Jesus at the center.... Israel & New Breed

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAFd-ykSSyA

Ephesians 2: 4-6, "But because of His GREAT LOVE for us.....made us ALIVE with Christ....And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms"....

I've had a relationship with Jesus Crist for about 30 years now, and I am really starting to be blown away by the fact that I am just in time fulfilling my God given purpose. When I put my faith, and hope, and trust in Jesus Christ, my spirit became one with Him and His Father,(John 17:20-26) and I am seated with Him! That may not seem big to you as it does me, but keep diving deep in the word, daily, and get to know Him more and more. You will begin to see, you don't fight for victory. You fight from victory that Jesus already won! And the BEST part of it is,He made a public spectacle of the enemy, and DISARMED them!!! Colossians 2:15, "And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, TRIUMPHING OVER THEM BY THE CROSS."

There is absolutely nothing that can compare to the presence of Jesus. The closer you get to Him, the more He opens the eyes of your heart and soul to see His great love, and His power over the enemy of this world. He gave us all He had to give. He gave up His life for us. He died for every sin we committed, past, present and future. His blood is what covers us who believe. His grace and mercy who can fathom? Even the enemy didn't expect that. This GREAT LOVE has captured me! I never feel alone even though I am a widow. He completes me. He is the center of my life, my everything! The more time I spend with Him, the sweeter this love grows.

My prayer for you this New Year is, if you have not experienced this GREAT LOVE. One that will never leave you or forsake you. One that loves you with no conditions attached. I can go on and on. I just pray you ask Him to come make Himself at home in your heart.

Much love

Big Fish.....FFH

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jhy9Nl9VTek

I haven't heard this song since my kids were in youth group. That's a long time. It so fits with what I want to share with you from Gods word. The story of Jonah in the bible.
Jonah 1: 1-3, The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai : “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.” But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord.

Have you ever run from God? I have. It truly doesn't work. One way or another, if you are truly His child, He will get your attention. Sometimes it's the hard way. In fact most of the time it is, because we are such stubborn selfish people. "Have you turned your back on His wish? On His will for your life, have you mad Him sad? Do you want to get out of the big fish? Listen to God and follow His plan, and you won't be part of the main dish. He'll spit you out on dry land."

Basically Jonah discovered the hard way, that you can't run or hide from God and His plan on using you for His purposes. Look at Jeremiah 23: 24,“‘Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him?’ declares the LORD. ‘Do I not fill heaven and earth?’ declares the LORD”

Choose obedience if you sense God is calling on you for a specific purpose, or purposes. It's the joy in living for Him and being His vessel to do His work here. It may be in a hard marriage that He is using you to draw that spouse to Him. I experienced this one and it was soooooo worth it! To know my husband is home with my Lord. It may be a sickness for a season to show His strength in your weakness. It may be at the job you have, shining His light there and speaking out for Him when it feels uncomfortable. If He is leading you, it is full of His power, not yours!! So go for it! Watch God work.
Don't let the enemy whisper his lies in your head. He is a liar! Full of schemes to turn you his way. He's been that way from the beginning of our time here on earth and he hasn't changed. Stay close to God and He will stay close to you. (John 15:4..James 4:8)  It's His promise, and our daddy doesn't lie.

I will look up......Elevation Worship

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEQnoE7SnZw

I can't believe how long this song has been on my heart to write a blog, but it just wouldn't come out.

God truly is crazy Amazing!! He knows our hearts when we pray and if we are really trusting Him in the prayers that we are praying. Also resting in Him and knowing He's got it. You know, like Isaiah 26: 3 says, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trust in You."
He's faithful, and has showed me that time and time again, and because of this I know that He is able to do above and beyond what I can even imagine, Ephesians 3:20 .

But now I know why it just wasn't flowing into a blog. This gift He has given me is for His glory and truth. I can't write, if the song or scripture that moved me to write isn't really happening within myself, even though I think it is. With God, things He creates in us aren't in part, but the whole thing.

Then the lyrics were Magnified in my ears like I never heard them before. Something like when you read a bible verse over and over and all of a sudden it jumps out at you because you are in the middle of experiencing it, or about to. Again Isaiah 26: 3 came alive! "WHOSE MIND IS STAYED ON YOU"

You see, I don't have a problem with trusting God. It's just where I let my mind take me when I'm looking at what the enemy wants me to focus on, rather than my Great God. He truly is Prince of peace if we do just as these lyrics say.....

