Mighty cross.. Elevation Worship

 https://youtu.be/yI_SQrRUOt0

Some have said, "how do I know I'm saved? I don't feel different.
First, It's not a feeling. It's a change.

I can only answer by what the word of God tells us, and there are many answers there to seek. They are very clear. One being, you are changed. Your not the same person.
John 7: 37-39. Jesus said, "Whoever believes in me, as the scripture said, streams of living water will flow from within him.".... This scripture alone says alot. What is flowing from within us? Do we show any changes in our language, or our actions? Do we have love and compassion for others, and forgiveness to those who have done us wrong?
Ephesians 4: 17-32, and chapter 5:1-21. These scriptures should really have us look in the mirror and ask Jesus to do a heart check. Our old self should most definitely be fading away.
If we are one who says we believe, and Amen to things, yet remain unchanged, then we really need to question ourselves.
It's much to serious a thing to have any doubt at all.
The cross of Jesus Christ is the very reason we are alive, and will have life for all eternity. This life isn't all there is.
Romans 8: 6-11. There is so much said in these scriptures. But one verse that gets straight to my heart is, " But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." .. Me, you, unworthy, and he still went to the cross for us. So don't just be one who says you believe, change! We have been given this precious life to make a difference for the kingdom.
It's one thing to say that you believe. But it's another thing to experience the resurrection power of the cross, and the blood of Jesus Christ.
You don't know what to wear New Year? Put on a new self, and never take it off.

Joy to the world.. From The Chosen

 https://youtu.be/3vnB8xAqzjE

As I was taking the tree down, and all the lights off the tree, a thought came in my head.  I couldn't wait for all the beautiful lights of Christmas to be turned on in my house, and all around the neighbourhood. It truly does light up the darkness, and puts a joy inside when you see all the pretty decorations.
Most of us know that Christmas is more than lights and decorations. It's the light that came into this dark world, Jesus Christ.  He is truly the joy to my soul. He is my Truth to everything. He is the light and joy of this world. There is a day coming that He will reign forever and ever.
The very 1st few verses in Genesis chapter 1, tells us that the Earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the whole surface of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, let there be light......This Light that separated the light from the darkness was the spirit of God.  The light of the Sun and the moon and the stars came after the first Light, verse 14.
My prayer is that as we all take our decorations down, we continue to keep Jesus Christ high and lifted up. Shining in the light of His glory. If we are hoping for 2022 to be different, we need to keep Him first. We need to change. The ones who follow Him and believe. The world is searching for answers, and we should be prepared to give it. Don't treat the Holy God like a Genie. Only wanting him when we want change, and when things are looking really bad.  The ones who follow the dark side do what they do, and it really shouldn't surprise us. But the ones who walk in the light, as he is in the light, need to put Him in His rightful place. High and lifted up.

Resurrender.... Hillsong

 https://youtu.be/Lmty4UIXCy4

Reading Exodus 19, focusing on verse 22.   "Even the priest, who approached the Lord, must consecrate themselves, or the Lord will break out against them"........
What then is the difference between salvation and consecration? Salvation is coming to Christ; consecration is the process of daily following after Him.
Wow, what does that say to us when the time comes, that either our time is up here, or Jesus's coming again.  Either way, by stating that He will break out against them, the Lord was saying that He would destroy anyone who was not fully consecrated and ready to meet Him. The sacrifice of Jesus,  His suffering for our sins, needs to be taken very seriously!
Your calling, we're coming. Not walking, we're running.
God we need resurrender.

Worthy Worthy... Vertical Worship

 https://youtu.be/wk-fj6JpHEw

Well, another year almost gone. I don't know what it is, but the older I get, time is going by so much quicker. I feel like I have to try and squeeze so much in. I don't want to have any regrets.
One thing I know I will never have any regret about is, my hunger and thirst to know more of God and His plan for my life. Also that I love encouraging others to do the same. Because really, that's what this life is all about. Our time here is short. Eternity is unending time. Try to wrap your head around that one. No scholar of this world could even grasp an inch of such infinity.
So many I know didn't make it through this year. But everyone that I know personally, knew the Lord and where they were going. Do you?
Every day is a gift. Do you really know Jesus, and why He came? That He died for our sins. That if we believe, and accept this truth, we will be with Him and our loved ones who believed forever and ever. Will you be ready when that trumpet sounds?
1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17.

"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord."

