Who will rise up ... Vertical Worship

 https://youtu.be/kSx1Jg-uLew

When someone is hurting, instead of judging, will we rise up? Will we show the same mercy given to us. Matthew 5:7,"Blessed are the merciful. For they will be shown mercy. "
The closer your relationship is with Jesus, the more you see things through His eyes. You see hurting lost people. The same as we were before His change began within us. I will never forget the love and mercy from others that drew me to Jesus. It was evident that something was different about them and I wanted it.
Sometimes we are in situations that are painful, heartbreaking, or seem unfair. I don't know about you. But I know I have told Jesus in many situations that was unfair to me, "are You kidding me? You want me to be kind and loving?" His reply, "YES! How else will they see me?"
We will not know the full purpose and importance of our lives until we are able to look back from the perspective of where we saw the love and mercy of Jesus through someone to us.
So yes, be kind, loving, patient with those that God had sent your way. It will be clear to you that He is wanting to show Himself through you.
Even if you don't see the results right away.  Live a life of obedience to God. Knowing that the significance of our life will extend beyond our lifetime. The rewards will outweigh any sacrifice you may have made. To hear one day, "well done good and faithful servant", is worth it all.
Live a life of showing the love and mercy we received. The world is in desperate need of seeing that He is alive in you and me.

Hidden places.. Vertical Worship

 https://youtu.be/BmUaIYhThAE

We all have hidden places in our life. Some we know about, and some we don't realize until the bright Light shines on it.
Either way, God is all about His glory and desires constant change. There is nothing hidden from Him. But oh when He shines that Light and desires that change, there's no escaping. It's not comfortable at all, but all for our good and His glory.
Seems like alot of things I write about, or talk about in my Bible classes, God allows me to go through something that isn't comfortable at all. But what better way is there to explain things, if not having gone through it. Experience is the best teacher whether we like it or not. But our Sovereign God knows best how to show us another part of us that doesn't look like Jesus at all... Ouch!
I always ask Him, "what are You teaching me Lord? I don't like this, it's not fair. Having my little pitty party tantrum. When I'm all done, He speaks. I can't hear Him when I'm in that state of mind. But when the Holy Spirit calms me, I hear clearly.
I love music. To me it's a prayer I worship Him with. So when I'm singing or praying words like, " search my heart and know me. Every part completely. Give me sight, show me what Your like. Lead me to Your heart Lord, make me Holy." Oh you can bet that flood Light is going to come on!
He refines us in His mercy. That's what isn't comfortable, but necessary to be His disciples. But let's not forget His wonderful grace. Grace that covers all our sin, but doesn't leave us unchanged. That is what this wonderful adventure with Jesus is on earth is all about. Even though things hurt and we don't like it, we continue to be changed into His image. You can't just talk about it. We are meant to look like Him...

Authority.. Elevation Worship

 https://youtu.be/2sX1xXzAO0E

One Word from You. Things change on Your authority.
Psalm 30: 10-11 " The Lord sits enthroned over the flood, the Lord is enthroned as King forever. The Lord gives strength to his people, the Lord blesses his people with peace."
The more I dive into His beautiful Word, the more I realize the authority He has given me! Thank You Jesus! Read this scripture Ephesians 1: 18-23. Chew on it as long as you have to. Then believe it!  The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to help us. Verse 19, "And his incomparably Great Power for us who believe." It doesn't get any better than that.
God has won the final victory and is in control of everything. He sits enthroned  above, but we have the promised Holy Spirit within us all because of Jesus. We have nothing without Jesus, and God makes that very clear, Ephesians 1:1-10.
All things must bow at His command. Our battles are not our own. Heaven will prevail!
Look at this one. Luke 10:19, " I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy, nothing will harm you."
But it's not a magic hocus pocus. James 4:7, It's living a submitted life to God, by believing and proclaiming the Name of Jesus Christ. It's at His Name that everything must bow, Philippians 2:10.
All glory to You Lord Jesus

How good is He... Vertical Worship

 https://youtu.be/lL4LIzYeOVA

How good is He? If He never did another thing for me, He's still so good. Because He did everything for me.
Jesus, the Light of my salvation. Before me, behind me, all around me. I'm never alone. He delights in reminding me of that when He sees my anxiety start to rise up. It's like that little tap on your shoulder saying, "I'm right here. Look to Me. Speak my promises to Me." Oh how I love that.
There are many times in my day that some thought, or something happening can bring me to that place of; I hate saying it but it's real, anxiety. Jesus tells us in his word that we "Will" have trouble in this world, but to take heart. He has overcome the world. The enemy toys with us. But he is defeated!!!
One thing I know for sure. The closer you are to Jesus, abiding in His Word, He pulls you out quick. But if you don't know His promises in His word, it takes alot longer to come out of thoughts that keep pulling you down.
His word is your sword to slay the lies of the enemy, Ephesians 6: 13-18. Dress in the whole armor every day! Because that enemy is after you everyday seeking who he can devour, 1 Peter 5:8.
Spiritual warfare is real. You have to be prepared. It comes when you least expect it. But Jesus is there giving you that tap, "Look to Me. I have given you authority. Use it. I go in front of you. I'm all around you. Oh how good Is He? I couldn't, and wouldn't want to be here without His constant presence.
With everything, and for everything. Thank You Jesus for salvation. I may be in this world, but You will forever hold my heart.
Here are just a few of His comforting promises found in His word.
1 Peter 5:7... Psalm 27:12....Isaiah 41:10...
Matthew 6: 25-34, 10: 29-31, 11:28
Philippines 4:6-7
Take Him at His Word. He's faithful.

None like You.. Steffany Gretzinger

 https://youtu.be/Fhl5j7GXzlQ

Have you ever ran when you should have stayed? Have you ever just wanted to stay in bed, because sleeping was better than facing another day filled with hurt? Have you ever searched for something in someone or something that you longed for?
Or maybe thinking vacations will ease the pain, only to come back to reality.
I have been in all of the above. I can testify that there is none like Jesus. All of the pain and emptiness that we go through in life is meant to drive us to Jesus. Thats where you begin to realize that He is your enough.
If you're not spending time in His Word, you won't know Him, experience Him, or know what promises to request of Him that He says in His word. He loves when His child does that. He is our faithful Father.
2 Corinthians 12:9, You will see his grace is sufficient. Philippians 4:19, You will see that He will supply your every need, and fill your emptiness. Zephaniah 3:17, He will quiet you with His love. Joshua 1:9, He is with us in all things. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, He is the God of all comfort, Who comforts us in all our troubles..... These are just a few. Search Him, you will find Him.
You can keep searching other things, but you will come up empty.
