Sean Curran... Bigger than i thought

 https://youtu.be/qWafQOxt9tE

I was in the gym working out and this song came on and it just started speaking to my heart. What a year.  I know so many people who have been through, and still fighting through different health battles.  I know people who have had this virus and made it within a few days. I know people who had it, and had it for longer than they were hoping. Some have been put in the hospital, and some went home to be with the Lord.
But how does that speak to you? For me its how I felt from the very beginning.  Our time is in God's hands. Virus or no virus. Goodness, I even hate even a simple cold. I pray  God's protection over myself and family daily! That's what He tells us to do, and never cease praying. But does that mean that we won't get the virus, or anything else for that matter? No! Members of my own family got it. One even put in the hospital. Praise God they are fine now.
But how I felt, and what kept me in complete peace, was knowing my life and time of death is in God's hands. Its already written.  I took precautions, but never stopped living! Little get aways, family holiday time together, going out to dinner.... If someone wanted me to mask up, I did.
Life is too precious, and short. I lost a dear friend who was hit from behind on his motorcycle. He loved life, and lived it. Thank God he did,  because he didn't know it would be his last. My sister was in a total car wreck after surviving the virus. She could have been killed.
So I guess what I'm trying to say, is live life!!! Lay everything before God. All your fears. He understands. But He doesn't want you to stop living. He gave us life to live it abundantly, John 10: 10.
The time I spend with God, He is becoming bigger than I ever thought He was.

Open the eyes of my heart... Michael W Smith

 https://youtu.be/Vnqb7Vn4AEE

As I was taking the tree down, and all the lights off the tree, a thought came in my head.  I couldn't wait for all the beautiful lights of Christmas to be turned on in my house, and all around the neighbourhood. It truly does light up the darkness, and puts a joy inside when you see all the pretty decorations.
Most of us know that Christmas is more than lights and decorations. It's the light that came into this dark world, Jesus Christ.  The very 1st few verses in Genesis chapter 1, tells us that the Earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the whole surface of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, let there be light......This Light that separated the light from the darkness was the spirit of God.  The light of the Sun and the moon and the stars came after the first Light, verse 14.
My prayer is that as we all take our decorations down, we continue to keep Jesus Christ high and lifted up. Shining in the light of His glory. If we are hoping for 2021to be different, we need to keep Him first. We need to change. The ones who follow Him and believe. Don't treat the Holy God like a Genie. Only wanting him when we want change, and when things are looking really bad.  The ones who follow the dark side do what they do and it shouldn't surprise us. But the ones who walk in the light, as he is in the light, need to put Him in His rightful place. High and lifted up.
For His glory

When we pray... Tauren wells

This Christmas, and going into the New Year, has been like no other for me personally. I take to heart the prayers that people are asking for. I know that there are many families grieving at this time. Either by losing a loved one, sitting by the side of someone who is suffering, or something personal of their own struggle.
As I was reading Mark 15: 32-40, my heart was overwhelmed with sorrow, with the agony that Jesus went through.  He asked them to stay awake and pray because Jesus Himself, in His humanity was overwhelmed with distress.  To the point of death! Can you imagine that??
Many times in my life I have been in a place where I was lost for words to pray. So we reach out to our brothers and sisters to pray. As most of you know, I use Facebook for the glory of God. Yes, and some funny things that I like to put out there. But if I put on my page that I am asking for prayer, I sure hope that when people say they are, they really do. They are not just words being thrown up in the air. Those prayers are entering the throne Room of our God. It's powerful. It comforts the one you are praying for.  I know this to be true! All Jesus wanted them to do was stay awake and pray.
So if you see your friends on Facebook asking for prayer, please take the time to bow your head and enter the throne Room of God with a request. That person who is asking will certainly feel that power of prayer.

Better Word .. Elevation Worship

Sitting home with only Christmas lights on and thinking how people might think of Christmas. I know that alot of people think about the baby in a manger. But do you really know the reason for the season?  Its so much more than lights and presents, and even family time.
What is really enough to you when all the lights, all the festivities, all the family goes home? The birth of Jesus was only the beginning.  Its the blood, and all the in-between that makes the difference in our lives here, and for all eternity!
What are you going to do this year to make 2021 a better year? I believe that's what our Lord is waiting to see.
Everyone thinks 2021 is going to be better.  But have you yet accepted this precious baby in the manger? Do you have any idea about the sacrifice, and the blood? I pray this Christmas you really see the difference of this wonderful celebration.
More than a manger. Its the blood, and nothing but the blood.

