I am not ashamed of the Gospel...

The words of this song are so true, and the Gospel is what it’s all about. I hope they touch your heart too.

One of the things I love to do is share about my Jesus. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to my father but by me.” John 14:6

Nothing you can do,  or nobody else can save you. Admit you’re a sinner—be willing to turn from sin—believe that Jesus died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead. Invite Jesus into your life to become your, Savior, King, Boss, Lord, your everything. Give up driving your own life.

I know how much He changed my life. Even though the situations of my life didn’t change. It use to just steal all the joy, peace, energy, everything that Jesus wanted to give me. I wanted this inside me.  John 10:10 -  It took me saying, “I give up.  I don’t expect anything from someone else. I want to be yours. I’m tired, I can’t do it on my own anymore.”

Then all the promises in His word came to life in me. I hope you look them up, and keep them, and claim them for yourself.  Jeremiah 29: 11 - Matthew 11: 28-29 - Isaiah 40: 29-31 - Romans 8: 37-39 - Proverbs 1:33 - John 10: 10 There is so much more in His word to us.

I hold my Bible, because it holds me. I CLING to His promises, because they are promised to me.

My favorite part of this song, because it is so true in my life is:

See I’m ready to be all He wants me to be:

Give up the wrong for the right.

For every moment His hand had Mercy,

For all the love He’s shown in my life,

A simple thanks just doesn’t say how I’m feeling;

I get tears in my eyes.  So as for me, I’m gonna keep on believing 

in the One who’s been so faithful to me.

That’s why I am not ashamed of the Gospel!
