Help from Heaven.....Matt Redman and Natasha Bedingfield

There are seasons in life where we will all need "Help from heaven." We also need to believe Ephesians 2: 6, "And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus," Our help is always right there.

The seasons that we go through in life all have a purpose, and we carry the answers for this generation. Esther 4: 14, For such a time as this, we were put here to carry Jesus to the world.

Psalm 139: 23-24, Our hearts condition is so important before we go out and do anything for the glory of God. The only way to get that right, is to desire constant intimacy with Him. Then we begin to think and see spiritually clear. If we think we can do any battle apart from God, get ready to be defeated. The enemy wages war, but victory is in Jesus. I live my life based on this SOLID truth, Ephesians 6: 12, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." We have the ability to rise or crumble. When I think Who I am seated with, I know I will rise above my circumstances.

One thing my children will always remember in their lives, is I never gave up on my marriage or anything I felt God had me a part of with Him. I will fight to follow the triumph of the cross. There is a reason for every tear that we cry, and they will not be wasted. There is a future for all the broken pieces. Many voices spoke to me, telling me I had every reason to divorce. But I listened to that One still small voice inside me. Always looking to Jesus to lead me, and He did it victoriously.

We all have a choice just like Jesus had, when He pleaded with His Father to take the cup of suffering from Him. But His precious words to His Father was, "not my will, but Yours" Luke 22: 42. Jesus knew we would all face seasons in our life where we would utter those same words. He showed us how to follow Him to victory.

It's not enough just to believe and receive Jesus. We have to allow Him to transform our hearts, and our way of humanly thinking. When He does, there is NOTHING you won't be a part of with Him.
Psalm 138:7-8, So embrace the season God has you in, and NEVER forget that He is with you. He's walking you through it. Isaiah 55:11, His word will never return void. Jeremiah 29: 11, What He had planned for you to be a part of, you will succeed!

Love is War.... Hillsong

Revelations 12: 3-9, God already had a plan for us when He kicked Satan out of heaven to earth, along with all his angels "who lead the world astray".....

Genesis 1: 1, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." So He already existed with a plan for mankind's fall. He also made us in their image. As you can see, God wasn't alone. He gave us all we would need to be fruitful and multiply. To fill the earth and subdue it. He attended for us to rule, Genesis 1: 26-30.

God, the Creator of all things, loved us enough to make mankind's fall His own. We had all we needed, but just like today, we want more. Or we think we can do this thing called life on our own. Instead of wanting more of God, we want more from this world that is being led astray. The same crafty enemy in chapter 3 of Genesis, is still succeeding today in all his deceiving lies. But in God's justice and mercy, Jesus came down to earth to walk this broken road with us.

Because of what I believe of creation, and of the love God has for us, I will fight to follow Him. I will fight for the triumph of the cross. If you think love isn't a war, you are greatly mistaken. Ephesians 6:12, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

There is a heavenly realm where good and evil are at war. But, "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus." Ephesians 2: 6.
1 Corinthians 6: 16, Because I am one with Jesus, my battles are already won! Yes, it's a fight that we have been in since the beginning of earths creation. It's just a choice of who you choose to follow. The world to me looks like it is loosing. It's getting uglier, and uglier. It will continue in that way until Jesus comes back again. Just goes to show you how loving and patient He is. Not willing to loose anyone, 2 Peter 3: 8-13. Read the end of the book. You will see who wins.

I absolutely in no way claim to know everything. But I continuously seek to know more of God. The more I turn my eyes to see His face, the more I fall in love with Him. I know His love has won my heart and He embraces me like no other. All my fears and sorrows are held within His heart.
I know that Jesus won it all. He came and died, but the grave was borrowed. He rose again so I could also stand with a life to follow. Praise You Jesus. I will fight to follow, because "Love is war."