Jesus we love you... Shane and Shane

 https://youtu.be/lutoNdh-ghU

What is our anthem song? What is our legacy? It matters to God. We take nothing with us when we go. But we are held accountable for what we did with Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:17-20. We are to be Christ ambassadors.
2020 has been hell on Earth for so many people. In all reality, we are all seeing more and more of what the Bible tells us about this world, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Ephesians 2:2. But our God never ever loses control. He never changes. He remains faithful, and all knowing. We, who are followers , are a part of His plan, and spiritual battle, Ephesians 6: 10-18. We are here for His purpose and glory. To bring others to Him, and one day forever home!
But if you are a believer in Christ, has the seed of the spirit remained just a seed?  Or has it driven you to know more of God. Then that seed will start to expand in your soul. We begin to change and see things differently. 1 Peter 1:23..... 2 Peter 1: 3-8. Living productive lives.
All of us have been through several different things this year. Even counting our blessings, which are many. But I know and believe that God is making himself known more and more to many this year, but some still don't see it.  Are we, as followers of Christ, doing what we are to be doing to bring others to Him? That's why we are here. That's why we still have breath. But many of us take Jesus and just keep Him to ourselves.
You wanna get that seed growing? Then just don't admire Jesus, ADORE HIM! Make it a point to set time aside to spend with Him.
Then begin to become aware of what our lives are for. To glorify God in all things. Even the trials. Let His light shine even in our darkest night. We will go through constant changes this side of heaven.  BUT GOD,  remains faithful!
So let us pour out our affection and devotion to others.

Welcome Home.. Shawn Groves

https://youtu.be/2m859udQUmY

I called my daughter this morning to ask her what her plans were for the day. For the past 2 weeks they have been cleaning up closets, and making whatever room they can for a new life that is coming in this world. My grandson Holden.  What a gift from God a child is. How welcomed and adored Holden is going to feel.
Jesus, Who came as a baby, given to all who would accept Him, and believe why He came, deserves to feel welcomed, honoured, and adored.
We sure can store a lot of things in our closets. Things we even forgot that were there. Just junk that piles up. The same thing is true with the closets of our life. The one thing about the closets of our life, we can't hide any junk from God. He sees all, and knows all. All he wants is for us to welcome him in our hearts. He doesn't care how cluttered the closets of our life are. He doesn't care about all the junk. Matthew 11:27-30, His word tells us to come just as we are. John 3:3-21, Mark 2:22, That's the beauty of the Holy Spirit, and the power that it has within us to guide us to all the areas that hes working on in creating a new life within us.
Our hearts are not our own. Ephesians 2:10, God-created us for His purpose, and His glory. Things that were prepared for us to do before we even came to be. What a great experience this life can be if we look at it for eternal purposes.
My prayer is if you have not given your heart to Jesus Christ. If you only know him by name and not by a relationship, I pray that you open your heart to him and let him make himself at home.

Still... Hillsong United

 https://youtu.be/abDzMnIybqs

Love this in Mark 6: 45-51
In this story we can see that Jesus wasn't in the boat with them in the storm sleeping.  In this story Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him. He went up on a mountainside to pray. Who knows what he was praying about. Maybe he was praying about the very thing he was about to do, knowing that a storm was going to arise that his disciples were going to head into it. Maybe he was praying that they would remember what he did in the last storm. Everything we go through should increase our faith in remembrance of what Christ has done in each storm. When evening came , the boat was in the middle of the Lake, while Jesus was on land. He saw the disciples straining at the oars because the wind and the waves were against them.  Jesus set out to walk on the very storm that they were straining through. He climbed into the boat with them and the wind died down.... I just love this because no matter where we are, Jesus is aware of every single thing we are going to go through in this life. He walks on the very storms that we are afraid of. He climbs in with us.  Sometimes the storms don't calm down, but he will certainly bring us the peace He promises that is unexplainable.  I pray as we journey through this life, we will see Jesus in everything and he will increase our faith in him.

Restore my soul... Vertical church Band

 https://youtu.be/RT0f0YrPbHk

At the cross, Jesus bore every sin, of every person. He did this to secure for us a place in heaven, but also to walk with us through everything we will go through here. Everything , good, bad, and even the ugly.
There is not any of us who doesn't need to be restored, and our hearts revived. We need to daily be fed with the word of God to grow. When we grow, we change and see things in the light of God. We no longer make excuses for living the way we do. The spirit is like a plant that needs constant nurturing to keep alive.
Focusing on the cross, and its purpose, is what will relight the fire inside of us. The more time we spend with God, or at least it is for me, the more I want. He truly is the love of my life, and my enough. Hes where I find my way through things in this life. He helps to understand the things that I can't. 1 Corinthians:9-16, love this Word of God.  It tells me that I have the mind of Christ. I have received the spirit that is from God, and it was freely given to us all. But not without the suffering was put upon Jesus. So I pray you find yourself in true surrender to the most beautiful experience thus side of heaven.