This truth is no longer a mystery to us. It's been explained throughout the scriptures, and a beautiful truth it is.

Everything wrong with us will change in a twinkling of an eye, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53. We will be like Him! Oh my precious Jesus. What a day that will be, 1 John 3: 2-3.

Oh how I pray you search the scriptures and find peace in knowing that when our loved ones die, they are the ones truly living.

Desperate for You.. Red Rock Worship

 https://youtu.be/bUCVJFwwns8

Are you just curious about Jesus, or are you desperate to touch Him? Do you desire to take time and sit at His feet? Or is life just to busy?
These 3 stories really speak clearly of what our Lord desires of us, and is certainly worthy of it.
Luke 7: 44-47... This story tells of the grateful prostitute, and not the stingy religious leader. She lavished tears on the feet of Jesus. She wiped them with her hair. She hadn't stopped kissing the feet of Jesus. Then she poured expensive perfume on His feet. She showed her love and gratitude for what Christ had done for her.
Luke 9: 43-48.. This is the story of a woman who has been bleeding for 12 years. She was not just curious about Jesus, she was desperate to touch Him. What a difference there is between the crowds that are curious about Jesus. Many people today are familiar with Jesus, but nothing in their lives is changed or bettered by this acquaintance. It is only through a relationship, and faith in Jesus, that releases God's healing power.
Luke 10: 38-41.. This is the story of Mary and Martha who both loved Jesus. They were both serving Jesus, but in a different way. Martha was busy doing things, while Mary was sitting at the feet of Jesus. I can only imagine the stories that Jesus was telling her. We truly need to set our priorities correct when it comes to serving Jesus. The time with Him is more important than all the doing.
Become desperate for your time with Jesus. Set your alarm clock a little earlier before work to have this time. Those who hunger and thirst for Jesus will be filled!

How great is the love. Vertical Worship

 https://youtu.be/CqcWrSh0LZI

Oh how great His love is. He came to this world, left His throne in heaven, to be with us. To show us the way in this crazy world. To lead us back to everlasting life, and bring as many as we can with us.

Isaiah 9:6, " For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given"....
John 1: 1-5 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."... It really can't get any clearer than that. But what really blows my mind as you continue to read these verses, He came to the very realm that He created. Verse 3, "Through him all things were made, without him nothing was made that has been made." Verse 14, " The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us."
Jesus came as a sacrifice for all sins, and his death satisfied God's requirements for the removal of sin. Jesus is God's only unique son. Jesus is one of a kind, and enjoys a relationship with God unlike all of us who are called, children of God if we receive, and believe this truth, verse 12.
I don't know about you, but I can't stop thanking Him! I thank Him for the way He loves me. I thank Him for the way He created me. Giving me a chance at this life. Giving me a purpose. I have been ransomed, rescued, purchased. With the price of His own blood.
"Jesus, faithful King. With a grateful heart I sing. How great is the love of my savior."
I pray this season you realize the reason.

Call on the Name.. Vertical Worship

 https://youtu.be/7s8t5tiR88c

I'm reading Luke 4. I went over verse 1 several times. Jesus WAS LED by the Spirit in the Desert, where for 40 days He would be tempted and hungry. What a great example Jesus gives us to using the Word of God as our sword, verse 4, "It is written" .. This is how we fight out battles.
When you know the word of God, you know there will be times in our life where we will be led in places that we would choose not to go. No one asks for sickness. No one wants to see a loved one suffer. No one wants to lose a child, or a baby at birth. We can make a list of things that we would question, why God? I mean, no one chooses suffering of any kind. Even Jesus didn't choose His suffering. It was the will of His Father.
There will be many times in our life where we need to know the Word of God. But we should go further than just knowing it. It needs to be written on the tablets of our hearts, 2 Corinthians 3:3. Hidden in our soul. This way, in times of trouble, it will give us hope and strength. We will call upon the Name, Jesus, because He is able. He's been in these places in His humanness on Earth. Isaiah 53: 3, He is very well acquainted with our sorrows and struggling. When our circumstances are troubling. He has the bigger picture. We can ask Him to help us trust Him, as He carries us through whatever the other side of it is. I always keep in my heart and mind, this is not home.
Personally for me the, the hardest prayer has always been to say, Lord your will be done in my life. But Jesus is continueously teaching me. The greatest thing, is to know he knows me. He knows me better than I know me, and greater is He that's in me.