"All the worries of this world. I will lay them at Your feet. Surrender EVERY ANXIOUS THOUGHT for PERFECT PEACE! All the LOVED ONES I hold dear. All my hopes and dreams and ALL MY FEARS. I will CHOOSE TO TRUST YOUR NAME, IN EVERYTHING!!!!!

The capitalized words is what was now being magnified to me. In the song and the scripture.
It's truly what He wants. To be, "Jesus, Lord of all!" He wants to show us His goodness and faithfulness, but how can He if we look at everything the enemy want us to focus on.

Now I can write..... "I will look up"  for there is NONE above You.

Much love

Endless Alleluia... Cory Asbury

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XI-nkc4xqHM

1 Samuel 3: 8-11
I can't say enough about Christian music, and how much it speaks to my heart and brings me peace and strength.

This song relaxes me. Peace comes to every part of me!

It's so true. In the morning when I rise to meet Him, He's the first thought on my mind. Like a little kid I say, "speak Lord, what do you have to tell me today?"

I love spending my mornings with being in His presence. Sometimes I don't want to leave. Someday I never will. His word is precious and so alive! It's not just a book. If you go at reading it like it's something that you should do, or have to do, it won't speak to you.

It's His love letter to us. Just like if you had a relationship with someone who went away for a very long time, and the only way you had to communicate was by writing to each other. I will never forget, when I was dating my husband to be, and he moved to California for a while. I couldn't wait to receive his letters. It made me feel so close to him. I would read them over and over. It was as if I could almost feel his presence through the words. Look at the bible and the written word like that, and you won't read it the same anymore. I may never understand everything I read it. But one thing I know for sure, He loves me!

We only have this moment to live this life. Don't miss out on the most beautiful love relationship with Jesus. Don't miss the countless miracles all around you that point only to Him. Spend time with Him. Cling to Him. Let Him begin to be the first and last thought on your mind everyday. Experience the kind of peace it brings you.

The King is among us..... Elevation Worship

Little did I know when I woke up with the word consecrate, and the lyrics of a beautiful song, "consecrate yourselves to me, and you will see amazing things," that God was really going to show me something so beautiful right after I prayed, and in His PERFECT TIMING that only He can do. No coincidence! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one He's listening to at the moment, and this moment was extra special!

Right now I have dear friends who are battling cancer of some kind, and going through some rough treatment. As I left my house this morning at 4:30 am, it was cool out and the stars were BRILLIANT! I leaned against my car in awe and just stared for a moment. So many thoughts going through my mind in a blink. I began to lift up a prayer for my friends. Before I could finish saying, "Jesus hear my prayer," a shooting star shot all the way across the sky like one I've never seen before. I mean, I've seen shooting stars before, but not like this, and not in the most perfect timing. I'm not one who needs signs and wonders, but when God wants to show Himself off, it will take your breath away.

Do you give your time and attention to God Almighty? Psalm 8:3, The Creator of the stars and universe. Desiring to know Him more and more through His Son Jesus Christ. That's the definition to consecrate oneself, and yes, He will show you amazing things. What dad doesn't like to show himself off to his kids. My dad did, and so does my heavenly Father.

Psalm 5: 1-3 and 11-12, "Listen to my words Lord, consider my lament. Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to You I pray. In the morning Lord You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my request before You and wait expectantly...... let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You. Surely, Lord, You bless the righteous; You surround them with favor as a shield."

Center of Your Love..... Kim Walker (Jesus Culture

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsk-6l4gEqw

I love this song so much! To me it's not just words, it's praise, worship, a prayer of thanks to my Jesus to where He has taken me so far in this life's journey.

Jesus prays for us before He goes to the cross in John 17: 15-26. We truly were created to be the center of His love. To glorify Him no matter what we are going through. It's the example He gave us all through the bible.