Protecter.. Kim Walker

 https://youtu.be/r_v3i2k6Psc

Reading the 2nd chapter of Job and how it begins the same way as chapter one, where satan has to ask permission from God. It made me think of Jesus telling Peter, that satan had asked to sift him as wheat, but Jesus was praying for him. Luke 22:31.  Then he was to turn back and strengthen his brothers...  God is never NEVER unaware of the suffering that we go through. No one wants to go through it, even Jesus asked for the cup of suffering to be removed. But because he did the will of his Father, just like some other people I know right now in their suffering, accepting the will of what God is allowing  them to go through, they are receiving a power and peace that only they can explain.  When you know people like this, they are such an inspiration. You can see God all over them. There is no other way to explain it. Our lives are to bring God glory. God will always give His power with purpose. Isaiah 46:10, "  My purpose will be established, and I accomplish all my good pleasure."  God uses his power to accomplish his will. Then be like Paul and pray, Ephesians 3:19-20 , ..."be filled up to all the fullness of God." He's able!!

Peace... We the Kingdom

 https://youtu.be/uW6xcmqfiY4

Peace

The assurance of God's presence is the greatest gift. The assurance of knowing we have a place that is prepared for us. John 14:13. Doesn't get any better than that assurance. Hebrews 11: 1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see..... There are many things that we will hope for in our lives. But one things for sure, we can be assured of what you do not see. These are promises of God you can be assured of, because you feel His presence. Comforting scriptures...  Isaiah 41:10,  So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.. Isaiah 40:29-30,  He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the week.. Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.....Deuteronomy 31: 8,  The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged.....

One thing ... Hillsong worship

 https://youtu.be/VJ3yjEu6bj0

https://youtu.be/VJ3yjEu6bj0

I tasted the world seen more than enough

It's promises fleeting

Of water and wine I emptied the cup

And found myself wanting

Another great word, and reading.. Haggai 1:2-11.... explained...   God asked his people how they could live in luxury when his house was lying in ruins. Instead of rebuilding the temple, the people put their energies into beautifying their own homes. The harder the people worked for themselves, the less they had. Some of us are never satisfied no matter how much we have. Life is truly a lesson of learning that God gives, and yes, he can take away too.  Caring only for our needs, while ignoring a relationship with God and his purposes will lead to ruin. Judah's problem was confused priorities. Like Judah, our priorities involving occupation, family, and God's work, are often confused. Jobs, homes, vacations may rank higher on our list of importance than God.

Jesus is... Brooklyn tabernacle

 https://youtu.be/DZP9IihtLII

When this song came on in church last Sunday, my Spirit couldn't sit down. You couldn't hold me down LOL.  Not because of the energy in the song, but because HE IS!!!!! THE WAY, THE ONLY TRUTH THE LIFE.. He is the GREAT I AM!!
Do you know Him this way? If not,  do you want to? God is true to His word. That is what He desires. Us to know Him. Look at John 14: 6. Then you get to John chapter 15. Just underline how many times your Bible either says abide, or remain.
Some people want Jesus for what they can get, not for Who He is, and what He desires from us. Relationship,  not empty religion. When you really know Jesus, we will John 15:7-8.."bear much fruit, showing yourself to be my disciples." No matter what season of life we are in. So how does our life look to others. I always pray that someone would be encouraged by my life. We all have baggage. But Jesus uses it for our good, and His purposes. Romans 8:28. We have been called, and saved for His purpose.  Not everything that happens in our life feels good, that's for sure.  Put on the mindset of Jesus. Trust Him, because "Jesus is" The way.......

Called me Higher.. All Sons and Daughters

 https://youtu.be/FgAzLKXqcDk

The lyrics of this song really hit me because it has been what I've been going through for a while now, and I am going to be open and honest with you. Most of you know that I am head-over-heels in love with Jesus and a Christian. But there has been something rooted in me that God has been trying to show me for a long long time. Because of what we are going through right now, has brought up that bitter root of anger, and revenge.  Now, I can hold onto who I am and not let him change me from the inside, but that just keeps me right where I'm at. Quite honestly, I don't like it.  Making excuses for how I feel, like it's OK to want to see these rioters hurt real bad. I don't even want to put into words how I feel about revenge for these innocent people.  But the horrible thing about it, is God told me I'm no better than they are with what's in my heart. Wow!!!!  Romans 12: 18-19.... Matthew 5:44...  Revenge is mine says the Lord.... Do not repay evil with evil.... Pray for your enemies.... When I look at the police and see them standing there with people screaming in their face and taunting them, I thought of Jesus. How he stood there, and got spit at in His face. Thorns pressed into His head, beaten and crucified and innocent!  I use the excuse that I'm human and God understands me. But honestly that's not an excuse when God wants to take you to a deeper level with him, and I pursue after that daily.  Well I wasn't going to go deeper so long as this was in my heart and I didn't really recognize how ugly it was to God. I know what all of you might be saying.... Oh Kim, your human, God understands and so on...   But I know that so long as I have life, God is continually creating the image of Jesus in all of us who call ourselves His.  Well I have been failing this part since  Calambine high school shooting years ago, World Trade Center, and all that is going on now.  Yes I'm going to get mad.  That is impossible not to. But what was in my heart is not good at all, and it drew me to repentance and the peace that I desire to have when I sit in my prayer Room with my Lord. I hope this helps someone else who is stuck feeling distant from God and not knowing why. He calls us all higher and deeper.

