Take my life holiness.. Scott Underwood

 https://youtu.be/uHeEytocJVY

Haven't heard this song in so long. The truth of the lyrics are so good. I love when songs are a prayer from the heart.
When reading Ezekiel 2: 1-8, and how God uses us imperfect beings in His story.  God called Ezekiel son of man, emphasising the distance between them. Yet God chooses to place within us his life and breath and to ask us to serve him.
When God saw Ezekiels open and obedient attitude, he filled him with his spirit and gave him power for the job ahead. God doesn't expect us to understand everything about him, but to be willing and obedient servants, faithful to what we know is true and right.
Isaiah and Jeremiah were also great prophets, who prophesied with little positive response.   God's truth does not depend on how people respond. God will not judge us for how well others respond to our faith, but for how faithful we have been. God always gives us the strength to accomplish what he asks us to do.
I am so thankful to be His. I don't serve out of any duty. I serve because I love Him so.

Let there be Light... Hillsong

 https://youtu.be/9ZX4i3Z_ZyM

Listening to a message yesterday, and rereading this scripture, speaks very clearly.  Philippians 2:14-16....  It is so clear, and tells us to do everything without complaining or arguing.  That we would be without fault in a crooked and depraved generation. For us to shine like stars in the universe as we hold out the word of life.

We could see that 2000 years ago, how the apostle's saw that it was a crooked and a depraved generation then.  Fast forward, we could see that it's not any better now. If anything, it's worse. But we are told what to do. Not to complain and argue. Romans 8: 30, To be set apart for His use. To shine like stars. Hold out the word of life, Jesus Christ.

Belief in Jesus Christ should unite us who trust him. If we are always complaining and arguing like everyone else, we lack the unifying power of Jesus Christ. We don't look any different than the ones complaining. Why would they be attracked to Jesus if we look and sound no different.   So just like my little granddaughter sang to me her new song that she learned in church, I say,  " This little light of mine. I'm gonna let it shine.  Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine."
Thank you my family, for raising my grandchildren in the way they should go. It's not getting any easier. If you don't teach them God's way,  the world will teach them the crooked depraved way.

Living Proff.... Steffany Gretzinger

 https://youtu.be/r0qF65KdTn4

Reading Jeremiah 23. Focusing on verse 29. " Is not my word like fire", declares the Lord, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?"......

I absolutely love this. I remember many years ago, God put people in my life to tell me about Jesus, and the difference between a love relationship with his Son, not just religion and going to church.  When I started seeking him in his Word, it was truly like fire. Breaking my heart of stone into pieces.  No one can tell me that the word of God isn't alive and active. I am living proof.

If you have never put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Repenting of your sins, and truly wanting to know him better. There's no better day than that.  I pray that this Easter will be something very special to you.  Then you will become that living proof. A walking testimony of what he has done in your life.
