Word of God, Speak - Mercy Me

Is your crooked path coming to a point that is unbearable? Maybe it's a loved one you have been praying for. You want so bad for them to be set free, and come to know the salvation of Jesus Christ. Maybe it's you, and issues you have and can't let go of. Remember something, and this is VERY important. Evil NEVER SURRENDERS IT'S GRIP without a tremendous fight. But Jesus is MIGHTY TO SAVE. Every lost soul needs compassion, the kindness of a Savior, and only by His strength, and grace all sufficient, can this be done through you. He can move any mountain, or in His time, He will peacefully move you out of the way.

Ecclesiastes 7:13 "Consider what God has done. Who can straighten what He has made crooked?"

God sometimes places His children in very difficult places. It can become very hard to hear from God because of the situation, and all the other voices. Remember that He is not a God of disorder, "but peace..." (1 Corinthians 14:33).  His voice is peace and quiet. So be still, and hear His word speak to you, and guide you.

There is power in being still, and you get a much clearer picture. God is doing a great work in you, and in your hurt. It is a platform which your life will display His Almighty grace, and power. No one will be able to understand it, but you and your God.

If you are still when someone takes your picture, it catches your image (Selah).
If your view is blurry, then maybe you’re not being still long enough, so the Hand of the Photographer can give you a clearer picture. God has His purpose for each trial. He is conforming you, "to the image of His Son." (Romans 8:29). The crooked path should cause us to cling closer to Him.

Remember: "For the word of God is living and active." Hebrews 4:12.
"Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him." Proverbs 30: 5.

God is in that very difficult place with you. Rest in His Holiness. Let Him wash your eyes to see His Majesty. God will come through, and He will not delay.

This quote is taken from a devotional I read:
"The master works of God, are those men and women who stand in the midst of difficulties, steadfast, and unmovable. The one who would glorify God, MUST BE PREPARED to meet many trials. If than yours is a much tried path, rejoice in it, because you will better be able to display the all sufficient grace of God."
Trust Him on the crooked path to the end. Fight the good fight faithful servant.

P.S. “The willingness to wait, places the value on the object you’re waiting for” … Charles Stanley…

What are you waiting, and praying for? It could be right around the corner. If it’s valuable to you, than it is valuable to God.

Empty My Hands - Tenth Ave. North

Do you have voices inside your head, telling you what's right is really wrong? Are you giving in to them? Are you being held captive by the lies that you believe? Is your heart in constant chaos, and keeping you deceived.  Don't let your heart be a prisoner of war any longer, enslaved to what it wants, and what God is fighting for. Lay down your dark desires, and you'll find He will bring you back to life. Question is, have you given Jesus your whole heart?  He wants to have all of you. It’s the only way the battle can be won within you.

Luke 11:24-26 Is a great picture Jesus gave us of an unfortunate human tendency; kicking out one bad habit only for it to return with, "seven [others] more wicked than itself..."  Our desire to turn from immoral behavior doesn't last long.

When we think we could stop doing an immoral behavior all on our own, in our own power, we are kidding ourselves. We have no power on our own at all. That void needs to be filled with He Who is Holy, and who has all power against the evil that keeps returning, and when it does, it’s even stronger than before. This is because it is not enough to be emptied of evil, we must then be filled by the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish God's purpose in our lives.

Can you even comprehend this infinitely beautiful, and perfect love, that is so patient and merciful with us?

Nahum 1:3, "He is slow to anger, and great in power." Sin will not go unchecked forever. I would rather experience God's power to free me of what I know is sin, than to experience His wrath. We all should be thankful that God gives us all time to turn to Him.  If God punished evil immediately, none of us would stand a chance, but He's slow to anger.

Maybe you are struggling with some kind of addiction, or something you know is wrong to do and yet you keep returning to it. This void and weakness in your life can be filled forever. Give not just half your heart, but your whole heart to He Who is Holy, almighty, and powerful! There is nothing that the power of God can't break when you cry out to Him to free you, and fill you with His presence.

If your life is a roller coaster, and you don't want to be on that ride anymore, what are you waiting for? Are you loosing friends and loved ones because they don't want to be on that ride anymore with you? Then beat the devil in the face!! Go face to face with your God.

Pray.... Holy God, I want to be a person of character. I know simply getting rid of bad things in my life is not the answer in itself. I know Jesus, that You must fill my life with your presence, power, and purpose. So "Empty my hands," fill up my heart, capture my mind with You, Amen.

It is in your Precious Name I pray.
