All I Need

What a happy song…
You can’t help but to be happy, or better said, have a joyful spirit inside when you know Jesus as Lord of your life.
The opening of this song says it all. “You’re in my heart, you’re in my head, you’re all I need.” How that pleases God to hear those words, and really meaning them.
Anxiety happens to all of us. Life, and all that goes with it. Trials, afflictions, illness, financial struggles, we can’t escape anything. The only way to have peace is God’s word, and trusting Him with your life. Philippians 4:6 says.. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.” Don’t forget the most important part, with thanksgiving, of whatever you are praying about in His will.
He is our Father in heaven, who is almighty, who holds the world in His hands, holds and cares for all our circumstances, and lives in your heart if you have invited Him in.
I’ve learned with all the things I have tried to control, I really have no control over anything except what’s going on in my thoughts. That’s why I spend time in His Word every day. You really have no choice but to trust Him with everything, and in everything, even the small things. God’s word says “Is anything to hard for Me.” “By prayer and petition” praying and waiting, and trusting God.
“With thanksgiving” Thankful He hears us, and He knows what’s good for us. Thankful for Jesus.
Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Jesus Christ.”
Take this truth to heart, “transcends all understanding.” The result will be a life that glorifies God, more and more.
So every day when you find your losing your joy, your peace, take the steps to restore the calm. As you go through trials of any kind, what do you look at the most, the trial, or Jesus who goes through it with you?
“He’s in your heart, He’s in your head, He’s all you need”
Grace and peace to you
Kim
