Great Things .... Elevation Worship

The older I get, the more I look at things with an eternal point of view. If I didn't, I would be at wits end daily! There's a lot of good in life, but there's also a lot of bad and ugly. Knowing that it's not going to be my forever here, helps me to live every gifted day with Kingdom purpose. Yes, even the bad and ugly.

I love Romans 8. Looking at verse 5, If I lived according to the flesh, I would probably hate a lot of people, and do things in life that I would probably regret. But when you seek to live by the Spirit, you see things your going through, and people, through another set of eyes. Having the Living Spirit of God in you is the only way that you can have this unexplainable peace in the midst of troubles and painful situations.

When reading Romans 8: 28, I use to look at it as if God would, and should, work all things I was going through for the good. I thought with my way of seeing and thinking about the things. I always thought with a big WHY? I remember even saying to God, "but Your word says You would work everything I'm going through for the good, and it sure doesn't look or feel like it God!"
But when you are really hard after understanding, and seeking God in it, He begins to open the eyes of your heart. Verse 28 again, "and we know that IN all things"..... Not out, or from something you wish to end, but it's IN it that He is doing His good work.

Once the questioning of "what the heck is going on God" subsides, and you continue loving Him through it, He speaks loud and clear. Looking at verse 17, 28 and 29 again..... We share in the sufferings of Christ as His children. We are called according to His purpose, and being CONFORMED to the image of His Son. We may not like it, and we don't have to. But one thing that is amazing to me is, I still love Him with all my heart. Verse 39, Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Jesus Christ Who lives in me. Everything is worth it just to know Him more.

Some run from God and stop believing when the things they don't understand doesn't make sense. But did you ever really believe? Do you even try to still seek Him? Life is not, and never will be easy, even with Jesus as my Lord. But one thing I know for sure, He is with me in everything. When I don't understand, I draw even closer to Him. I pray you do the same.

You Say.... Lauren Daigle

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIaT8Jl2zpI

What makes you feel complete? What defines who you are? Is it the cloths you wear, the car you drive, the house you live in, the job you have, the person you are with?

From the very beginning of creation in Genesis 3, Satan's never ending attempt to deceive us started with Adam and Eve. It hasn't stopped since then. Genesis 1:27, tells me I was created in His image. The image that I have of Jesus is everything I want to be. Nothing can define me, only He can.

Knowing who I am in Christ helps me to fight those voices in my head, or anything that anyone else says about me. Everything He says about me defines me. Just because I'm a Christian, doesn't mean I don't have my weak moments. But the deeper my love relationship continues, those voices become very faint.

I love what James 4: 7-8 says because it's so true. Submit yourselves to God first and watch what happens. The enemy will flee. There's no room for him to squeeze his lies in when you know God's word about you. Whether you believe that or not, it will begin to make all the difference .

It's up to making a personal choice with this love relationship with Jesus. Put the new nature of God in our hearts, spend time with Him and watch and feel it expand in your soul. That's what working out your own salvation means, Philippians 2: 12. We live in a sin soaked world, and the enemy never quits. 1 John 4:4, But greater is He who is in me!

Colossians 3: 10, "and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image  of the One who created Him"... There are several other verses to drown out anything less than what God says you are..... One of my favorites is Psalm 139... 1 Corinthians 3:16, 2 Corinthians 4: 16, John 3: 6, John 3:3.... These are just a few I like to keep as my weapons against the lies.

I believe what my Creator says about me, and He is still finishing His work in me. If I was worth dying for as a sinner, I know I am loved!!!

Much love, and pray for you to be encouraged

If I had Wings....Darius Rucker

I never heard this song before. I just happened to walk into a meeting room and it was playing before their meeting started. I just stopped in my tracks and listened to every word. How beautiful.

One of the lines that really grabbed me and stuck with me all day was, "Have we forgotten some secret we knew back when we were just children?" I mean really! Think about that. When I watch the news, or just the character of some people I wonder and say to myself, "what the heck has happened to people?"

Matthew 18: 3, "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

When I look at my grandchildren, it's like they don't have a care in the world, and of course they wouldn't. The world hasn't gotten to them yet. The pressures of life. Where does it begin? Home, school, who really knows?
Only God knows, because nothing goes unseen by Him. Hebrews 4: 13, " Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight."The Creator, sustainer, the God who knows, past, present and future. Nothing is unknown or unseen by Him.

That's why it's so very important to follow our Creators word on raising our  children, Proverbs 22: 6. Our children are a gift, a reward from God, Psalm 127:3. God gave us an instruction manual to learn and live by while we are here. B.basic...I.instructions...B.before...L.leaving....E.earth. It's our own choice not to pick it up and gain wisdom and grow wings right here! It certainly isn't heaven, but the more you dive into this love relationship with Jesus, not religion, the eyes of your heart grow wide open. Then a great journey and purpose for life begins. You want to help others that you see struggling with questions to the truth of what you know made you come alive.

The time will come soon enough when our time is up here, and we will see the full picture of the preview of heaven we have now. God wants His Spirit to come very much alive in those of us who believe. But that won't happen with religion. It's a love relationship with Jesus. Keep in the living word, 2 Timothy 3: 15, "Which is able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ."

Much love... Kim D
