Legacy... ICF worship

 https://youtu.be/NX5IO4Fulr0

Yes, the cost may be high, but that's why we are here. To pass the baton and leave a legacy.
What a wonderful message by our pastor at an event at my church. What would this world be like if we don't continue to teach our children, and grandchildren. God, and His beautiful message of salvation through Jesus Christ is being fizzled out.
I can already see how different this world is from when I was growing up. God was a priority. Now it seems like He's not that top priority and we are seeing the reproductions of that choice in many families, and in this world. It's so sad because it shouldn't be that hard to give the best to the One Who wakes us everyday.
Look at Psalm 78: 1-8.  God commanded that the stories of his mighty acts in Israel's history and His laws be passed on from parents to children. This shows the purpose and importance of helping each generation to obey God and set their hope on Him. It is important to keep children from repeating the same mistakes as we did. What are we doing to pass on the history of God's work to the next generation?
It's never too late to start. Our children now,  and ones yet to be born have to live in a world that is changing rapidly, and not for the better as we can see. Don't you care? We have been given a command. All of us.
Teach them the solid ground to stand upon with no compromises!
Heavenly Father, what breaks Your heart may it break ours. May we be loyal to You, as You have been so patient with us.  May we not just follow you with words but with our hearts.

Im me... Rebecca St James

 https://youtu.be/inNSdYCtbrQ

I read a true story about a turtle the other day and it inspired me to write this.
This turtle was being barked at and bitten over and over again by this dog. How could he be so calm? He knew he couldn't outrun the trouble. Instead he was given an armor to withstand it. The turtle had his protective shell. He knew all he had to do was tuck himself inside and no harm can come to him.
Psalm 119:14, " You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in Your word." The same is for us. When we put our full trust and confidence in God's word and His power in our lives, we no longer have to fear or run from trouble. We can put our armor on, Ephesians 6: 13-18.
The other night there was a horrible rainstorm, and my backyard has always flooded horribly. Pretty much knee deep. The storm was so bad that Internet went out. It always seems to be in the late evening hours. It was around 10. I stared outside and looked at my yard filling up. All I could say was, "God there is nothing I can do staring at this, but everything that you can. Please make this water go into the ground quickly by morning."
Then as I was getting ready to get in bed, I got an alert on my phone that there was a tornado watch in in my area. I sensed Jesus say, "Rest your head on that pillow. I have you covered." I slept so well that I didn't even hear the next storm that came through around midnight that my neighbor told me was just as bad. I got up the next morning and looked outside. The water was only puddled around my 2 Palm trees in the back. I know that only God could have done that. I usually have to put a water pump out there.
I truly believe in the power of prayer.
Sometimes the greatest expression of faith, is when we draw into the shell of the word and just trust.
This power is in me and you if you believe.

Known by Love... Chris McClarney

 https://youtu.be/Iow-9bLo3tU

1 Peter 3: 13-15
If you speak the truth in love, and eager to do good, yet suffer the loss of friends or family, or anything else, the word says you are blessed. It shows Jesus that your heart is set apart for Him as LORD, not just your Savior.
I want to be known by love, and speak the truth in love. It's hard today to be calm. So much being pushed on us and our children. But one of the greatest things that has happened to me with studying the Bible, is knowing that no matter what my eyes see  in this world, or what laws they pass in this world,  in the end God has the victory. The story is already written and finished. We are just part of it. We are either for God or against him. People fight for their rights of everything. Fighting for laws to be passed that are against God's Holy standards. All over the world is feeling the affects of 1 John 4 verse 5...  "They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world and the world listens to them."
Jump up to verses 1-3.  This always helps me to get a clearer understanding. That the spirit of the antichrist is already in the world. It tells us that many false prophets have gone out into this world.  Even some of those that teach in the pulpits of the church are teaching things that just keep people comfortable. As The Bible says, tickling their ears, 2 Timithy 4: 3-5. That's not the love of Jesus. Teach the truth, so the truth can set them free. Be a true friend, a true loving relative. But be prepared for some to hate what you stand for. But you are standing for Jesus and loving them with the truth. That is the meaning of this verse in Luke 14: 26-27.
As I see it, The Bible is being played out just as it is written, and Jesus will be coming soon.
So onward Christian soldiers.. Speak the truth in love, unashamed. You never know whose soul is dying to hear it.

Glorious day... Kristian Stanfill

 https://youtu.be/LfzpfqrPUDo

These lyrics just excites the heck out of me,  and the hell right out of me.

"You called my name (Kim)
Then I ran out of that grave.
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day."
How about you?
There is nothing, absolutely nothing so satisfying than this relationship with Jesus.
You may wake up to a new day breathing but not alive. Maybe buried beneath shame and failure. Maybe you feel full of anxiety and worry. So many things that the enemy puts you in his tomb of lies.
We all need to be rescued from sin in our lives. But chains break at the weight of His glory. Call out to Him. You will sence His presence. Something that is hard to explain. You just have to believe and experience it for yourself.
It's crazy, but even to this day whenever I start to sink into despair, fear, worry, I hear Him call my name. "Kim, come sit with me. I'm here. I've got you, and always will."
And my God is not a liar! I have a future. He opened my eyes. He is my daily healing. His love is the air I breath every second, John 20: 19-21
The same way He came out of the grave and shocked the enemy, and kicked his butt. So can we. Run out of the grave of lies!!