Crown Him... I Am They

https://youtu.be/HFq96fWBnrs

I find it so fascinating when I read even in the Old Testament how it sounds so much, and looks so much like today. Reading Deuteronomy chapter 28 and the 1st verse.... If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on Earth. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you will obey the Lord your God.... Read the rest of that chapter it is amazing..   When you get to verse 15 it tells you the curses for disobedience. Everything you want to know is in God's word. You don't have to ask why things are happening. It's written in His word.  That led me into reading 2nd kings verse 5 and 6 and how it is explained in my Bible ...... God was doing what he said he would do in Deuteronomy 28. He had given Israel AMPLE warning, they knew what would come, but they still ignored God. Israel was now no better than the pagan nations it had destroyed in the days of Joshua. The nation had turned sour and rejected its original purpose, to honor God and be a light to the world... Wow, does that sound like today.... Heavenly Father, I personally thank you for being so patient with us. All we can do is pray for your mercy.

Changed ... JORDEN FELIZ

https://youtu.be/BGPMX4zU9jc

We can go to church every Sunday or every day of the week. But unless there is a change that is evident, then we really aren't changed at all.....2 Corinthians 3: You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
4 Such confidence we have through Christ before God. 5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life...... Pass it on. Somebody might just get contaminated with life from Jesus.

Whole heart.... Hillsong

https://youtu.be/nqDWJ-8Sk7w

Once I was broken
But You loved my whole heart through
Sin has no hold on me
'Cause Your grace holds me now....

I remember the day when I accepted Christ as my savior and what it feels like to have his grace cover me.. I wanted everyone to experience what I experienced. But I had a very tough time with trying to force it on someone, rather then God's perfect timing.
A relationship with Jesus is a person's choice. All we can do and hope for, is that they see a difference in the way we live. Christian growth is truly a lifelong process.
The more time we spend in the word and prayer, the more we change.
If I can give any advice at all, pray, and never cease praying. It is so much better seeing the power of your prayers at work. At the same time holding onto peace,  and trusting God. I know that how I handled it was very forceful. I could only thank God that He knew my heart and everything turned out the way I hoped for.  It might have taken longer then it should have, because God was also doing a work in me, on trust. I am also thankful for a family that new my heart, and we always had forgiveness and unconditional love for one another.
1 Thessalonians 5: 14-18...  Be joyfull, pray continually, and give thanks. Trust me, you begin to see people in a new perspective, through the eyes of God. AND HIS GRACE AND LOVE IS DEEP!  His patience is beyond ours.

Courageous.. Casting Crowns

https://youtu.be/pkM-gDcmJeM

God calls us to swim against the flow. It's not easy and you may feel very alone, but it's the right thing to do. I was reading 2nd kings this morning. From the time I started reading my Bible again, every chapter, there is not one that you will get through without constant disobedience. Only few listened to the voice of God.  Society today is pulling everything downward to its way of running things. Are you being pulled along with it? Like salmon swimming upstream and the fight to get to their destination, i choose to be the few that fight the fight! You will be swimming against the current,  but remember Who has you. Gods desire is for us to be courageous and bold.  Set apart!  Jesus said, only few follow the narrow road. There is no other road that I want to be on, but the one where he is holding my hand.   I believe that we are experiencing the passive wrath of God. Those who refuse to make God their true leader. To make Jesus Lord of their life.  I ask you this, in all of your life time have you ever seen anything like this that has spread  over the whole world.  The Bible tells us to be prepared to give people an answer. God knows that this is my heart's desire.

Open over us... Steffany Gretzinger

If you choose to see God any other way then Holy, then you have made him into your own depraved way of thinking. Roman's 1:18-32 .  These verses make it pretty clear, very clear, of what we are seeing today. Verse 18 starts off by saying.... The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them because God has made it plain to them...... .. So many people live life like this is all there is. Even those who believe in Jesus, turn him into a buffet type of God. They pick and choose what they want to believe, and how they want to live. All I can say, I am not perfect and never will be this side of heaven. But I choose to see HIM as Holy. I open up my heart to Him and ask Him daily to help me in my sinful ways, and thinking. If we open up our hearts to God, he will open up all He is to us. Give him access to your heart and see the  Wonders of his love. Heaven is open over us.

