be?”….  know that He’s pounding and shaping you into a “perfect piece of art for all to see.”

My God .....Jeremy Camp

Have you ever wondered why things of this world look so dark and are getting darker and uglier?

I don’t see anything dark or ugly in Jesus Christ, do you?. So step into the light, “as He is in the light.”

Here is a few lyrics of this song to give just a glimpse of the beautiful image of “MY God”:  (Our God)
“You are unchanging love, Your heart sends hope from above. The Great Creator, Beautiful Savior, I’ve been redeemed. There is life now from Your victory, You are my God”

The very beginning verse of the bible starts with “In the beginning God created”…. This is the first verse that begins the story of creation. It is a living book of what was, what is, and what is to come.
This is my life story too: God created me. I was “formless and empty” and the “Spirit of God” brought Light into my life. “God saw that it was good, and He separated the light from the darkness” in me.

Because of Adam and Eves disobedience, I was born into sin. What is now, is I am free from sin, only because of the death of Jesus Christ my Savior. When this life is over, what is to come is I will be with Jesus in paradise because I have accepted this truth and nothing else.

The bible tells us that “men are without excuse,” Romans 1: 18-20. So if what is known about God, and it has been made plain to us by God, why do so many still walk in darkness? Without Jesus Christ, the world would NOT continue to exist. If it did, it would be a sort of hell. It only continues to exist for Jesus Christ, and to bring many more to a knowledge of their sin and need of redemption only through a Savior.

All of Who Jesus is, reaches the darkest parts of us. “Lifting the weight and erasing the scars” that have a hold on us. We will never be a perfect piece of art this side of heaven, but we are to seek after it. We are given a choice to set the Lord always before us and strive, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to be conformed to His image. So for now, my prayer is that Jesus will guide me to “walk in the light, as He is in the light” 1 John 1: 7.

Jesus Paid it All...Kristian Stanfill

Very moving….Just love seeing people worship! It brings tears to my eyes every time….

“ I hear the Savior say, thy strength indeed is small. Child of weakness, watch and pray, find in Me thine all in all.”

We grow strong and healthy and stay in good shape, by what we choose to feed on. I pray you find your all in all in Jesus.

It is a fact that we grow by what we feed on. We live in such a fast past world, and have very busy lives. We can choose the fast food junk to eat, or be proactive and prepare meals we are going to nourish our bodies with, not just fill it. So many of us eat to get full instead of looking at food for nourishment. What happens then? We start to gain unwanted weight and then we are looking for ways to take it off quickly. There are always consequences to bad choices, and it takes time to get where we would like to be. We didn’t put it on in a day, so give yourself time.

Being physically fit and spiritually fit, is all about our obedience in how we spend our time, and choices on what we are eating. A great way to grow strong, is falling to our knees.

Some people say that they believe and that they are Christians, but they live and eat on the junk food of their own belief of what it is to really be a follower of Christ. They spend little or no time at all in the most healthiest meal, THE BIBLE. They make every excuse of why they don’t attend church. These are just a few reasons why a person would look fat on the world, instead of in shape with Jesus. So if we grow by what we feed on, what is your spiritual shape? You see, the only thing that makes you stay in healthy spiritual shape is the “bread of God” John 6: 30-35. “For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world…..I am the bread of life”   Jesus paid it all, so all to Him we owe. How is it that I would try anything else for comfort food when He is so full, so rich, so satisfying.

The closer we are to the Lord Jesus, the more we will have an appetite for spiritual things. So go ahead and fill up on Him. I think an overload of Jesus looks a lot better on the “body” than filling up on junk food every day. Go ahead and overeat, maybe you’ll overflow. (Selah)

Dear Mr president, "One Thing Remains"and NEVER shuts down.Kristain Stanfill

“He’s stronger than the power of the grave, and constant in the trials and the change”…. He never fails!!!! JESUS!!!!

Thank God I have the freedom of speech. So here I go….
“Mr. president, there is “One” who has been elected by the Father, Jesus Christ, and His term will NEVER end! Unfortunately, yours won’t end soon enough!

Are you pursuing the will of God for the people, and our country? A persons perception is their reality, and to me it doesn’t look like it. It looks more divided to me. And you know that saying, “united we stand, divided we fall.” It sure looks like this country is still falling. It also seems to me you have a very prideful attitude. I mean to even put your name on something that not everybody wants, even your own congress doesn’t want “Obama Care” I mean do you really care? It seems to me it’s all your way, or no way. Wow, that speaks very loud to me. In case you didn’t know, the bible says “pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall” Proverbs 16: 18.
Compromise is a key word in this whole shut down, but you don’t even seem to want to do that. Again, it’s all your way, or no way, that’s pride! A president is suppose to be for the people, and by the people. You seem so one sided and it is everyone else’s fault but your own.  The good of the people is not to shut down and stop some peoples income. Your suppose to operate for the good of ALL people, both sides!! Why don’t you stop your own income, or your staff, or congress.

You may have control on some things like this shut down, but GOD NEVER SHUTS DOWN! He would never operate things like this. A Christian is suppose to have the character of Christ. With all due respect, you don’t look much like Jesus to me. I still pray for you, and have hope that you may have a change of heart about the way things are going.”