I talk to a lot of people in my day of work. I love when the conversations are about anything that has to do with Jesus. One day was really good when someone brought up suffering. They said they don't believe they should be going through what they are going through, or any other kind of suffering.  I was like, really, and then the Holy Spirit took over from there.
Look at the first verse in John 17 where Jesus looked toward heaven and prayed. His hour has come to die, but not an easy death by any means! He would suffer greatly before He died, and yet all He wanted to do was bring glory to His Father through it all.

God is always on our side. He is the rock we should cling to. Abide in Him and He will abide in us, John 15: 4-9. We are all going to suffer one way or another at some point in life. Some people suffer more than others all through their life . I've seen people with faith who suffer, and I've seen people who don't believe who suffer. Big difference in how they carry their suffering. I truly believe it's what you cling to. It's Who you draw close to.
No one wants to suffer, and either did Jesus. He even asked His Father to take the cup from Him. But in the same prayer He said, "Not my will but Yours."

I couldn't get through one day without Jesus. "He's the One that carries me. He's the voice that stirs up inside me. He's the fire that roars life inside me"....
All I can say is "Thank You for being such a good Father. I know You are for me. I know You are with me. Here's the biggest difference in many of Gods created beings... "The God of more than enough is living inside me." Have you asked Jesus to come into your life? To make Himself at home in you? It will change your life forever!

Confident.... Steffany Gritzinger

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r32B_vLqC-Y

The very beginning of this song brings my heart and soul to these powerful verses. He will raise your head so you can see that heaven really does surround you in every situation, every circumstance, every battle...
Ephesians 1:19, ...."His incomparable great power for all who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength He exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power, dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET"....
Ephesians 2:6 "And God raised US UP WITH CHRIST and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Jesus Christ"....
I pray you get just how POWERFUL that is!!!! It can change your life and perspective on the enemies attacks. Because so long as we have our feet still on this earth, the attacks won't stop happening. Learn that you already sit in VICTORY!!! Learn how to fight with everything Jesus is in you.

Don't miss that it says, "for all who believe." Then you stand in full authority and power because of Jesus alone. If we could just wrap our minds around what it means to be seated with Christ, we would NEVER feel like we are defeated in anything. Not even death!
Heaven is not just a destination, it can also be a present reality! Can you grasp that? Heaven is in me because Christ is in me. So the same power that raised Him from the dead, lives inside of me. It doesn't matter what comes against me. I am more than a conqueror.
It is an overwhelmingly great feeling to know Jesus sits above all the enemy tries to throw at me. I LOV E, LOVE, the fact that His laughter scatters my enemies!

I've been a follower of Jesus for over 30 years now, and I am finally getting my thoughts aligned with where He wants me to be with Him. Confident, that His faithfulness will always see me through.
"So with every moment left, and every borrowed breath let this be true. That all my heart, for all my life belongs to Jesus."

Great Things .... Elevation Worship

The older I get, the more I look at things with an eternal point of view. If I didn't, I would be at wits end daily! There's a lot of good in life, but there's also a lot of bad and ugly. Knowing that it's not going to be my forever here, helps me to live every gifted day with Kingdom purpose. Yes, even the bad and ugly.

I love Romans 8. Looking at verse 5, If I lived according to the flesh, I would probably hate a lot of people, and do things in life that I would probably regret. But when you seek to live by the Spirit, you see things your going through, and people, through another set of eyes. Having the Living Spirit of God in you is the only way that you can have this unexplainable peace in the midst of troubles and painful situations.

When reading Romans 8: 28, I use to look at it as if God would, and should, work all things I was going through for the good. I thought with my way of seeing and thinking about the things. I always thought with a big WHY? I remember even saying to God, "but Your word says You would work everything I'm going through for the good, and it sure doesn't look or feel like it God!"
But when you are really hard after understanding, and seeking God in it, He begins to open the eyes of your heart. Verse 28 again, "and we know that IN all things"..... Not out, or from something you wish to end, but it's IN it that He is doing His good work.

Once the questioning of "what the heck is going on God" subsides, and you continue loving Him through it, He speaks loud and clear. Looking at verse 17, 28 and 29 again..... We share in the sufferings of Christ as His children. We are called according to His purpose, and being CONFORMED to the image of His Son. We may not like it, and we don't have to. But one thing that is amazing to me is, I still love Him with all my heart. Verse 39, Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Jesus Christ Who lives in me. Everything is worth it just to know Him more.

