Stones.. Kim Walker

 https://youtu.be/y6WnMuoZYOg

This song just gets me deeply. I have dear friends who are battling cancer, and some are waiting for biopsies to come back. I call that a desert. Not a place we want to be.

Even though they are in the toughest season of their life, they are loving on Jesus. Talking about, how He's got them. They feel His presence,  and are clinging to Him with every ounce of hope.  While some of their family members don't even want to hear about God. Yet they continue anyway. Oh, how they inspire me.  Just to see the living God inside them.
Luke 19:38-40," Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!" "I tell you"  he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."

I love how Jeremiah 20: 9 puts it. "...His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in, indeed, I cannot."
I love that.   When you spend time in His word to really get to know Him, you can't hold it in. I see how my friends proclaim His word, even in their suffering.  Even not knowing the end. But one thing they do know, is where they are going.  They tell me, "whatever the end is, I win anyway!" Wow! Only the living God inside you can speak like that!

In the desert, or on the mountain top, we were made to testify. GOD'S GOT THIS! My friends even got me this sticker to put on my car like they have.  Dedicated to you my dear neighbour and sister in Christ.

Thank You Jesus

Highlands.... Hillsong United

 https://youtu.be/mkbxP0rxt6E

I just love the lyrics of this song. Also how It goes so well with Psalm 143. This was a prayer of David's hopelessness and depression. But His prayer fit with what he knew was consistent with God's character.

I don't know what enemy you face. But I know that David felt crushed, in the darkness. His spirit grew faint within him, and his heart was dismayed, verses3-4.
But then look at vs 5 and 6. "I remember the days of long ago, I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done."  He knew God!

We have an advantage even more than David. We have the gift of the Holy Spirit alive in us. Ask Him to awaken our minds DAILY!

These pitfalls will happen in our life.  We wish that God would answer us quickly, but sometimes it doesn't happen as soon as we want it. But He will.  This process of sanctification is lifelong. John 17:17-20. Take note of verse 20. Jesus says" For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified."

Definition of sanctification:
the action or process of being freed from sin or purified.
"the process of sanctification takes deliberate action on our part"

How well do we know Him? Are we searching the scriptures daily.  In hot pursuit after God's heart, and knowing His unfailing character. We have a part in this love relationship.

I love the confidence in God that David states in verses 10-12. " Teach me to do your will, for you are my God, may your good spirit lead me on level ground. For your name's sake, O Lord, preserve my life, in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble. In your unfailing love, silence my enemies"....

That's our God. I pray you know Him in the valleys and mountain tops. He's no less God within the shadows. He will silence the lies.

"So I will praise you on the mountain, and I will praise you when the mountains in my way. Your the summit where my feet are. So I will praise You in the valley all the same."

If i have You... Vertical Worship

 https://youtu.be/ITus_KbaUoE

The lyrics of this song are so simple and true. More and more as I grow in my love relationship with Jesus,  and things of this world aren't at all like they use to be,  it's my truth. If I have Him, I have everything.

How I miss what wasn't long ago. Especially my family Cruises.  But they seem to be a long way away. We were blessed to do 1 at least once a year. For me, this time has given me more time to appreciate the simple things in life.

I love Matthew 6:34, " Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." If that isn't the truth.

There are so many things I don't understand. But I keep seeking God's direction in all things regardless of how I feel. Proverbs 3: 5-7, " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and shun evil." That scripture has become more and more powerful to me as we go through all this craziness.  The control and evil are very clearly being put before our eyes. OPEN THEM!

I pray that we who are His, will find all we need in Jesus. Psalm 142: 5, " I cry to you, O Lord. I say, "You are my refuge", my portion in the land of the living." Because truly, if you have the fullness of Him, you have everything.

Find my peace... Naomi Raine

 https://youtu.be/9RmtULuRSSM

No other help I know, but Jesus. Oh that Name. I don't know about you, but it brings me a peace just saying His Name.

My emotions, and my thoughts can be like a roller coaster somedays. I know when it's happening and I call to Jesus immediately. The enemy can only sow a thought.  It's what I do with that thought that makes all the difference. So I do as His word says. I submit it to Jesus,  2 Corinthians 10:5.

