Broken Ladders..... Selah

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kvzgoH-l90

Luke 10: 25-26, Jesus says, "What is written in the law?".... How do you read it?

Look at the order, and think about it. God puts everything in perfect order. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself."

He never asked us for anything else but our hearts first! I have read this scripture several times. I've known the order for a long time. But until you really realize that unless you give God your whole surrendered heart, nothing will fall into place as it should. You will always keep trying, and doing things to try and please God. All He wants is our hearts. That simple.

Once He has your heart, He makes Himself known way down in the depths of your soul, and it keeps growing in your love relationship with Him. Our daily struggles are met by His strength that continues to surface itself in and through you. Any attacks in our thoughts (mind), are met by Him and cast out as He takes every thought captive, 2 Corinthians 10:5.

Every step we try to climb on our own will break. So take the first solid step of faith. A completely surrendered heart and then keep climbing. We were never created to walk alone. Don't take your eyes off the truth. It's simple, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart"....We learn the rest along the walk of life experiences: To love with all our soul, strength, and mind. Then finally, loving our neighbor as ourselves. When you grow to realize how much we are loved, and what it cost to be forgiven, loving those that are even hard to love is easier. Jesus does it through us.

Then the climb of life is so exciting. The love relationship is amazing! NOTHING compares to it!

Give me Faith....Elevation Worship

What parent gives a child everything they want? I never did. Either does our heavenly Father because there are lessons in the waiting.

Meditating on this scripture and I'm praying, "God forgive me for my double mindedness at times. Give me faith to trust what You say. I know Your intentions are to shape my life."... My mom and dad had the same intentions for my life. But just like a child's thinking then, I can be the same way now in my trying to understand God. Sometimes you just have to wait. My flesh may fail, but my God He never will.

Look at what God's word says, James 1: 6-7. "But when you ask you MUST BELIEVE and not doubt..... That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double minded and unstable in all they do."

I don't know about you, but I love talking to God, and yes, putting my request in. He loves to hear from us because He is our good Father and wants that love relationship with us. But just like me as a parent, I never liked when my kids doubted me. I still don't like it. He doesn't like when we want things right away, or if it is a selfish request. I'm sure you don't either if you are a parent.

One of the reasons why God doesn't answer right away is because He is building our faith. Helping us to stop being double minded in our request to Him. He will only answer according to His will and we need to trust that. I may not like the things that happen, or I am currently in. But I know with out a doubt He is building my faith and trust, and I love what that is doing in me.

As adults, we all have choices, free will. We can give into the flesh and have what we want now. Or wait in the strength of the Spirit and receive the best for His purpose of our life here.

We are the world.... Many artist (Michael Jackson)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9BNoNFKCBI

Listening to this song made me think. Does everyone in this crazy world really realize what a difference our choices make.
As a follower of Christ, and someone who says I love Him, sometimes I can hear Him say like He said to Peter....
"Do you love me" John 21:16. Jesus even repeated the question 3 times. Then followed it with, "Feed my sheep."

What is the church getting out of you? ...Have you ever found yourself saying: I don't get anything out of church, or, I don't have to go to church to worship God, I don't like the pastor, I don't like the music, the people are hypocrites, and so many other statements. How sad that it has come to this. The church meant everything to Jesus. Not the building,g but the people who enter the building. We are the church. Hebrews 10: 25, The fellowship of one another. The people of the body being there for you when you need them. We need to just get over ourselves. Stop just going to get, and go to give God proper worship and thanks.

Jesus died to give us this life we have. Are you one who just takes it all in? Living for yourself? One day your world that you are building can just be pulled right out from under you. What are you doing for the Kingdom? Our eternal home? This world is fleeting by, and we all have loved ones and friends who are unsaved. Yes, It is your business if you say you love Jesus. "Feed His sheep."This is what the disciples lived for. To be all Jesus asked. What happened through the years? The church is dying.

Matthew 28: 19, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations"....What are we, His children waiting for? He said it over 2000 years ago, and that command has not changed. We have! Maybe it's just within our own family and friends that God is trying to use you. But Satan gets you with that lie that it's not your business.
Think of the ones who are called out to other countries and obey that call. Some of us can't even obey in the comfort of where He has us. For the love of our Jesus, obey His call in your life. Lead your family. Not out of habit, or I should do this, but because you say, "I love you Jesus." Be the church in that way if that is all He is asking.

The joy that Jesus had, came from doing what His Father sent Him to do, John 20:21. He say to us, "As the Father has sent me, I also send you." Question is, will you just keep taking, or will you go and share the good news of the gospel? Will Jesus have to keep asking you, "Do you love me?"

He asks for absolute loyalty in this. It's a choice you have to make. Don't blame God if your family, friends, schools, this world, keeps falling apart. His word has a lot to say about a lukewarm follower. Revelations 3: 15-16.