Some run from God and stop believing when the things they don't understand doesn't make sense. But did you ever really believe? Do you even try to still seek Him? Life is not, and never will be easy, even with Jesus as my Lord. But one thing I know for sure, He is with me in everything. When I don't understand, I draw even closer to Him. I pray you do the same.

You Say.... Lauren Daigle

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIaT8Jl2zpI

What makes you feel complete? What defines who you are? Is it the cloths you wear, the car you drive, the house you live in, the job you have, the person you are with?

From the very beginning of creation in Genesis 3, Satan's never ending attempt to deceive us started with Adam and Eve. It hasn't stopped since then. Genesis 1:27, tells me I was created in His image. The image that I have of Jesus is everything I want to be. Nothing can define me, only He can.

Knowing who I am in Christ helps me to fight those voices in my head, or anything that anyone else says about me. Everything He says about me defines me. Just because I'm a Christian, doesn't mean I don't have my weak moments. But the deeper my love relationship continues, those voices become very faint.

I love what James 4: 7-8 says because it's so true. Submit yourselves to God first and watch what happens. The enemy will flee. There's no room for him to squeeze his lies in when you know God's word about you. Whether you believe that or not, it will begin to make all the difference .

It's up to making a personal choice with this love relationship with Jesus. Put the new nature of God in our hearts, spend time with Him and watch and feel it expand in your soul. That's what working out your own salvation means, Philippians 2: 12. We live in a sin soaked world, and the enemy never quits. 1 John 4:4, But greater is He who is in me!

Colossians 3: 10, "and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image  of the One who created Him"... There are several other verses to drown out anything less than what God says you are..... One of my favorites is Psalm 139... 1 Corinthians 3:16, 2 Corinthians 4: 16, John 3: 6, John 3:3.... These are just a few I like to keep as my weapons against the lies.

I believe what my Creator says about me, and He is still finishing His work in me. If I was worth dying for as a sinner, I know I am loved!!!

Much love, and pray for you to be encouraged

If I had Wings....Darius Rucker

I never heard this song before. I just happened to walk into a meeting room and it was playing before their meeting started. I just stopped in my tracks and listened to every word. How beautiful.

One of the lines that really grabbed me and stuck with me all day was, "Have we forgotten some secret we knew back when we were just children?" I mean really! Think about that. When I watch the news, or just the character of some people I wonder and say to myself, "what the heck has happened to people?"

Matthew 18: 3, "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

When I look at my grandchildren, it's like they don't have a care in the world, and of course they wouldn't. The world hasn't gotten to them yet. The pressures of life. Where does it begin? Home, school, who really knows?
Only God knows, because nothing goes unseen by Him. Hebrews 4: 13, " Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight."The Creator, sustainer, the God who knows, past, present and future. Nothing is unknown or unseen by Him.

That's why it's so very important to follow our Creators word on raising our  children, Proverbs 22: 6. Our children are a gift, a reward from God, Psalm 127:3. God gave us an instruction manual to learn and live by while we are here. B.basic...I.instructions...B.before...L.leaving....E.earth. It's our own choice not to pick it up and gain wisdom and grow wings right here! It certainly isn't heaven, but the more you dive into this love relationship with Jesus, not religion, the eyes of your heart grow wide open. Then a great journey and purpose for life begins. You want to help others that you see struggling with questions to the truth of what you know made you come alive.

The time will come soon enough when our time is up here, and we will see the full picture of the preview of heaven we have now. God wants His Spirit to come very much alive in those of us who believe. But that won't happen with religion. It's a love relationship with Jesus. Keep in the living word, 2 Timothy 3: 15, "Which is able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ."

Much love... Kim D

Wonderful..... Kristene DiMarco

"The mercy of Your blood would not relent. My guilty stains You washed them all away."

I stand innocent of God's judgment only because I put my hope and trust in Jesus Christ.

I don't think there is one of the commandments that I have not broken. If not in action, I've done it in thought. If you are honest with yourself, so have you.

The 10 Commandments List

  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
  2. You shall not make idols.
  3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
  5. Honor your father and your mother.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal.
  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  10. You shall not covet.