Protector... Kim Walker

https://youtu.be/r_v3i2k6Psc

I've read this Psalm 91, and its been one of my favorites for many years.  But the 4th of July evening it was in action. I really didn't realize it until the next day and i came to my right way of thinking. Because that night when a bottle rocket hit my window, completely making a hole, and glass all in my den, including the chair that God got me out of just in time to get up to get something, i went pretty nuts with the neighbors.
Now if that was a rock or any other thing that made a hole in my window, it would have wound up in my den. Verses 9, 10, and 11..  If you make the most high your dwelling, even the Lord who is my refuge, then no harm will befall you,  no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.... Well He sure did!
Maybe you have never experienced spiritual warfare and the Lord's protection, but i have more times than i probably even know.  But this one was clear as day. If that rocket came completely in my den, it would have finished exploding and caused way more damage than I could possibly imagine. It was laying outside the window on the ground.  Also a lot of other things that must have hit my house that night because there was small holes in my siding .I have always prayed, and will continue to pray, the blood of Jesus's protection over my home and my family.
Every verse of this Psalm is powerful, true, and living...  I will live my life knowing this truth. Verse 1 and 2...  He who dwells in the shelter of the most high will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust...
My protector. Praise You Jesus.

Place of Freedom.. Highlands Worship

Such powerful lyrics. But it is also truth. There is a place of calm. The enemy loves to throw things in their to trip us up, but God never lets go of us, not ever!
" There's a calm that covers me. When I kneel down at your feet. It's a place of healing. It's a place where I find freedom."  Oh yes ,in Jesus alone.
With all that is going on in our world, and the panic on some people's faces, this is a great time to witness where our hope and joy come from. No matter what we go through, God is still on his throne.
There is so much scripture to be found on R all-knowing God. 1st Chronicles chapter 29 verse 11.. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the vict'ry and the majesty , for all that is in the heavens and in the Earth is yours. Yours is the Kingdom O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all."  Revelations chapter 1 verse 8.."  I am the alpha and the omega, says the Lord God,  Who is and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."...  Yes, things come our way that trip us up.  But don't forget we serving mighty God who loves us.
This is something that should make us feel secure. There is nothing like it. No amount of money, or home you live in, or car you drive can compare to it.
There is a place our eyes can't see yet. But as believers we will one day behold it in full brilliance. Are you ready? Do you have a relationship with Jesus? There is no one, or anything that can bring you this peace or wash you clean like our Lord. 2nd Peter chapter 3 verse 14. " So then dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him."

Prophesy Your Promise

I know that I have had many different trials in my life, and I know that as long as I live on this Earth, things will continue to happen that I am not comfortable with, and wish that I didn't have to go through certain things. But I have learned to draw closer to the Lord, rather than letting fear and anxiety totally take me under.
I didn't always have this love relationship with Jesus that I do now. So I can testify to the fact that He is right there with you. His arms and His heart are always open and waiting for us to call out to him.
We also have an enemy that is out to devour us anyway he knows how. And trust me, he knows all your personal buttons. 1 Peter 5:8,  That's why this scripture tells us to be sober minded. Know the promises of God's word, and the lies of the enemy will crumble.
I absolutely love Psalm 23. Verse 5,  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies... I just love that.  I picture myself sitting at a banquet table full of food having a conversation with Jesus and eating. But at the same time I see the enemy prowling around the table trying to get at me with fear, anxiety, or bringing up anything from my past. But he can't get to me unless I allow him. The enemy only has as much hold on us as we allow him.
Then I picture my Jesus standing up with his rod and his staff to comfort me. To remind me of all that He is to me. That He will never leave me or forsake me. Yes ,  this table is in the middle of any battle that will come up in my life. But Jesus already knows the outcome and tells me... Watch the giants fall!!!
So when you only see part of the picture,   prophesy His promises.  Trials will come, but Jesus sits at that table with you. He will restore your soul. Trust him in the process, because he sees the whole outcome !

Beautiful story... The Belonging

Watch "https://youtu.be/iGjNFcfmjFo
I don't know what's holding you through this 2020 year so far, but I know WHO'S holding me. There is no way  the things that I've been through in my life, and continue to go through, that I would be able to get through, without the living spirit of God inside of me.    I know that people say that The Bible was written by man. But they were spirit filled men. I know that there are people now in my life that are on God's stage of suffering, but yet they are able to glorify him, praise him, and not blame him, because they are filled with the spirit of the living God. The Bible's pages may be done and completed.  But the spirit of the living God continues to write his story through our lives for other people to see, that what was written for us thousands of years ago, is to guide us through this world that isn't our home.  Yes there is suffering. But it's nothing that The Bible didn't tell us that we would go through here in satan's world. If you know The Bible, you know that God wins!  You know that you are going to a place with no more suffering and no more tears. This life is just a blip. You don't know when your last day will be. Your last breath. Each day is a gift to live and enjoy. But also to share the truth of God and what Jesus Christ has done and continues to do through our life here. So when you share with someone your story, it is like a chapter in God's book of your life filled with the Holy Spirit and how you got through.   Can you imagine if God allowed The Bible to continue to be written by our stories. There would still be people today saying, oh well that's just written by Kim. No, when I gave my life to Christ I allowed him to write his story for his glory until he takes me home.  I pray that people see the fingerprints of God all through the rest of my life, like I see the fingerprints of God in other people filled with the spirit.  Praise be to God the father through Jesus Christ my Lord Amen

