Beautiful Beyond Discription ( I Stand in AWE) Beth Croft

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=No1MfYkcNuU

I just love this scripture because this is exactly how we should feel about God. IN AWE of His many wonders!!!! Then believers should desire to meet together and fellowship with the common goal of: hearts on fire to make more disciples.

Acts 2: 43 "They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.  Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.  All the believers were together and had everything in common."

If this was the common goal of the church, I mean really have a heart for the unsaved, then God would add to the number daily of those being saved. I didn't say it. His word does. Look at verses 46-47 "Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."

When the Lord took my husband home to be with Him, I made this my promise. To be all about the Kingdom of God. It truly is my hearts passion. Even if I tried I cant change that passion. I'm overwhelmed with my Savior Jesus. He completes me. Nothing else can even compare or compete with this kind of love. It's a love that will never leave you or forsake you. I'm learning not to let my heart be troubled about the things of this world. My time could end in a blink of an eye. At least I know the truth. Jesus overcame this world and so will I. But until that day, I thank God for where He's placed me in this world. I thank Him for the family He picked for me here. I can go on and on. So just like the lyrics of this song: He is beautiful beyond description. To marvelous for words. Too wonderful for comprehension. Like nothing ever seen or heard. Who can grasp His infinite wisdom?Who can fathom the depths of His love? He is beautiful BEYOND description. Majesty enthroned above.

Oh my prayer for all of my family is, if the Holy Spirit of God hasn't gripped their heart to the fullest, I pray He does. I still want more! If you are my family member or friend who doesn't believe, I am praying for you daily.

Broken Ladders..... Selah

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kvzgoH-l90

Luke 10: 25-26, Jesus says, "What is written in the law?".... How do you read it?

Look at the order, and think about it. God puts everything in perfect order. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself."

He never asked us for anything else but our hearts first! I have read this scripture several times. I've known the order for a long time. But until you really realize that unless you give God your whole surrendered heart, nothing will fall into place as it should. You will always keep trying, and doing things to try and please God. All He wants is our hearts. That simple.

Once He has your heart, He makes Himself known way down in the depths of your soul, and it keeps growing in your love relationship with Him. Our daily struggles are met by His strength that continues to surface itself in and through you. Any attacks in our thoughts (mind), are met by Him and cast out as He takes every thought captive, 2 Corinthians 10:5.

Every step we try to climb on our own will break. So take the first solid step of faith. A completely surrendered heart and then keep climbing. We were never created to walk alone. Don't take your eyes off the truth. It's simple, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart"....We learn the rest along the walk of life experiences: To love with all our soul, strength, and mind. Then finally, loving our neighbor as ourselves. When you grow to realize how much we are loved, and what it cost to be forgiven, loving those that are even hard to love is easier. Jesus does it through us.

Then the climb of life is so exciting. The love relationship is amazing! NOTHING compares to it!

Give me Faith....Elevation Worship

What parent gives a child everything they want? I never did. Either does our heavenly Father because there are lessons in the waiting.

Meditating on this scripture and I'm praying, "God forgive me for my double mindedness at times. Give me faith to trust what You say. I know Your intentions are to shape my life."... My mom and dad had the same intentions for my life. But just like a child's thinking then, I can be the same way now in my trying to understand God. Sometimes you just have to wait. My flesh may fail, but my God He never will.

Look at what God's word says, James 1: 6-7. "But when you ask you MUST BELIEVE and not doubt..... That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double minded and unstable in all they do."

I don't know about you, but I love talking to God, and yes, putting my request in. He loves to hear from us because He is our good Father and wants that love relationship with us. But just like me as a parent, I never liked when my kids doubted me. I still don't like it. He doesn't like when we want things right away, or if it is a selfish request. I'm sure you don't either if you are a parent.

One of the reasons why God doesn't answer right away is because He is building our faith. Helping us to stop being double minded in our request to Him. He will only answer according to His will and we need to trust that. I may not like the things that happen, or I am currently in. But I know with out a doubt He is building my faith and trust, and I love what that is doing in me.

As adults, we all have choices, free will. We can give into the flesh and have what we want now. Or wait in the strength of the Spirit and receive the best for His purpose of our life here.

We are the world.... Many artist (Michael Jackson)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9BNoNFKCBI

Listening to this song made me think. Does everyone in this crazy world really realize what a difference our choices make.
As a follower of Christ, and someone who says I love Him, sometimes I can hear Him say like He said to Peter....
"Do you love me" John 21:16. Jesus even repeated the question 3 times. Then followed it with, "Feed my sheep."

What is the church getting out of you? ...Have you ever found yourself saying: I don't get anything out of church, or, I don't have to go to church to worship God, I don't like the pastor, I don't like the music, the people are hypocrites, and so many other statements. How sad that it has come to this. The church meant everything to Jesus. Not the building,g but the people who enter the building. We are the church. Hebrews 10: 25, The fellowship of one another. The people of the body being there for you when you need them. We need to just get over ourselves. Stop just going to get, and go to give God proper worship and thanks.

Jesus died to give us this life we have. Are you one who just takes it all in? Living for yourself? One day your world that you are building can just be pulled right out from under you. What are you doing for the Kingdom? Our eternal home? This world is fleeting by, and we all have loved ones and friends who are unsaved. Yes, It is your business if you say you love Jesus. "Feed His sheep."This is what the disciples lived for. To be all Jesus asked. What happened through the years? The church is dying.

Matthew 28: 19, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations"....What are we, His children waiting for? He said it over 2000 years ago, and that command has not changed. We have! Maybe it's just within our own family and friends that God is trying to use you. But Satan gets you with that lie that it's not your business.
Think of the ones who are called out to other countries and obey that call. Some of us can't even obey in the comfort of where He has us. For the love of our Jesus, obey His call in your life. Lead your family. Not out of habit, or I should do this, but because you say, "I love you Jesus." Be the church in that way if that is all He is asking.

