Mighty cross.. Elevation Worship

 https://youtu.be/yI_SQrRUOt0

Some have said, "how do I know I'm saved? I don't feel different.
First, It's not a feeling. It's a change.

I can only answer by what the word of God tells us, and there are many answers there to seek. They are very clear. One being, you are changed. Your not the same person.
John 7: 37-39. Jesus said, "Whoever believes in me, as the scripture said, streams of living water will flow from within him.".... This scripture alone says alot. What is flowing from within us? Do we show any changes in our language, or our actions? Do we have love and compassion for others, and forgiveness to those who have done us wrong?
Ephesians 4: 17-32, and chapter 5:1-21. These scriptures should really have us look in the mirror and ask Jesus to do a heart check. Our old self should most definitely be fading away.
If we are one who says we believe, and Amen to things, yet remain unchanged, then we really need to question ourselves.
It's much to serious a thing to have any doubt at all.
The cross of Jesus Christ is the very reason we are alive, and will have life for all eternity. This life isn't all there is.
Romans 8: 6-11. There is so much said in these scriptures. But one verse that gets straight to my heart is, " But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." .. Me, you, unworthy, and he still went to the cross for us. So don't just be one who says you believe, change! We have been given this precious life to make a difference for the kingdom.
It's one thing to say that you believe. But it's another thing to experience the resurrection power of the cross, and the blood of Jesus Christ.
You don't know what to wear New Year? Put on a new self, and never take it off.

Joy to the world.. From The Chosen

 https://youtu.be/3vnB8xAqzjE

As I was taking the tree down, and all the lights off the tree, a thought came in my head.  I couldn't wait for all the beautiful lights of Christmas to be turned on in my house, and all around the neighbourhood. It truly does light up the darkness, and puts a joy inside when you see all the pretty decorations.
Most of us know that Christmas is more than lights and decorations. It's the light that came into this dark world, Jesus Christ.  He is truly the joy to my soul. He is my Truth to everything. He is the light and joy of this world. There is a day coming that He will reign forever and ever.
The very 1st few verses in Genesis chapter 1, tells us that the Earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the whole surface of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, let there be light......This Light that separated the light from the darkness was the spirit of God.  The light of the Sun and the moon and the stars came after the first Light, verse 14.
My prayer is that as we all take our decorations down, we continue to keep Jesus Christ high and lifted up. Shining in the light of His glory. If we are hoping for 2022 to be different, we need to keep Him first. We need to change. The ones who follow Him and believe. The world is searching for answers, and we should be prepared to give it. Don't treat the Holy God like a Genie. Only wanting him when we want change, and when things are looking really bad.  The ones who follow the dark side do what they do, and it really shouldn't surprise us. But the ones who walk in the light, as he is in the light, need to put Him in His rightful place. High and lifted up.

Resurrender.... Hillsong

 https://youtu.be/Lmty4UIXCy4

Reading Exodus 19, focusing on verse 22.   "Even the priest, who approached the Lord, must consecrate themselves, or the Lord will break out against them"........
What then is the difference between salvation and consecration? Salvation is coming to Christ; consecration is the process of daily following after Him.
Wow, what does that say to us when the time comes, that either our time is up here, or Jesus's coming again.  Either way, by stating that He will break out against them, the Lord was saying that He would destroy anyone who was not fully consecrated and ready to meet Him. The sacrifice of Jesus,  His suffering for our sins, needs to be taken very seriously!
Your calling, we're coming. Not walking, we're running.
God we need resurrender.

Worthy Worthy... Vertical Worship

 https://youtu.be/wk-fj6JpHEw

Well, another year almost gone. I don't know what it is, but the older I get, time is going by so much quicker. I feel like I have to try and squeeze so much in. I don't want to have any regrets.
One thing I know I will never have any regret about is, my hunger and thirst to know more of God and His plan for my life. Also that I love encouraging others to do the same. Because really, that's what this life is all about. Our time here is short. Eternity is unending time. Try to wrap your head around that one. No scholar of this world could even grasp an inch of such infinity.
So many I know didn't make it through this year. But everyone that I know personally, knew the Lord and where they were going. Do you?
Every day is a gift. Do you really know Jesus, and why He came? That He died for our sins. That if we believe, and accept this truth, we will be with Him and our loved ones who believed forever and ever. Will you be ready when that trumpet sounds?
1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17.

"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord."

This truth is no longer a mystery to us. It's been explained throughout the scriptures, and a beautiful truth it is.

Everything wrong with us will change in a twinkling of an eye, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53. We will be like Him! Oh my precious Jesus. What a day that will be, 1 John 3: 2-3.

Oh how I pray you search the scriptures and find peace in knowing that when our loved ones die, they are the ones truly living.

Desperate for You.. Red Rock Worship

 https://youtu.be/bUCVJFwwns8

Are you just curious about Jesus, or are you desperate to touch Him? Do you desire to take time and sit at His feet? Or is life just to busy?
These 3 stories really speak clearly of what our Lord desires of us, and is certainly worthy of it.
Luke 7: 44-47... This story tells of the grateful prostitute, and not the stingy religious leader. She lavished tears on the feet of Jesus. She wiped them with her hair. She hadn't stopped kissing the feet of Jesus. Then she poured expensive perfume on His feet. She showed her love and gratitude for what Christ had done for her.
Luke 9: 43-48.. This is the story of a woman who has been bleeding for 12 years. She was not just curious about Jesus, she was desperate to touch Him. What a difference there is between the crowds that are curious about Jesus. Many people today are familiar with Jesus, but nothing in their lives is changed or bettered by this acquaintance. It is only through a relationship, and faith in Jesus, that releases God's healing power.
Luke 10: 38-41.. This is the story of Mary and Martha who both loved Jesus. They were both serving Jesus, but in a different way. Martha was busy doing things, while Mary was sitting at the feet of Jesus. I can only imagine the stories that Jesus was telling her. We truly need to set our priorities correct when it comes to serving Jesus. The time with Him is more important than all the doing.
Become desperate for your time with Jesus. Set your alarm clock a little earlier before work to have this time. Those who hunger and thirst for Jesus will be filled!

How great is the love. Vertical Worship

 https://youtu.be/CqcWrSh0LZI

Oh how great His love is. He came to this world, left His throne in heaven, to be with us. To show us the way in this crazy world. To lead us back to everlasting life, and bring as many as we can with us.

Isaiah 9:6, " For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given"....
John 1: 1-5 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."... It really can't get any clearer than that. But what really blows my mind as you continue to read these verses, He came to the very realm that He created. Verse 3, "Through him all things were made, without him nothing was made that has been made." Verse 14, " The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us."
Jesus came as a sacrifice for all sins, and his death satisfied God's requirements for the removal of sin. Jesus is God's only unique son. Jesus is one of a kind, and enjoys a relationship with God unlike all of us who are called, children of God if we receive, and believe this truth, verse 12.
I don't know about you, but I can't stop thanking Him! I thank Him for the way He loves me. I thank Him for the way He created me. Giving me a chance at this life. Giving me a purpose. I have been ransomed, rescued, purchased. With the price of His own blood.
"Jesus, faithful King. With a grateful heart I sing. How great is the love of my savior."
I pray this season you realize the reason.