The World needs JESUS

"World Needs Jesus - River Valley Worship" on YouTube
I am so thankful to know the word of God.  When I see the things of this world it's heart breaking, and gut wrenching. But knowing that this is not my home is the only comfort.  This scripture says so much in it you need to read it for yourself. Just knowing that it says that they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless ,God haters, inventing ways to do evil. So I don't look at these people and say, what the heck is wrong with them. God already told me in his word. That's what's wrong with them  . They don't have Jesus.Romans 1:28-32...When our homes are hit by heartbreak
Let Your presence meet us here
When the pain seems overwhelming
We hold onto You
When the streets are torn by chaos
We will be Your hands and feet
When the darkness brings division
May we be Your light
'Cause we know our world needs Jesus
We know that our world needs freedom
So give us eyes to see the hurting and the broken
And let our lives align with every word You say
When the nations ache from violence
We will be Your blessed peace
When the headlines scream injustice
May we shout Your name!
All to you Jesus

Build my life... Hillsong

https://youtu.be/BGYpF-Jrfew

Holy, there is no one like You
There is none beside You
Open up my eyes in wonder
Show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me....

Absolutely beautiful lyrics. Has he opened our eyes in wonder? Is he filling your heart with his love to share it to those around you? To encourage others?  Jesus is our only hope.  Our only solid foundation.    He is the only truth to count on. What he says will happen, and will come to pass. If you don't trust in the power of his word ,than you are trusting in something that is sinking sand.  I am reading in the book of Habakkuk 1: 5-6 " Look at the nation's and watch, and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told .  I am raising up the Babylonians, that ruthless and impetuous people, who swept across the whole Earth to seize dwelling places not their own.".....  Man,  I look at the babylonians like I look at this virus. It is sweeping across the nations and taking lives. It has caused fear in so many people. Just like the babylonians didn't know that they were being used by God to help Judah return to him, I believe this virus is being used for a great purpose. To draw people to God that will show us amazing wonders. If we all would just seek him, and turn from our selfish ways our eyes would be opened.  This is such an awesome book in The Bible of a conversation  between Habakkuk and God answering him.   We too can find a lot of answers to our questions in God's word.  Nothing that we go through is beyond God's control. God may use whatever he wants to, to correct his creation. Who are we to complain what rod God uses on us.  Going on to chapter 2 and reading verse 20. " But the Lord is in his holy temple, let all the Earth be silent before Him."  . ..Really seems like that's the way it is right now. There is nothing we can do but trust that God's plan is better than what we could even imagine through this. His discipline , just like a parent's discipline to their children, is always for the best whether we like it or not. We truly need to be still.  Just like habbakuk did not ask to escape from the discipline, but he accepted the truth that Judah needed to learn a lesson.  Just look how clean everything is becoming. The air, the water.  Change is happening for the better. Ask God to help us change for the better and his good purposes.

Be Still. Hillsong

Watch "Be Still - Hillsong Worship" on YouTube
https://youtu.be/H7pJb49vVQY

Since the beginning of this virus , I could never find myself to say, "God please take it away." But I do say, "Lord, please protect us by the covering of the precious blood of your son.  Not our will, but your will God. Whatever you are trying to show the world."  Jesus never prayed to take the cup of suffering away. He prayed for his father's will to be done. There's not any of us that likes this cup, this virus. But what is God speaking to us personally. If this hasn't humbled you by now, I don't know what will. There is no doubt in my mind or heart that God is allowing this to continue for His purpose. Whatever that may be. For those who are never still enough to know that he is God. For those who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ, but live however they choose.  For those who want God only for what he can do, and not for who He is, and what he has already done for us.  "I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the Earth." Psalm 46 is a beautiful short Psalm. But packed with truth!  Is He your refuge and strength? Is He your ever present help in this time of trouble?   As this virus still roars, and its end is uncertain.  Just like a snake. It always raises its ugly head throughout  history, and it will again in another way. Do you only think about when your unemployment check is going to come in? Or do you think about , when will things get normal?  I believe that God is saying exactly what his word says here. " Come and see the works of the Lord, the desolations he has brought on the Earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the Earth, he breaks the bow and shatters the spear, he Burns the Shields with fire. Be still and know that I am God".......We all need to search deep within ourselves. What is your everything?