Make me like You... Bryan McCleery

 https://youtu.be/zJkoaE29YHo

I absolutely love asking God daily to use me for someone today.  I absolutely love when he shows up at the perfect time. You just know that you know, He orchestrated the conversation that's about to happen.  Truly, I will stop anything to boast about Jesus Christ. I really don't care where I am. I am forever grateful for all He's done, and the time I'm given.
Today was once again in the gym during my workout. I was so excited when a dear friend of mine called me and told me her  sister wants to be baptized. We have been praying for her. Not just her battle with cancer. But also her relationship with Jesus.  You just couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I mean, I'm usually always smiling, but this time it attracted a friend of mine to ask me what I was so happy about. Well the conversation began, and it was short and sweet.
He asked me why she wasn't baptized as a baby. I said to him, well like Jesus, and all the others in the Bible, they got baptized when they were of age to hear with their heart, and understand repentance and walking a new life with Jesus.  Jesus didn't have to repent of any sin. He was just our example to follow.  I proceeded to tell him what it means to me, and the definition of being submerged, not just sprinkled with water as a baby. They can't make a personal decision. But we can make a personal decision when we begin to understand the meaning of being  down with our old life, and up with a new life with Jesus Christ. Following Him as not just your Savior, but Lord.
He didn't ask any more questions. So we left it at that. What a sweet few moments. And you never know who else was listening.
So I pray daily that the fragrance of my life will be a pleasing sacrifice. My time, is His time. Every decision, and every moment, may He be glorified.
Daily spending time in God's word, helps you recognize His heart for others. Tune your heart to His,  and He will pour you out.

Thief... Third Day

 https://youtu.be/LKDh0aTU8y4

The Passion of the Christ was a very graphic showing of the suffering of Jesus Christ.  I believe we all need to be reminded of how brutal it was,  and that He did it all for us. Also that it is never too late to ask Jesus to remember you, like the one wise grateful thief on the cross. He knew he was getting what he deserved. What we all deserve if it wasn't for Jesus.

I absolutely love how that is portrayed in the movie, and in the word of God.  How one thief acknowledged who Jesus was. The other continued in his ignorant attitude to get all he could from Jesus, Luke 23: 39-43.  Are we wise and grateful like the one thief?  Or do we continue to expect much from Jesus. If we are wise and grateful, we we would realize that  He has given us everything, and no need to give us anymore. We are here to serve Him.

Reading this scripture in Luke, and the scripture in Mark 14: 10-11, where Judas betrayed Jesus, and why he did it, made me think.

Judas betrayed Jesus. He was looking for other things in Jesus. Like an important position, and a new government. He didn't realize that Jesus's kingdom was spiritual. Life wasn't going to go the way he thought, so he turned him over for money. How many of us, when life doesn't go our way, question Jesus, and then possibly stop following Him.  Are we only following him for stuff, and a comfortable lifestyle?  If we think that's how it's going to be, then we certainly haven't read our bible. We can't fool God. He sees into the depths of our hearts why we say we believe in Jesus, and the reasons we follow Him.

The truth is, there is going to be so much more on the other side than this blip of life. All the stuff we gain on this side, isn't going with us.    Are we robbing God of the time and talents He has given us in this life while we are here, Matthew 25: 14-30. We don't own anything. Not even our own life. We are here for a purpose, and to continue to build His Kingdom here in earth.  If we are living for ourselves, then we are truly robbing God. Which thief are you?

Search our hearts oh God.

Thy Word.... Amy Grant

 https://youtu.be/a6LC8cu03Ig

Psalm 119:105," Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path."
What a beautiful promise when you seek Him daily. But to be honest, sometimes I wish I had more than just a light, a lamp, to make my steps perfectly clear before I mess up. I would like to have the answers alot quicker to the craziness that can happen daily. I would love to know that the future is going to be OK. But that's not going to happen. A lamp, a light daily, for each step we take, that's what He gives us. It's up to us to seek Him daily. We will still mess up. But that should only draw us even closer. To hear Him more clearly each time.
The Bible isn't meant to replace God, but walk beside Him. It's meant for us to depend on, to trust, and place our hopes in Him.
Seeking his word gives us light for the next step. Not the whole plan. To be honest, that's hard for a lot of us. We want to know that the future is going to be OK. But he doesn't give us that. He gives us the light for each step. That's why it is so important to seek Him daily.
I am so grateful for His word, and seeking him for wisdom and knowledge of my next step. That He always walks beside me. That he picks me up when I mess up, and tells me to try again.
We do not know how everything is going to turn out with things here in our lives. But one thing we do know being his child. He is our only hope. He is our eternal future. That's the promise I hold dearly. My future is secure.

