See You again..... Anthony Evans

Wow!!! I hope you take the time to listen to the lyrics of this song....

We all need to be revived in one way or another. This month of June, my birthday month, I felt so blessed in so many ways. I was off of work for close to 4 weeks. Starting it off with a cruise.  Coming back home and seeing much of my family, grandchildren, and friends. Going to see one of my favorite preachers, ON MY BIRTHDAY, Tony Evans and his son Anthony leading worship. My kids and family celebrating my birthday for almost 3 weekends with stuff to do. I feel so revived, and I am ready to go back to work. It truly is a great mission field.

There is also another revival we need: Spiritual revival! Read Ephesians 4: 17-30..... This is very powerful instructions to those of us who say we are believers of Jesus our Savior. Yet we can have ways of grieving the Holy Spirit of God within us by the lifestyle we choose to live: verse 30. Some of us have created a buffet God. We pick and choose what taste good to us. What we don't want we just leave it. Ignoring the very things that break His heart, and making excuses for our sins we stay in knowing it's wrong. That makes a big difference. We may be able to ignore our parents voice, or preachers voice, but you can't ignore God. Look at Romans 6: 1-2 and what do you think? Especially verse 2! We can't pick and choose what we want of God. I mean we can, but there will be consequences to follow.

Jesus died for our sins. Not in part, but all of it. From the time we were born, till the time we die. We are all sinners till the day we die. We will never be perfect this side of heaven. That is why we need His precious grace. All of it! Don't block the flow. If I allow sin to rule in me, God's life in me is slowly being killed. There is no really clearer way to put it. Knowingly making excuses for what we know breaks the heart of God, grieves His Spirit within us. Blocking the flow of grace, and killing His life in me.

Do you feel like you are in more darkness than light? Do you feel less joy and peace? Do you feel hopeless and depressed? Do you want to feel the fullness of His presence again? Talk to Jesus. Ask Him to reveal where you are being double minded and blind. Then repent.

James 4: 8, "Come near to God and He will come near to you. Wash your hands you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double minded," That's pretty clear instructions for us all. This was written to Christians. Our thinking can darken our understanding and slowly separate us from the life of God, Ephesians 4: 18.

I pray this helps open the eyes of your heart.