Jesus tells us in Luke 22: 31-34, that the enemy had to ask Jesus to sift Peter as wheat, and he does the same with us. Will our faith remain strong? I have a dear sister in Christ who has helped me to understand trusting Jesus. Yes, I can say I trust Him. But what I really need, is to ask Him to help me trust Him. That made a great difference to me and my prayer life.

There may be complete craziness going on in our world right now, and maybe in your personal life.  One thing you can be sure about, is God never changes, and never looses control. The enemy is on God's leash and can only go so far.

There are times that I have called out to God and he didn't answer the way I would have chosen. But in the steady search for wanting only more of Him. I have found that he is always faithful. He will never let me go.

Anchor.... Hillsong Worship

 https://youtu.be/3LLoemoQX4c

Reading Psalm 115: 7.. Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord..
Along with Isaiah 40: 3-5..  A voice of one calling in the desert, prepare the way for the Lord, make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. Every Valley raised up every mountain Hill made low, the rough ground shall become level... And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it..
I just love this.  For close to a year now, we have been experiencing things that I don't believe we have ever experienced before, world wide.. There is truly a shaking going on.
Look at Hebrews 12: 25-28  "See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks..... At that time his voice shook the Earth..... I will shake not only the Earth but also the heavens."..
I believe, for the glory of the Lord to be revealed this has to happen, and we have to repent and humble ourselves and make His path level.  Believers need to become one with Him in spirit and stop all this division among each other.  That was the prayer of Jesus before he was crucified. John 17: 15-23. This is the only hope for revival.
God's word is unfailing.  His promise to us who believe is unshakable.  No matter what happens here, our future is built on a solid foundation that cannot be destroyed.  So build your life on Jesus Christ and his unshakable Kingdom.

Phil Wickham The battle belongs..

 https://youtu.be/qtvQNzPHn-w

"When I fight I'll fight on my knees With my hands lifted high. Oh God the battle belongs to You."
If that isn't a hard truth learned, and still learning. But truly, there is no other way. We can kick and scream, but it doesn't change one thing in our story. There will be many different seasons in our lives. Some that we love. Some that come with a big, WHY GOD! And that's ok. He understands all our fears. Lay them at His feet. Talk to Him about them. Be totally open. He knows it anyway. So you might as well tell Him.  He will begin to shine in the shadows of them.  Ecclesiasties 7:14." When times are good, be happy, but when times are bad, consider, God has made the one as well as the other."
God allows both good times and bad times to come to everyone. He blends them in our lives in such a way that we can't predict the future or count on human wisdom and power. He tells us in Psalm 46, "Be still, and know that I am God." The hardest part is being still.
Through all the seasons, times of joy, times of fear, times of sorrow, in the waiting, one thing for sure is, He is with us. His presence is within, and all around us. The more we talk to Him, open about everything, giving Him thanks for being with us in that season,  we begin to feel that wonderful promise. Psalm 46 "God is our refuge and strength,  an EVER PRESENT help in times of trouble.....  The Lord Almighty is with us, the God of Jacob is our fortress."

You will be my song.. Red Rock Worship

 https://youtu.be/w3KlMfWsytk

Have you ever had someone ask you, what are you going to do about that situation? What are you going to say,  and when?
This has been a lifelong lesson for me.  So I hope that I can help you to where I am at now,  and it is such a peaceful place.

When you wait on God in prayer,  and your brothers and sisters are praying for you, it's perfect.  When you move, or even speak before He directs, it will be a mess.  I've been there several times in my life.  I experienced more than I would have asked for.  Definitely like the Isrealites, stubborn and stiff neck. 40 years, or more,  around the same stupid mountain.

He is a good Father who has ALL THE ANSWERS to any questions or doubts. I have LEARNED to worship Him in the waiting, rather than complaining.  Do I have this down? Not all the time. But my good Father brings me back.

So this is truly my life song. I will lift my eyes to the only One who has all the answers to my life long questions. He is closer than you know. He is your anchor for your whole life. He is forever faithful to the story He has already written about your life.

For His Glory always