I will follow... Vertical Worship

 https://youtu.be/Xh3ZK7JecK0

Have you ever witnessed in your life, Jesus's unchanging heart? Do you believe who He says He is? Will you follow Him all through life's experiences?

When God's favor is flooding your life, when everything is calm, it's easy to follow Him, and worship and praise Him.
But we all know the storms of life come. Some stronger than others. This is when it's even more important to keep diving into His word. Keep praising Him. Telling Him who He is to you.
Today we see alot of the wicked prospering. Evil is more now in our country than I have ever seen in my life. We are just getting a small taste of the horror other countries go through, and yet there are faithful followers there. Even to their death they follow. They believe everything that Jesus says He is. They hide just to have Bible time together. What some would do just for a page of the Bible. It breaks my heart, all we have, and all we take for granted. We could meet in church. Yet some people don't even bother. We could meet in Bible study classes. Yet we don't bother to do that either. We make excuses for everything. We wonder why our country is falling. Jesus says "seek the kingdom first"...
We are all running a race here. Are we obedient followers? Are we on fire for Kingdom purposes? In case you didn't know, and you are a Christian, that's why you are still breathing.
There will be an end to our race one day to receive a prize that Christ has won for us. PARADISE!!! Oh what a day that will be. I pray I hear, "well done good a faithful servant." Nothing else will matter on that day.
It's never too late to come to Christ if you haven't made that step. It's never too late if you are a Christian, to be an obedient follower. Life with purpose,  is a life so worth living.
Galatians 2: 20, "I have  been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Heaven Come... Jenn Johnson

 https://youtu.be/3kxWMq7gGF8

Being a widow for 6 years, many people have asked me if I think I will ever marry again. I can pretty much positively say, "no." First off, I will never want to love as deeply as I loved my husband. When you know that the heart of God is loving through you, that's deep. For better, for worse, in sickness and in health. Not many people take these vows seriously. But God does, and He sure taught me to love in ALL of these conditions.
But there is another reason. Oh this Jesus of mine. I know that there are some who can completely understand me, and there are some who won't. Some people say being around the person they love is like heaven. Well being in the presence of Jesus is heaven to me. Some people say they get such a tingling feeling when they are around the one they love. Well when I'm in the presence of Jesus, it's a fire that burns deep within. I never feel alone, even when I am alone.
I can totally be me, and He still loves me. Oh, don't get me wrong. He corrects me when I'm not pleasing Him, and He deserves my best. I don't have to make dinner for Him. He feeds me. He even washes me from head to toe, and inside out. I never have to call Him. He always calls me. We can talk for hours, and it's always new and full of life.
All that He does for me, and He promises that there's more to come. It doesn't get any better than that.
I pray if you don't know Jesus this way, you will seek Him more. Put Him first and watch what happens. He will come and fill every empty place.
Oh my Jesus how I love You

One more song... Casting Crowns

 https://youtu.be/uQs55BaTD3U

I absolutely love when God does this. As most of you know,  I am a blogger. I love Christian music and how it speaks to my heart. When a song continues to ring in my head, and I play it over and over again, I know somethings about to be written.
I had an encounter at the gym with a friend that I talk to often. Our 1st conversation a few months back was about the headaches he was having while he was working out. I tried to tell him, maybe take your mask off while you're working out and it might help you.. Well he didn't listen and continues to wear it, and that's OK. It's his choice.
Today he came up to me while I was riding the bike and and he told me that he just can't sleep anymore. I asked him "why?" He said he has so many things on his mind. I know hes a believer because of the conversations we have had. So I asked him, "do you read your Bible at those times, or any time of the day."  He said he has gotten away from that. I told him,  "well maybe Jesus is trying to call you back."  He told me he has his Bible right there with a couple of Jesus statues. He proceeded to tell me that he talks to Jesus all the time. I told him, "that's all well and good, but God talks to us through his word. Again, maybe God is calling you back to spend quality time with him. Not just wake up in the morning and put your requests out.You were married, you know what a love relationship is. One doesn't do all the talking." He laughed, and said,  "you have a point there.
I was so thankful that he agreed with me. I could have jumped off the bike after he walked away and shout, Hallelujah!
As long as I have breath in me, there will always be one more song to write to for the glory of my Lord. No greater joy than being used by Him.  A broken life,  a prodigal brought home. Jesus desires to use us.