There may be some of these we still do. The joy of a relationship with Jesus is, His love for us is unconditional. Scripture even says that the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, Matthew 26:41. At the cross is where all our weaknesses has a place to die. His desire is to draw us closer and closer into a relationship with Him.

I don't want to break any of these commandments intentionally, but I might unintentionally. That's the difference, and I am so glad that God sees into my heart. One day we all will face death, that's a fact. You may not believe you are going to face judgment, and that's your choice. It may be the worst choice you ever made in your life. Or better said at your death. Hebrews 9: 27, "Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment."

You know what's crazy? It takes more faith to believe we came from nothing, than to believe that there is a Creator.

Jesus set me free and now I stand redeemed.

With much love

Remember to Remember.... Steven Curtis Chapman

Joshua 4:21 ...."In the future your children will ask, "what do these stones mean?"

I love the lyrics of this song. But I also love that in the beginning he picks up a stone and puts it in his backpack. I do that too when I go to places I've never been, along with the other stones I've collected. I also love that he sings about mountains and valleys. That is what my BlogSpot is titled. (Mountain and Valley Devotionals)
My children and grandchildren will find memory boxes filled with special stuff I saved and letters I have written them. But even more special, they will find all the blogs I have written over the years. I pray that they can look back at them and be strengthened by remembering just how faithful God has always been.

Many years ago, God laid on my heart to start writing. "Write through your pain and life experiences with Me and other things I will open the eyes of your heart to see. One day you will look back, and others will to, and remember Who carried you through the valleys. You'll be able to tell others about my promises and that "I Am" always faithful to help you see the mountain view."

I love Christian Music, I love God's word, and I love life. Put it all together and my blogging started to take off. It is viewed all around the world. Thanks to my son in law Brian for putting it together for me. I can look and see all the other countries that view and follow it. Over 68,000 now! All glory to God.
When I say I love life, that means I have learned to accept the good, the bad, and all the in between. I don't like the painful parts at all. But I do like what it's doing to me, in me, and through me. None of us are going to live a pain free life, but it's what you choose to do with it. Remember to remember "Who" walked you from the valleys deep to the mountain view.

Like the lyrics say : As sure as the sun will shine, there'll be more mountains I will climb and more deep dark shadowlands where desperate faith is all I have. But Jesus tells me: "Look where we've been and where we're going, and remember to remember".....

The rest of my days, I pray my life brings Him glory.

Much Love

See You again..... Anthony Evans

Wow!!! I hope you take the time to listen to the lyrics of this song....

We all need to be revived in one way or another. This month of June, my birthday month, I felt so blessed in so many ways. I was off of work for close to 4 weeks. Starting it off with a cruise.  Coming back home and seeing much of my family, grandchildren, and friends. Going to see one of my favorite preachers, ON MY BIRTHDAY, Tony Evans and his son Anthony leading worship. My kids and family celebrating my birthday for almost 3 weekends with stuff to do. I feel so revived, and I am ready to go back to work. It truly is a great mission field.

There is also another revival we need: Spiritual revival! Read Ephesians 4: 17-30..... This is very powerful instructions to those of us who say we are believers of Jesus our Savior. Yet we can have ways of grieving the Holy Spirit of God within us by the lifestyle we choose to live: verse 30. Some of us have created a buffet God. We pick and choose what taste good to us. What we don't want we just leave it. Ignoring the very things that break His heart, and making excuses for our sins we stay in knowing it's wrong. That makes a big difference. We may be able to ignore our parents voice, or preachers voice, but you can't ignore God. Look at Romans 6: 1-2 and what do you think? Especially verse 2! We can't pick and choose what we want of God. I mean we can, but there will be consequences to follow.

Jesus died for our sins. Not in part, but all of it. From the time we were born, till the time we die. We are all sinners till the day we die. We will never be perfect this side of heaven. That is why we need His precious grace. All of it! Don't block the flow. If I allow sin to rule in me, God's life in me is slowly being killed. There is no really clearer way to put it. Knowingly making excuses for what we know breaks the heart of God, grieves His Spirit within us. Blocking the flow of grace, and killing His life in me.

Do you feel like you are in more darkness than light? Do you feel less joy and peace? Do you feel hopeless and depressed? Do you want to feel the fullness of His presence again? Talk to Jesus. Ask Him to reveal where you are being double minded and blind. Then repent.

