Hebrews 12: 25-29

 Our God is an all consuming fire. He is sovereign, and everything that happens is for his purpose, whether we understand it or not. He shakes the Earth and the heavens.  We are all feeling it. The whole world. God is truly speaking to us. 

 Let them know that You, whose name is Lord, that you alone are the most high over all the Earth. Psalm 84 verse 18.

You read Job 37. It's eye opening to see that God controls EVERYTHING! Even the crazy weather.  The direction in which the wind blows. He says to the snow, fall to the Earth.  So when I think of this virus, the crazy freezing weather in Texas, God allows it all for his purpose.

Isaiah 55, beautiful chapter, filled with what I call, golden nuggets.  Verse 3, give ear and come to me, hear me, that your soul may live. Verse 6, seek the Lord while he may be found, call on him while he is near.  Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God,  for He will freely pardon.... ..We have to be willing to seek him and come to repentance. Isaiah 35: 8,  We find God on the highway of holiness. 

Psalm 103: 7-13, .  The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbour his anger forever, he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our sins....  

How our God-made it so simple for us, but so hard for him. He gave us his son, Jesus Christ, who took our sins to the cross. He paid the price so we wouldn't have to. Thank him for this unbelievable, undeserving love. 

God is so good, and more than patient with us all.

 So much truth in the lyrics of this song. I absolutely love this journey with the Lord here on Earth even though fear and anxiety rises its head at times. But when you step out into what his word says, and believe it with all your heart, only that perfect love can drive out all fear. 1 John 5:10,  There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. Not that it won't rise up. Because we live in a world that constantly throws things at us. While we are here on this Earth,  God is continually creating the image of Jesus in us, while the enemy does his part of tormenting us. This Spiritual warfare is REAL! BUT the love of our great God for us is greater!  John 3:16-21. This settled everything for those of us who believe.  Some people stop reading this scripture after verse 16. Please read on  to verse 21.  This life is a vapor. Live loud for the love that gave Himself for us. John 15:13. 

We have the truth in the word of God to throw back at the lies of the enemy.   Fighting the lies that rise up with the word of God has totally changed my prayer life.

 This writing is inspired by the Ferguson family who has just experienced a mother of 3, a wife, a daughter, and her battle with cancer,  and her victory over death.   Like I always say, even though we as believers know where our loved ones are going, the only sting is to us as we heal their loss.

 Following their journey, as they posted so often, has inspired not only me, but many. All through their journey they have brought total glory to God.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57 Oh death, where is your sting? Oh grave where is your victory?

Absolutely love this truth. For those of us who believe, death here is just the beginning of eternal life. 

Luke 24:5, Why are you looking for the living among the dead? You see, true life awaits us.  

Heaven collided with Earth for our salvation, and heaven will collide with Earth at our death to take belivers home.

 If you haven't accepted Jesus Christ in your heart as your saviour, even while you are here on Earth you truly will never know true peace and joy. Before I came into a relationship with Jesus, I only had religion. 2 totally different things.

 When you give your life to Christ, he makes his home within you and takes you through journeys you never thought you would ever be able to get through.  There is nothing that you will ever go through that he hasn't gone through himself. 

 All I know for sure is, if I didn't have his living spirit within me I wouldn't want to be here.  I look back at things I have been through myself and say, God I know it was you that got me through. I will live the rest of my life, knowing that this perfect love that is within me, will never forsake me.

 Sometimes thoughts want to creep into our minds and plant themselves there. This is when we have to know the word of God, and the promises of God,and that they hold true. This is why I love the living active Word of God and seeking Him daily.

 It's knowing that the Word is not just the word, but the Word became flesh and lives inside me. Knowing and understanding this is a big deal, John 1: 1-14....  I love the prayer of Jesus, and us being one with Him and the Father, John 17: 15-21.... Also knowing we have the mind of Christ, 1 Corinthians 2: 14-16. So knowing this, one of my favourite prayers is asking God, and asking Him by His Word,  to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Him, 2 Corinthians 10:5. 

 Knowing God's word, and falling back on his promises, rushes in that perfect peace and drives out all fear, Psalm 35:4. 

He truly is, and has always been, my Prince of peace. 

I pray if you don't have a relationship with Jesus, just ask Him to come into your heart and make His home.  He will take care of cleaning up the mess. All He wants is to be welcomed in.