You're gonna be OK.. Jenn Johnson

 https://youtu.be/LjF9IqvXDjY

So many people on my mind, and in my prayers. Hard times come to all of us. Some going through much harder times than others, and questions start to rise up. It's a fight just to keep it together. His presence isn't felt. You don't know what to pray anymore. It's OK. He's a big God, with big shoulders. He understands our weaknesses.
I LOVE Psalm 139! The whole thing!   Just look at some of these scriptures.. 7  "Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?".... There isn't anywhere in our every waking moment that He isn't with us.
There are many times in my life where I have screamed out, "where are you God?"  and never a time that I have said this, that I have ever felt guilty. I never stopped believing, and I know that He has big enough shoulders to handle my questions and tantrum. Like verse 1 says,  " O Lord, you have searched me and you know me."

Never give up. Just keep taking 1 step closer. There is light in the darkness. Reach out for prayer.  We have faithful brothers and sisters that will pray and carry us to the comforting arms of Jesus when we don't know what to pray, Luke 5: 17-20.  I love this story because it wasn't even the paralytics faith that impressed Jesus, but the faith of his friends. Jesus responded to their faith and healed the man.  Prayer is powerful. According to God's will and purpose, it will be done.
When the night feels like it's closing in,  don't give up.  Pray according to His will. Or ask someone to pray for you.
Matthew 9:28, " Do you believe that I am able to do this?" ......Jesus asks us this question, and confronts us in every individual situation we will encounter in life.  May we never give up on the great supernatural position of limitless confidence in Jesus Christ.

Behold the Lamb.. Kristian Stanfill

 https://youtu.be/_e1QRtxUF50

There are 3 scriptures that I have been meditating on and just smile!
Matthew 28:18 " All authority in heaven and on Earth has been given to me."  Even the demons know this.
Mark 3: 11, " Whenever the evil spirits saw Him, they fell down before him and cried out, "You are the Son of God." But He gave them strict orders not to tell who He was."

The evil spirits knew that Jesus was the Son of God, but they refused to turn from their evil purposes.  From the beginning of  history, it's been an ongoing battle of evil and good. In this chapter Jesus was healing people. But He doesn't want to be popular just for what He can do physically. Nothing is impossible for him physically. It's the heart that He is after,  and that's a personal choice. One that He can't make happen.  You can see from this scripture of the evil spirits, that even believing He is God's son, does not guarantee salvation.
We need to behold the Lamb. The Great I Am!  The story of redemption is written on His hands. All for us, this sacrifice. For every sin our Savior died.

Colossians 2:13, " When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code,  with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us, He took it away, nailing it to the cross."....  Here comes the favorite part of this scripture to me....
" And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

The circumcision of the heart can only be done if we give it to Him to heal us Spiritually.

Dear God, we thank you for the cross.

Who am I... Watermark

 https://youtu.be/2Ch1NvrxfK4

This is probably one of my favorite scriptures, and it will take me a lifetime to wrap my mind around this amazing love of God.
Romans 5: 8, " But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:  While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
God's love for us was never dependent on us loving Him back. My question is, how could we not? He didn't even need us to get right with Him. The way to get right, is to come to Him. He takes it from there by the gift of the Holy Spirit that is continually at work in us. Romans 8:1-17
Grace,  God's grace. Grace that has pardoned and cleansed my sin. Something that I didn't deserve. But God sent His Son to die for all mankind anyway.  It's been prophesied in the Old Testament, and came to life in the new. Isaiah 53 is all about our Jesus.
Ephesians 2:1-10, great verses! You can't work for it, and you and I will never be good enough. Grace is a gift, and what a gift it is!
A lot of people have asked me, "how do I know I'm saved?" I always tell them what Jesus said in Matthew 7: 15-20. "You will know them by their fruit."  Our outward behavior is changing. The words that flow from our mouth change. We are changing. We are His workmanship in the making.
The biggest plus. Not that we have to. But
we get to pray. Having conversations with the Love most High. Wow, Who am I?