Love is war.... Hillsong

No matter what war you may be in, if you turn your eyes to see His face , all your fears will surrender....

Some things are so worth fighting for, and all that Jesus is to me is one of them.

His love is truly my companion. Being a widow, but I never feel alone. It's very hard to explain that, or for me to truly understand it. When I turn my heart to Jesus every morning and throughout my day, all my human feelings surrender. I see things from another prospective, and it's beautiful!

Jesus came to this earth to show us the love of His Father, and that love won the battle over my soul. He took on the fight with Satan for all of us and Victory is His. If you are a believer, you sit in victory with Him, Colossians 3:1-2... Ephesians 2:6.

So now I fight to follow Him. Sometimes it can be hard to get up in the morning before work to spend that precious time with Him, but it is so worth it. It prepares you for the day and anything you will face. It can be hard to stand for what you believe and be made fun of. But I love what the word of God says about that. 2 Peter 3: 3-4, .."mockers will come with their mocking"... So it's not a surprise to me anymore. Some people just don't want Him, and that breaks my heart, but not half as much as it breaks His.

Jesus was lead to the slaughter for all of us, Isaiah 53:7, Acts 8:32. All I know is He has won it all! I know He took the fight and won the war over my soul. I know He's coming again and we who believe will reign with Him. But those who disown Him, He will also disown, 2 Timothy 2:12.

2 Peter 3: 9, God will never give up on anyone. He's not willing to loose anyone. It doesn't matter what we've done. Just read for yourself what His blood can do, Isaiah 1:16-20. I pray you stop resisting!

My Desire..... Anthony Evans

Wow, what beautiful words to say to the "ONE" we are in love with!!

When I think of the bible being our love letter from God, these lyrics are beautiful love worship to Him. We are His hearts desire. He should be ours before and above anything. To desire to know Him more and more throughout our time on earth.

Some people say, "well God has never shown Himself to me." I usually say, "well did you wake up this morning with breath? Then He just showed Himself." Usually I ask them if they are seeking Him at all in His word. Or maybe you just call on Him when you need something. Well that's not loving Him, or seeking Him with your whole heart.

Look what He tells us in His word: Proverbs 8:17, "I love those who love me, and those who seek Me find Me."  Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek Me and find Me when you seek me with all your heart." Matthew 7:7, "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be open to you."

Like any love relationship, you usually make a great effort to let that person know how much they mean to you. So if you love Jesus like you say you do, then passionately chase after Him.

1 John 2: 2, God already did everything He could for us. To live life here, and then for all eternity. John 3:16, He gave us His One and only Son. It's our own choice to receive and believe this truth. Then, and only then, we become a child of God, John 1: 12-13. Then we have continued life here to tell others about Him. Not just to skate by till our time is up. We are called to do a work here for the Kingdom. Ephesians 2:10, "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago."

I really didn't understand this when I first became a follower of Jesus. But the more I seek Him, the more I want of Him.

As it is (In Heaven)... Hillsong

What comfort I find in the opening lyrics of this song.... "Whether now or then, death is not my end. I know heaven waits for me." So as I live on this side of heaven, I say, "yes Lord, as it is in heaven, so let it be in me." That's when you really experience true life, and fear subsides because you know God has full control of your life.
Philippians 3:20-21, "But our citizenship is in heaven." Our lowly bodies will one day be transformed to be like Jesus when we go home for all eternity. This is not our home. We live up there, we merely live down here for a brief time to complete the work God has prepared, and entrusted to us in advance to do, Ephesians 2:10. But if we don't make it a determined decision to grow spiritually, we will never know all the secret things God has for us who put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Here are some great scriptures on this truth..... 1 Corinthians 2: 9-10, Ephesians 1: 9-10, Colossians 1: 26, John 15: 15, Jeremiah 33:3. I hope you look them up.

So while we are waiting for this blip of time to be done here, to go spend eternity with our Lord, what are we doing for the kingdom? Are we telling people about Jesus and the hope that we have found? Is He our number 1? All of us will face judgement one day.  So my prayers are that of Paul's prayers, and they are life changing if we choose to let it.... Ephesians 1:17-19, Ephesians 3: 16-19, Philippians 1:9-11, Colossians 1:9-12. Please look them up.

Jesus loves all of us. He died for all of creation. But all of us are not His children. You have to choose Him for yourself, John 1:12. Matthew 7:7-8. Are you seeking? Are you knocking? Will you invite Him in? I made that choice one day and I have never been the same. I thought I was living, but now I'm really living!!! Oh, and His grace will never fail you.
So while I'm waiting to go eternally home, I'm not really waiting. I know heaven lives in me. Thank you Jesus.