Nothing is Wasted....Elevation Worship

Nothing, absolutely nothing is wasted, or without forgiveness..... Not any suffering, divorce, death, loneliness, weakness, abortion, abandonment, not anything. God uses everything for His glory. Don't blame God for things that you don't understand. Mark 4: 34, Get alone with Him and He will begin to explain everything to you in His Word.
Hebrews 12: 1-3... We are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses who have gone on before us. When we face hardship or discouragement, it's easy to lose sight of the big picture. But we are not alone. Many have already made it through this life, and have gone through far much more than I pray to ever experience. Hard times, even suffering is a training ground for followers of Christ. It matures us, and develops us to look more like Jesus. There is sweet victory in the end.

A very comforting verse for me is, 2 Corinthians 4:17-18, "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.".... Just like a runner focuses on the finish line and ignores the discomfort of pressing forward, we too are to focus on what we have eternally...at the finish of our life. 1 Peter 5: 8-10, "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast."

One of my favorite scripture in all the bible, is where Jesus prays for us in John 17:15-25. I like to put my name in where Jesus is praying to His Father. Try it.... "My payer is not that You take____ out of the world, but that You protect ____ from the evil one." I just love that!! Read the rest and do that.

You see, we are not going to never have any difficulties or suffering this side of heaven. Some of us may have heavier crosses than others. But we are to wear our cross while we wait for the crown and tell the world of the full treasure we found in Jesus!!
My prayer for all of us, is that we stay... 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." Remember..."Nothing is wasted"

Resurrected King.....Elevation Worship

The lyrics of this song sets my soul on fire!!

"Your Name, Your Name, is VICTORY! By Your Spirit I will rise from the ashes of defeat. The resurrected King is resurrecting me!"

Two scriptures have been on my heart for a while now. I mean, everything about God's word excites me, but these two have been taking me to another level. Ezekiel 37: 4-6, "Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!."... Isaiah 43: 19, "See, I am doing a new thing!"
I don't ever want to stop being excited from the word of God. I am tired of the enemy and his pursuit after people. The sad thing is, God's children are falling for his lies as well. Look at this nation. It's falling, and falling fast.

"Dry bones", if we don't wake up and stand for what is right in God's eyes, we will keep sinking as a nation. If you lost your fire for your First Love, get back in the scriptures and fall in love again! Live out loud and unashamed! Everyone else voices their opinion. God says in His word in Revelations 2: 4, "Yet I hold this against you: you have forsaken the love you had at first." I love and care about all people enough to tell them the truth of God's word. It then becomes their choice to believe it.

If you lost your power, good. It's not yours anyway. Acts 1: 8, Jesus is telling His disciples that they will receive power, His power, to speak about Him and all they have experienced. The Holy Spirit is the source of our power to be bold in our faith. Revelations 12: 11, we not only overcome the enemy by the blood of Jesus, but also by the words of our testimony.... Your story, your testimony, no one can say you are wrong. It was your encounters. Speak about them! Luke 9: 26, Be ashamed of Him, and He will be ashamed of us when He comes in glory.

You Know Me.... Steffany Gritzinger

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVVlMQved8k

I think the most comforting thing in all this world God, is to know "You know me." You know when I rise and when I fall. When I come and go, You see it all. Even when I get mad and question You. Nothing is hidden from Your sight. Every detail of my life. I can place my trust in You, that whatever is allowed to come, go, or stay in my life, it has a purpose.

I love the fact that God hems me in and lays His hand upon me. So why do I sometimes have such a small view of Who God is? He knows everything about me and still loves me. Sometimes I don't even like myself. Where my thoughts may take me. How far I let my anger go. How long I may stay mad at God. How long it may take me to forgive someone. How much bitterness do I hold. Do I point fingers often? Can you relate to any of these?

I am so thankful for Jesus. And because I put my faith and trust in Him, His Spirit lives in me.

Psalm: 1-6 "You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down;you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before and you lay your hand me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain."

I lift up my eyes to the mountains where does my help come from?  My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.  He will not let your foot slip he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.  The Lord watches over you the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.  The Lord will keep you from all harm he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.  Psalm 121:1-8

Dear God, Thank you for loving me. You love me so much that You refuse to let me stay in any character that is not of You. Help me to be sensitive to Your Spirit so I will never willfully do anything that breaks Your heart. When I do fail You, I pray it breaks my heart quickly so I can stay on the path you have for my life. I don't want anything to break the fellowship I have with You.