James 4: 8, "Come near to God and He will come near to you. Wash your hands you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double minded," That's pretty clear instructions for us all. This was written to Christians. Our thinking can darken our understanding and slowly separate us from the life of God, Ephesians 4: 18.

I pray this helps open the eyes of your heart.

Let there be LIGHT..... Hillsong

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7JsK50NGaA

1 John 1: 5, "God is light, in Him there is no darkness at all."

When I read this and meditate on it, my hearts desire, as it is Jesus's desire, is to be one with Him as He is one with His Father, John 17: 21.
So I pray: "Let there be light. Open the eyes of my blindness. Purify my heart in Your fire. Jesus have Your way."

This morning as I left for work at 4:30 am, every sidewalk light, and spotlight that is charged by the sunlight was out. Not even a glimmer. Usually when I leave for work at that time they are all on lighting my way. But lately it has been dark and gloomy due to all the rain we've been getting. No sun, No charge, No power to light the way....Selah

If you truly are a child of God, the Light that shines in the darkness of our life will produce change. The things that break His heart, the sin that He so suffered for, should break our hearts too. We should make no excuses for living in any immorality. Look at these scriptures. It's not what I say. It's what the word of God says that should produce that change in us. Ephesians 5: 3... Galatians 5: 19....1 Corinthians 6: 9....1 Corinthians 6: 18..... These are just a few.

Are you in His word daily? Not just on Sunday or just when you need a Savior, but Daily. Desperate for Him always. In love with Him. Having such a strong desire to shine for Him throughout the day. The only way you can do that is by charging yourself up with the "SON" daily by the word of God. Just like when the sun is shining all day, it charges up the batteries so much that the lights will stay on all the way till natural daylight.

Do you live in darkness because you don't even gain the knowledge from the word of God to know you are in the darkness? Hosea 4: 6, There are no excuses for living a selfish life. God is a loving God full of grace, but there is also His judgment. Jesus is either just your Savior, or He is Lord of your life.

Much love

Hand to Hold..... JJ Heller

The lyrics of this song are heart melting truth... To my girls, Danielle and Michelle, and my grandchildren.

May we all never loose the wonder of our soul..
May the Living Light inside us be the compass as we go...

The older I get, the faster time seems to be going. My girls are grown and now have a family of their own. How I wish it wasn't going by so quickly.
There are many lessons to learn in life, not just as a child growing up, but as a parent raising our children and trusting our Heavenly Father and the prayers we pray for them. I had a hard time of knowing when to let go and allow lessons to be learned. You never want your kids to hurt. But that's how we all learn and grow. Life is a gift made for living, and I always hoped and prayed they would live it well. I am so very proud of them, and now watching them raise their own.

There comes a time in every parents life where you have to believe you did the best you can, and if you are teaching and training them up in Jesus Christ, there's nothing better, Proverbs 22:6. Trust the Light inside of them to be the compass as they go, Psalm 119: 105. My girls are believers in Jesus Christ, and like us all who believe, it is a life long lesson to allow Him to be Lord over all. I'm still learning that and allowing God to teach me. I am so grateful that He is patient and loving to me as He takes my hand in this life to the next.

My girls may not always have my hand to hold, but I know one thing for sure...... Our hearts are connected to the One who holds us all. Jesus Christ, the lover of our souls.

Faithful God... Laura Story

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JMrOec7bCk

Finally a clear view. Thank you my Faithful God. "Every promise kept. Every need You met. All I am, and all I'll ever be is all because You loved faithfully."

If you don't think God loves faithfully, you don't have a clear spiritual view. You're looking at love through your eyes, and what you think it should be. Love is unconditional. For better for worse, in sickness and in health. Till death do us part, so help me God. Why do you think our vows before God say: "so help me God" He knew we would need all the help we could get to love unconditionally. So thankful God held onto me and my marriage, as I held onto Him with everything in me. Blessed to have been able to feel the living God walk with me in times where I wanted to give up. My husband is right when he told me we were even.

Only God knows how much I wanted a clear view on my husband's last words to me, when I said, "Michael you blessed my life." He said, "no you blessed mine, we're even." I never fully understood his statement. But now I have a clear view that came from God's living word.