No other love... red rock worship

 https://youtu.be/S0LZ74fryo0

With all the craziness that's going on, I pray fervently for my family. Especially my grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, that are the future generation. The things that they are being exposed to is horrible. Even things on TV. Cartoons aren't at all as they used to be when I was growing up. Things that are being taught in school by some teachers about how a family can be these days. That's not their job!!
Parents today have a greater responsibility than then we ever had. My mom tells me, that even when I raisied my girls, it was nothing like it was when she was raising us.  Generation after generation, things seem to keep getting worse. More and more things acceptable that are detestable in God's sight. Children so confused. Identity and self esteem worsen with each generation.  Suicides on the rise.
Conversations with the kids today can't just be, "so how was school today?"  It sure has to go in more depth than that.
I remember growing up with low self esteem. Not anyone's fault but my own. Believing the lies in my head. My mom and dad tried to explain things that were happening, but we do have to go through things, and learn and grow on our own at some point in our life. I know that my parents prayed for me, took me to church and youth group.  I am eternally grateful for that. We really need to trust that God is hearing our cries for our children and grandchildren. This was the hardest thing to learn as a parent raising my own kids, but also as a grandparent sitting back and watching things as they are today.
So I continue to pray for them the beautiful lyrics of this song.....
Be my light when the night falls..Be my joy in the mourning...Be my hope in the sorrows...By my side when I'm lonely..Be my truth when the lies call..Give me faith when I doubt it..When the voices say I'm not good at all..Be the voice that drowns it..Be my peace when I'm surrounded...For my fears will never scare You... Shatter the shame that I've been bound in...From insecure to brand new.

Thank you Jesus for the blood. Charity Gayle

 https://youtu.be/dhU-Omwg2rU

If you are a believer, you know there is a day coming that, like any bride and groom look forward to. The wedding banquet, Matthew 22:1-14.
Invitations are given to all who you would like to come. Some won't except the invite. Then there are some who won't even care how they come dressed, even though you told them on the invite the proper attire, verses11-12. They will dress however they choose, thinking they can sneak in.
In Genesis 3:7, after the eyes of both Adam and Eve were opened, and they realized their nakedness because of their sin. They took it upon themselves to sew fig leaves together and make coverings and hide from God. Can you imagine, trying to hide from a all seeing, all knowing God? Yet alot of us think we can. It can't be done!
God desires a love relationship with us, and He made that way for us through His Son.
Because a sacrifice, and blood, is the only remedy for sin, God in verse 21, of that same chapter, made garments of skin for Adam and his wife to be clothed in. God-made a way then to continue in a love relationship with Adam and Eve, and He made a way for us today through Jesus.
We can't dress ourselves for this special day. No one could ever be good enough. No one could ever do enough. Jesus Christ did it all, and paid the full price for our sins by His sacrifice for us all on that blood stained cross.
Some of us are still lost and blind to the fact that sin separates us from a Holy God. Every day God gives us, is time running out. What are you waiting for? We have all been given the invitation. He is waiting for your response, and to dress properly.

I will look up..... Elevation Worship

 https://youtu.be/tEQnoE7SnZw

I don't know about you. But there are times in the morning I go to my prayer room and can sit in a funk that I feel like I'm not going to come out of. Isn't that crazy? In my prayer room! This is supposed to be my time for worship and prayer,  and for Jesus to get my full attention!
I know it's me. So if I can't focus on the Word right then, or what to pray at that moment,  I'll put on worship music to drive every thought captive and make it obedient to Jesus, 2 Corinthians 10: 4-5.
It's there where I realize I'm not laying everything at His feet. The things of this world. The loved ones and friends I am praying for.  My hopes and dreams.
No matter what things look like, I choose to trust Him. It's then,  that I begin to feel His presence and peace,  and I smile. It's that childlike faith that pleases Him, Matthew 18: 2-4.
We see it again in Matthew 19: 14.  There is a childlike attitude that we should all have an approaching God. We even need childlike attitudes in trusting.  I think one of the greatest examples,  is when you take a little baby, and throw them up in the air and catch them, and they do nothing but laugh. They trust us. We are faithful to catch them, I hope, LOL.
I'm sure a lot of us have had the feeling of being tossed around. Maybe you are there right now. Look back and see that He is faithful. Look ahead and know that He is able. Take Him at His Word. Let Him know how much you need Him.  He is the Prince of peace. He is the perfect healer. All our cares, all our life is on Him
Let Him catch you, and smile.

Mighty God.. Elevation Worship

 https://youtu.be/_fySa7YmnxM

Matthew 14: 24-36

"The wind is watching every gesture of Your hand. Waves of fear collapse at Your command."