The joy that Jesus had, came from doing what His Father sent Him to do, John 20:21. He say to us, "As the Father has sent me, I also send you." Question is, will you just keep taking, or will you go and share the good news of the gospel? Will Jesus have to keep asking you, "Do you love me?"

He asks for absolute loyalty in this. It's a choice you have to make. Don't blame God if your family, friends, schools, this world, keeps falling apart. His word has a lot to say about a lukewarm follower. Revelations 3: 15-16.

As it is in Heaven.... Hillsong

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=So97pmyDbVw

Revelations 21:4.....John 14:2

"Whether now or then, death is not my end. I know heaven waits for me."
Since the passing of my friends husband, this song has always brought me so much comfort that I want to share it with anyone else going through the pain of grief. The lyrics are POWERFUL and TRUE, if you believe.

I know without a doubt that God brought our friendship together years ago knowing the pages of our life would collide in many areas. She has mentored me all through my marriage. Always telling me that this life is not about being comfortable, but becoming holy and knowing our Lord Jesus Christ more and more in every situation. Now that the page of her life is the lose of her husband, I can be there for her since I have turned that page.
When I called Mary several times through Ozzie's stay in the hospital, I could hear the strength of the Holy Spirit in her voice. There is no other way to explain this when you know your husband is dying. Now Ozzie being moved to hospice, and the last conversation I had with her before he went to his new address, John 14:2, she said, "The boys and I are going to see Ozzie to say goodbye." All in a normal tone! Like he was going on vacation. Well really he is. But one that he doesn't have to come back to life's reality, like we all always say after vacation is over.

Revelations 21:4, He is in a place with no more sickness in his body. Where no prison walls can hold him, and he sings because he is free! He won't come back to this place. But we as believers will meet again when our eternal vacation day comes.

But while we wait, we're really not waiting, because heaven lives in us. We just don't have the full view yet, but we will when the last page of our story and purpose for being here comes to an end.

"So I will sing like I will there. In the fearless light of glory. Where the darkness cannot find me, and His face is all I see."

Christ alone Cornerstone.... Hillsong

In every high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the veil....

I was talking with my daughter Danielle, and showing her my potted plants and wondering if they would come back. They sure looked like they wouldn't. Every leaf was off. But she told me to break a branch and see if there was any green, even a hint of green, and they would come back. Now I'm breaking branches everywhere I go LOL.
But really, that's what the enemy does. He roams like a lion looking for who he can devour (snap), 1 Peter 5:8.... He knows who is firmly planted, and he knows who he can snap into. Trials are going to come.

I love this verse, John 15: 4, "Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine".... How we look in our trials tells a lot of what we cling to. I pray that I can bear much fruit from the things I've been through, and will go through, so I can help encourage others.

Just like outdoor plants need water and proper sun light and temperature to survive, I need Jesus. In Him alone I place my hope and trust in all things. Even the things I don't understand, and don't like very much. It may be dark and confusing to me, but He shines the light, and in time things become clear. This only happens when you remain IN HIM, in His word, spending precious time with Him.

So how firmly are you rooted in Jesus? Do you just seek Him when you need Him? Maybe just on Sunday? Is He just a part of your to do list? What kind of relationship do you call that? It's definitely not a love relationship.

I can tell you this, even His beautiful creation speaks. A plant that has been firmly planted in the ground for 4 years at my house was able to take the freeze and hard weather we had. They looked dead on the outside, but full of green on the inside of the branch when I snapped it. Then the ones I planted in a pot 6 months before that freeze snapped with not one spec of green on the inside. not even down to the root. I was able to pull them out so easy and throw them away.

I may get shaken at times and look pretty bad on the outside, but I will rise. I will not be overcome. So how are you planted? How is your love relationship with Jesus? How thirsty are you? You will find out when the hard weathers of life beat down.

Jesus is my living water: Isaiah 49: 10..Isaiah 12: 3...Jeremiah 17: 8...Psalm 1: 3....John 4: 13-14....John 7:37....Revelations 21:6....Revelations 22: 17.....

Awaken Love.... Kim Walker Smith

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2ik58hK

If I've learned anything of great importance and brings such peace is: Life is too short to sweat the small stuff. Don't be chained by your worry or control of things.

Matthew 6: 21-34
I personally need to be reminded of this daily. The worries of this world, the business, it will only choke out the life God is desiring for me to rest in. The most important thing is my love relationship with Jesus. Everything else will fall into place.

Jesus knows everything about me. Not one thing goes unseen by Him. If I am allowing the concerns of my life to come before Him, I will not have the peace He desires for me to have. These concerns start off small, but if I don't realize what's happening I become blind to what it can do to my relationship with Jesus. Quiet time can become something I check off the to do list, rather than really being desperate to sit in His lap and love on Him through His word. The deceiver knows how to creep in, and a good sign he's done that is your peace is like a roller coaster.

When I really do a heart check on Matthew 6: 21-22, I know that God understands our humanness, but He also wants us to understand His Holiness. Family, husband, wife, children, grandchildren, material things, nothing should come before our love relationship with Jesus (Luke 14:26). "For where my treasure is, there my heart will be also." I want my whole body to be full of light. Than I can rest in the Lord with things that come my way. Jesus wants to be, and is my treasure.

How about you? Do you have peace and rest that passes anything you can understand? Even if you are battling an illness, a busy life, loneliness, prayers not being answered the way you wish they would? If not, do a heart check. Ask Jesus, is He placed in your life where He desires to be.

Is He your first love? "Awaken" to what is really of importance. A heart completely His.
