Is
your crooked path coming to a point that is unbearable? Maybe it's a
loved one you have been praying for. You want so bad for them to be set
free, and come to know the salvation of Jesus Christ. Maybe it's you,
and issues you have and can't let go of. Remember something, and this is
VERY important. Evil NEVER SURRENDERS IT'S GRIP without a tremendous fight.
But Jesus is MIGHTY TO SAVE. Every lost soul needs compassion, the
kindness of a Savior, and only by His strength, and grace all
sufficient, can this be done through you. He can move any mountain, or
in His time, He will peacefully move you out of the way.
Ecclesiastes 7:13 "Consider what God has done. Who can straighten what He has made crooked?"
God
sometimes places His children in very difficult places. It can become
very hard to hear from God because of the situation, and all the other
voices. Remember that He is not a God of disorder, "but peace..." (1 Corinthians 14:33). His voice is peace and quiet. So be still, and hear His word speak to you, and guide you.
There
is power in being still, and you get a much clearer picture. God is
doing a great work in you, and in your hurt. It is a platform which your
life will display His Almighty grace, and power. No one will be able to
understand it, but you and your God.
If you are still when someone takes your picture, it catches your image (Selah).
If
your view is blurry, then maybe you’re not being still long enough, so
the Hand of the Photographer can give you a clearer picture. God has His
purpose for each trial. He is conforming you, "to the image of His Son." (Romans 8:29). The crooked path should cause us to cling closer to Him.
God
is in that very difficult place with you. Rest in His Holiness. Let Him
wash your eyes to see His Majesty. God will come through, and He will
not delay.
This
quote is taken from a devotional I read:
"The master works of God, are those men and women who stand in the midst of difficulties, steadfast, and unmovable. The one who would glorify God, MUST BE PREPARED to meet many trials. If than yours is a much tried path, rejoice in it, because you will better be able to display the all sufficient grace of God."
Trust Him on the crooked path to the end. Fight the good fight faithful servant.
P.S. “The willingness to wait, places the value on the object you’re waiting for” … Charles Stanley…
What are you waiting, and praying for? It could be right around the corner. If it’s valuable to you, than it is valuable to God.