For His glory always

Take Courage... Kristene DiMarco

We all go through seasons in life. Some good, some bad. Change of seasons never end as long as we are alive. If we don't stop and slow down, spend time in Gods word, we wont hear the things He is trying to speak to us. Sometimes things are allowed to come into our lives that will help us to slow down. Then if you choose, you can get to know the One Who holds everything together, Colossians 1:17. The One Who calls each star by name, Psalm 147:4. So take courage, get close to Him. You will realize He is in the waiting with you.

We may be in what we think is an impossible situation. Or maybe something so heartbreaking you can barely catch your breath.  Well 2020 has started off that way for many who are very dear to me. Some are battling cancer. Some waiting for test results. Some with children who were born with challenges. Loss of a job. Loss of loved one. The list goes on....

I don't know how anyone can do life without God. I can barely do it with Him at times to be honest. But you know what? Even Jesus wept, John 11:35. He will reveal what's to come in His timing. It's the waiting that just seems impossible at times. I've screamed out many times in my life, "where are You God?" But because I am always seeking Him, He answers me quickly by His Living Word. Matthew 28:20, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of age." Jesus is right there in the waiting of whatever you are going through. You may not think He is, but continue to draw near to Him and you will realize that He is. Your courage to keep pressing on will increase. Your hope will arise.

I will end with one of my favorite verses, and I hope it encourages you: Hebrews 4: 14-16
"So then, we must cling to the faith to all we know to be true. For we have a magnificent King Priest, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who rose into the heavenly realm for us, and now sympathizes with us in our frailty. He understands humanity, for as a Man, our magnificent King Priest was tempted in every way just as we are, and conquered sin. So now we come...….to receive mercy's kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness."

So be encouraged

Everything.... Lauren Daigle

Matthew 6:25-34.... How many times in these verses Jesus tells us "do not worry" and yet in our humanness we do. I especially love verse 34... " do not worry about tomorrow.... each day has enough trouble of it's own." That is such truth. Worrying only steals every minute that we are in it, and we will never get those minutes, or hours, or days back. It will make you physically sick in time. It also doesn't change anything. It's useless energy that drains everything out of you. The enemy knows this very well. It all starts in the mind, and that is the only place he can attack. So learn to fight back with the Word of God.

From the time of salvation, when you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, we became One with Him. In everything! That was even His prayer to His Father in John 17: 20-23. The enemy has nothing on us unless we let him. The bible tells us we have the mind of Christ, 1 Corinthians 2: 16. That's powerful stuff! 1 Corinthians 2: 9-12, Powerful verses for a child of God. He's given us EVERYTHING! The Spirit Who is from God! When we can't see our way, He leads us. When we can't stand, He'll carry us. When we feel lost, He'll find us. When we feel weak, He is mighty. He's EVERYTHING we need!

I pray we realize how powerful Our God is, and how defeated the enemy is. Romans 8: 31-39,Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Not even death. Read those verses for yourself, and may they be magnified to enlighten you, from the top of your head, to the bottom of your feet. If you have confessed your need for a Savior, Jesus, you are a child of the King!

I'm Listening.... Chris McClarney

Well, Happy New Year everyone. I haven't blogged since July due to surgeries I had to have done. But God is great, and does all things perfectly in His timing. I have been in such great quiet moments with Him during this time. He has a beautiful way of quieting our hearts to feel His presence and listen. Not sure why I haven't blogged. But I know it's time now, I listened. I guess He wanted me to feed myself for a while, and now share and encourage once again, how great our God is.

I actually started reading the bible over again. But this time really digesting the nuggets. Sometimes in my reading of the Old Testament, I asked God, "what is the point of some of this. I find it boring?" I mean Old Testament, some of it really is. I know I might as well be honest with God. He knows what I was thinking anyway. But there really are nuggets, and He will reveal them to you. So don't skip over thing like I did the first time.

One thing I know for sure is, the Israelites really listened to every detail of how, and what, God wanted done. EVERY DETAIL! Not like us today. We pick and choose what we want to hear. Taking the precious grace of our Savior for granted. Look at the hot mess this world is in today. Oh, they also complained a lot. Like we do today. Even after God has continually showed them that He was with them, and for them, in everything. Like He is with us today. We are so far from listening to a Holy God, our creator, the One who gave us life!

His ways are so much higher than ours. He knows everything we need, and everything we are going through. NOTHING goes unseen by Him.
So when He speaks through His LIVING Word, or through a Pastor, or another true follower of Jesus, I don't want to miss one word, or make excuses for not listening. We all need to grow up. We never arrive, but we can choose to grow. I believe that is why so many times Jesus has said.... "He who has an ear, let him hear."

Are you listening? EVERYTHING HE SAYS IS TRULY LIFE!

For His glory always..
Kim D
