Turn your eyes upon Jesus.....Nicole Nordeman

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBfHUrLGzNY

Psalm 55: 22, "Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken."

1 Peter 5: 7-8, "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour".…

Watch what Jesus does when you turn your eyes upon Him, and look full in His wonderful face.

This song is about morning after a long night, so look up....This song is about believing, it's gonna be alright....

This was a song that a dear friend felt led to sing over my husband in the hospital. She was getting ready to leave and turned back around. She leaned over my husband and sang the chorus of this song. I will NEVER forget it. I thank God for her obedience to follow her heart. No one but God knew, that this was going to be his last day.
There was nothing more that they could do for him with his battle with lung cancer, but everything God could do. I never saw fear in my husband at all, just acceptance. I remember him holding my hand and saying. "I just want the inevitable to happen." Even in death all fear was gone.

Even in life, all fear could be gone. Leave all your broken yesterdays, your heavy load, broken dreams, in the open arms of grace.

I know I have to face reality. We live in a fallen, broken, sin stained world. But when I read God's word, meditate on the truth of all that He says, I can rest in Him. Everything truly does grow dim, when you look up in the light of His glory and grace. We are all on borrowed time here. Just passing through. What kind of impact are you making for the Kingdom of God? Are you leading others to the hope you have?

Like the lyrics of this song says. If you've experienced Him in the raging sees of life, and you are walking on water again, what are you waiting for.... SHARE YOUR STORY!!!!

Here in Your Presence.... New Life Worship

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2bLUYz-Zvo

When I listen to this song, I can only imagine what heaven must be like....
 Revelations 4: 8-11,
“‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,
who was, and is, and is to come.”.... “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

My niece sent me and my girls a text the other day that just inspired me so much, and this song and writing happened right after... Here is how her text reads: "Hi my beautiful family, hope you are doing well. I wanted to tell you Uncle Mike visited me in my dreams last night. I was at the dinner table and out of no where I could feel something. I looked over and Uncle Mike was right there. We communicated through this big smile, then he disappeared. He looked so happy and refreshed, and at peace. Sharing with you all because after seeing that, I have no doubt heaven is frinken glorious!!"

It's amazing God's timing. I was having a couple of gloomy days, even though I am going on a cruise soon. And I think when My niece wrote us this text, she was either home from her vacation in Columbia, or still there. Either way, we both agree that this place we live in beautiful. Vacations we go on are beautiful. But all is oh so temporary. She continued to say: "We are all fatal. Each day we get closer to death. But it is only through death we really get to know life and become truly alive." What a young inspiration she is.

Maybe your like me, and you sometimes get overwhelmed with a longing just to see, hear, touch, smell, or even dream, of your loved ones who have gone to their eternal home. I like more to look at it like they are on the forever vacation of their lives, and one day we will join them. For now, we have to complete our purpose here for God, and LIVE THIS GIFT OF LIFE!!!

Close......Lauren Daigle

Can you find anything that compares to all Jesus is? Jesus doesn’t fade away, He only wants to be closer to us.

Matthew 13: 22, I don’t ever want the things of this world to choke out the life of God in me…..

Matthew 6: 19-20, Things of earth are destroyed by moths and rust in time. But time with Jesus, if you seek Him in His fullness, He offers nothing but love. He opens your eyes to see He is all you ever needed. You can’t take your earthly possessions with you when you die. But you can count on Jesus being right there with you when you take your last breath.

What do you choose to be closest to here on earth? What are we, His children, showing Him our first love is? Whatever you choose, if it is not Him first, you will not feel His fullness, His power in any of your weakness. God is as close to you, as you choose to be to Him. His promise is He will never leave us. We leave Him, and then we feel the effects of His absence by our own choice. Psalm 46… He is the Fortress for the weak, the strength that carries us.

Jeremiah 2: 2, “I remember the kindness and devotion of your youth”…. Do you remember when you were head over heels in love with Jesus? I mean on fire. We all need to ask ourselves, are we who we use to be to Jesus, or do we complain and take the many blessings for granted?

Jesus has a simple need we can meet, and that is to love Him with all our heart, soul, and mind. If God is not what He used to be to us, it should fill us with shame and sorrow. But the greatest thing that comes from that is, 2 Corinthians 7: 10, “godly sorrow leads to repentance.”

“God I want to be “close” to You. There is nothing in this world that compares to all You are. In the arms of the Father, there is love like no other.”

Pieces.... Amanda Cook (Bethel)

Every women, and every man should be loved like this. There is only “One” I know who doesn’t love in “Pieces.”

While I was still a sinner, He was still proud to be seen with me. He never gave up on me. Because of His great love for me, I couldn’t give my heart to Him in pieces either.
I gave my whole heart to Him. Who wouldn’t just be madly in love with a love like this? A love that isn’t anxious, it’s never disengaged, it’s always present.
A love that keeps its promises, it keeps its word. It honors what’s sacred, because its vows are good. His love is pure. His love is loyal.

When we become one with each other, we are constantly learning to love unconditionally. But more important, if we don't become one with God, than love is easily broken, Ecclesiastes 4:12. Most people base love on feelings. Love is a commitment. If both are willing to seek and follow God in every condition that arises in relationships, you can't go wrong. We have to be willing to change in any area that is not of God. It's never to late to humble ourselves, and to ask God to lead us.

Ephesians 5: 22-33
Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands as you do to the Lord....
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.  For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body. “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