Luke 23: 39-43, In my reading about the thief on the cross when he was dying, he asked Jesus, "remember me when You enter Your Kingdom." He had more faith, and more spiritual insight, than His followers who spent much quality time with Him. They lost hope and their dreams were being shattered right in front of their eyes as Jesus hung there dying. They thought Jesus came to earth to save the kingdom here. Much like my dreams were being shattering right in front of my eyes. I was watching my husbands life fade away from here. I wasn't going to share all the things we still wanted to do together. Places we wanted to go. But I believe Michael was already encountering heaven, much like the thief, he had spiritual insight.

I never gave up hope that if it was God's will, He could still heal him even though it looked like it was close to the end. Michael always knew how much I loved Jesus and that the Kingdom of heaven was in me here on earth. But for him, he was about to enter the Kingdom of heaven forever. He knows how much I sacrificed my own happiness in our marriage in hopes that he would surrender his life to Christ so he could be free from all his addictions.
So when I really think about it, my dreams aren't shattered at all. They came true. "We're even." He has the Kingdom now and forever and so will I.  I will praise my God the rest of my life.

Much love in Him

No Matter What...Ryan Stevenson (Bart Millard of Mercy Me)

This song was sent to me, and is dedicated to a dear family member who I know can testify to the truth in the lyrics of this song.

How can it be that "No matter What" I've ever done, God will NEVER let go of me. God is not a liar, Numbers 23: 19. He will never give up on us. He is so trustworthy. His heart of unconditional love, no one can fully understand it.
I love this verse, 1 Timothy 1: 15-16, "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners-of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display His immense patience as an example for those who would believe in Him and receive eternal life."

When Jesus gets a hold on you, you are never the same. It's a love relationship of constant pursuit. Never really satisfied, or better said, you just can't get enough. It's a love that lives in you, freeing you from any sin that is binding you.

I don't know what you've done that might make you feel like you are in prison. Or maybe you really are in prison for some crime. There is a place of freedom in Jesus Christ. He died for all sinners. No matter what the crime. No sin is worse than another in God's eyes. Don't let the enemy keep you in bondage that the blood of Jesus has freed you from.

The family member who sent me this song is now letting Jesus use his life greatly. He is not just out of prison, but he is free internally, and eternally. Only by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and receiving this truth, he has been redeemed and being made new, Isaiah 43: 1-19. In talking with him, I know that this scripture applies perfectly in his life..... Philippians 3: 12, "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me."

Much love. Kim D

Different....Micah Tyler

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUT4trsrBCw

Luke 17: 33, "Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it."

What if we were to wake up every morning, and instead of thinking of our planned out day, we say to God, the Creator of the universe, Who calls each star by name, I can go on and on..... We say to Him, "I wanna be different. I wanna be changed. Till all of me is gone and all that remains, is a fire so bright that the whole world can see, that there is something different in me.
Oh how that would make our heavenly Father so happy. But the same way our children break our hearts, and are disobedient to us, so are we to Him as adults. How can we expect anything more in our own family lives, if God isn't getting what He wants from us who call ourselves His.

We need to ask ourselves, are we speaking of Him to our children, friends, co workers, the way we should? Don't just think that going to church and leaving the responsibility to others will work. God wants us to be His living examples. When was the last time you said grace at the table together? I mean, if you have food, a roof over your head, and a table to eat on, you should be giving thanks EVERYDAY as a family. We can all really take so much for granted.

If it is God's hearts desire for us to follow Him, which it is, then it's time to think different, look different, and be different from the world. Instead of following our way, it's got to be His way. It's the only way that works and lives are blessed. I would rather bow my heart and knees now than keep waiting. Look what God's word says to the churches.

Revelations 2: 7, "Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.....I will give the right to eat from the tree of life IN THE PARADISE OF GOD."
Revelations 3: 16, "because  you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth."  So I ask, are you still on fire for God? Do you think it is important to Him? I sure do. We all need to do a heart check!

Father God, teach us to listen. Give us Your vision on this gift of life. Move our hearts to be set apart for you first. Help us not to remain the same. Set our hearts on fire again. Change us to bless Your life with our worship, and may it spill over on our families and friends. In Jesus Name, Amen.