I love this whole chapter. You see so much of Christ's character. Even when he was in deep sorrow of John the Baptist being beheaded, he still went out and healed people, and fed thousands. Jesus never let anything stop Him from doing the ministry He came to do. Jesus is loving, caring, and feeling person. When we are suffering, we need to remember that Jesus hurts with us.

Verse 30, Peter started to sink because he took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the high waves around him. If we focus on the difficult circumstances around us without looking to Jesus for help, we will despair and sink too. Verses 30-31, At least when Peter's faith was failing he reached out to Christ, the only one who could help him. We are going to be afraid of certain things that are allowed to enter our life. We live in a falling, sinful world. But we can't let that fear make us lose sight of Jesus Christ, and that no matter what, we are in a win, win relationship. Our eternity is secure in Christ.
Verses 34-36, In these verses, the people recognized Jesus as a great healer, but how many understood who he truly was? They came to Jesus for physical healing. They came to prolong their lives on Earth, but they did not come to secure their eternal lives. We miss the whole message of Jesus if we seek him only to heal our bodies but not our souls.
When the pressures of this life rush in, and they will, Christ will always be there for us. But there is so much more than looking to Jesus for help here. There is an eternal plan for us all.

Parable of the 4 soils...

 https://youtu.be/kz9wzxVLDks

Matthew 13: 10-30
God is truly building His kingdom. I believe there is a separating that is happening now. Are we listening?  Are we still hungering for more and more of God no matter what?
Are you are a follower of Christ who hungers for the truth even when you can't make sense of things. Even when the going gets tough? Or do you just follow when everything is smooth?
These 4 different types of soil that Jesus spoke about in these scriptures, is the different responses of people to God's message. When the going gets tough,  will we remain faithful? Is the evil one snatching away what was sown in your heart?
Some hearts are hardened, some are shallow, some are distracted by worries, and some are receptive.
I love verse 13 when Jesus says:  This is why I speak to them in parables:  Though seeing, they do not see, though hearing, they do not hear or understand".....
The way things are going today, I have to scratch my head and wonder, "what the heck are people thinking. Don't they see what's happening? So much evil and after control."
These scriptures explain it so well. There are the weeds, which is the unbelievers. Then there is the wheat, which is the true believers. Verses 24-30,  God allows unbelievers to remain for a while. All of us growing together. Just like a farmer allows weeds to remain in his field, so that the surrounding wheat isn't uprooted with them.  Weeds and the young blades of wheat look the same and can't be distinguished until they are grown and ready for harvest
We will live in this world with unbelievers for a while, and those who say they believe. Only God sees through to the heart. God's harvest of all people is coming. We should be making ourselves ready, by making sure that our faith in Jesus Christ is sincere.

Hallelujah here below.. Stephany and Elevation Worship worship

 https://youtu.be/M7MR77AVBOs

"We are an alter of broken stones, but You delight in our offering."
Matthew 5: 16..."Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
I love how Jesus says, "your Father".  Talking to believers. To glorify, means to make a big deal over. A lot of christians live a life as a believer silently. To embarrassed, or concerned you might offend someone. Yet the rest of the world continues to offend us. Continuing to speak very clear what they feel, or what is pushed in our face today.
I love people. I will continue to love ALL people. But I will never hold back the truth. When someone does something that is offensive to me, or in front of a child, I will speak up. Or if someone asks how I feel about something. It's up to that person who asked me the question if they want to continue to be my friend. A true friend tells the truth in love. Or if I see a brother or sister in Christ going in the wrong direction. I will speak up. I would hope that a brother or sister in Christ would do the same for me. That's love. Not judging.
Our life should be evident of the change that Jesus Christ made in our life. You can't do the things you used to do, or talk the way you used to. You're still the same person, it's just that you're sensitive to the things that hurt Jesus.
Matthew 10:33 , " But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven"......I can't keep silent. Since the day I surrendered the old me to be changed, it's not even possible to keep silent of the life that lives within me. It's too good.
My Hallelujah here below is my greatest offering, and not just in the church building.  Are you willing to praise him outside of the church building?  We should be in public the way we are in church. It should not be a secret. Speak up, live out loud the way the rest of the world is. We should make a bigger impact than they are. We should be the salt and the light of the world. We should be known by the change in us and the impact it's made in our life. Then go out and impact this world.
