Let it Fade.... Jeremy Camp

Have you been standing on your own feet too long?

If you have been walking on a surface that is uncertain, and helping yourself to everything that’s empty, you won’t be able to  live this way too long. Or better said, you will never really have true happiness. There is still an empty spot waiting to be filled.
You can find rest, when you let the old life fade and the new life offered be your saving grace.

I love the story in the bible about the women at the well. Jesus knew all about this women. She was married 5 times, and now living with another man. We are all born with a desire to be accepted and loved. So why do some of us keep Jesus away from our deepest need. How long will we keep searching, keep having our hearts broken going from one relationship to another? Sooner or later you will see clearly the “One” relationship you need most is with Jesus first. Nothing else will satisfy you completely until you do.

Jesus is the living water. He provides, but you must decide. He will not force you to drink. Anything else besides Him can be deceitful. We will just continue to thirst. John 4 :13  Jesus said.. “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst.” Jesus is all satisfying to the emptiness that we continually try to fill with everything else. We will only continue to come up empty if we don’t realize that our souls are thirsty for spiritual food and water.

Yes, our hearts and our flesh will fail us because some of us are afraid to be alone. But if we allow God to fill us, He will be the strength in our weakness, and all our fears. Psalm 73 :26 “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” We are never alone. Jesus promises to be everything we need, but we need to stop clinging to our wants and cling to Him. Matthew 10: 39 “If you cling to your life, you will lose it, but if you give up your life for Me, you will find it.” This verse explains that clinging to what, and who we want, will only forfeit the BEST from God.

If you’re still looking for a place where you belong, let your old life crumble “Let it Fade.” Let this new life offered be your saving grace. So dive in and drink (Selah)

1 John 1: 9 tells us “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and WILL FORGIVE US our sins and purify us from ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.” Not just some of our sins, but all of them. Remember, “For it is by grace you have been saved…it is a GIFT of God”

NONE of us could ever be good enough. That is why we have a SAVIOR!!I pray you rest in this truth.

I'm still Yours.....Kutless

Beautiful lyrics to really pray about!!

Since it is the # 1 command, what is it to truly "Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength"  Deuteronomy 6:5...Mark 12: 30-31...Luke 10: 27...Matthew 22: 37..

The closer I desire to be to God, the more I understand "True Love" for Him. You can't conditionally love God. Just when things are all going right. Love for God should be under ALL conditions. No matter what is allowed to come our way. Whether it be a time of heartache for the loss of a loved one, a broken marriage, a time of illness that has put you down for a while, waiting for results from a surgery, or getting results you didn't want to hear and so on.... God knows and hears our prayers, and the prayers of others praying for the best for us. But if you really think about your relationship and love for Him, is He really enough for you? Will your broken heart still sing?

"If you lost it all, would your hands stay lifted, to the God who gives and takes away? When your life is not what you expected, and the plans you made have failed, and when there's nothing left to steal you away, WILL HE BE ENOUGH FOR YOU?"  Will anything separate you from the love of Christ? Romans 8: 31-39 I pray you read this scripture with an open loving heart for Jesus !

This is truly a willing growth area with God. I desire to have this kind of love for Him. I am not strong enough to face any trials in life, but He carries me through them ALL ! I have had marital problems. I have been diagnosed with severe nerve damage in my legs which has caused me to have drop foot. Not being able to do all the things I use to do in the gym, but still blessed enough to work out. I get scared every time I go for my mammograms because I have had several lumps removed. Each time hoping not to hear that this one is cancer. I have watched my husband battle a cancer that almost took his life. I believe God allows these things to happen in our lives, just like he did with Job and others in the bible who say they love Him. (Job 13: 15.) Luke 22: 31-33, Satan will continue to ask to "sift you as wheat" How will we run this race of life? They ran and won, and I want to run and win too ! SO get behind me Satan, nothing will stop my love for my God, or His for me !!

I believe with all my heart, that strength in any situation we are praying for comes when our mind is focused on God and His will in our lives. So knowing that prayers are being lifted and heard, knowing that God knows my fears, hopes and desires. Knowing that God has EVERYTHING in my life in the palm of His hands and under control, gives me great peace and strength of mind. This brings me to the point in my own prayer and love for Him to say, "Not my will Lord, but Yours be done." Complete surrender, ALL THAT WE ARE and hope for, to lay it all down at the foot of the cross and trust Him through EVERYTHING !

God WILL show Himself strong for those of us who trust Him. Our cross may break us to pieces, but the cross is where the POWER of Christ is in us !!

Jesus Move.... Big Daddy Weave

Romans 14: 1-15 "Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls." (This is great reading)

My prayer is that I will always be the voice for Jesus when the Spirit of God prompts me to do so. I am not ashamed to speak the truth of God's word anytime or any place. If a subject comes up and God has me there, then I will be that voice of truth.

Some lyrics to the song above.... "Let the Spirit of God pour out on us. For Your glory, for You only. What You say is what we'll do. Let Your passion become action. Holy Spirit come move." Jesus we're alive to glorify Your name!

The other day at work, my heart was so hurt. I didn't act upon it, I just prayed. This person is a friend, and a believer. The subject of abortion came up, and was being discussed in a room of people, and not everyone was a Christian. I said how I felt about it according to God's word and shared a very touching story I heard on a Christian radio station that morning. Coincidence; I don't think so. God was preparing me for this very conversation.
When I left the room, what was said about me was this... "She is too much with this religious stuff." Wow, and this came from a Christian friend. The most precious part of this hurt was the person who came and told me. He is a non-believer who usually likes to stir up trouble, but it was said to me in such a sincere, sympathetic way.

I pray for believers and non-believers alike, that we come, or grow, to realize it is NOT a RELIGIOUS thing. It is a relationship with Jesus, and the truth of ALL His word says.

What sad times it is when another brother or sister in Christ can talk about another, especially when it is around other people. This is how God uses us, and the words He places on our lips just might touch someone's heart when spoken in love. This is how God works on earth. His Spirit alive in us to glorify His name, for all He is, all He has done, and all He is going to do.

Jeremiah 31: 3, Do you remember when Jesus met you and said, "I have loved you with an everlasting love... I have blotted out your sins.... None of them shall be remembered." That alone just moves me! I know the power of His cross and I,   Psalm 138: 5 "shall sing of the ways of the Lord."  His love to me is extraordinary, 2 Samuel 1: 26, and that is enough to move me into action. Sometimes I can barely refrain from jumping out of my car and dancing for joy! When the burden of sin is lifted and you have a personal story, or stories of deliverance, you are so full of joy and want to bless others. Your life becomes so clear in knowing the reason why you are here.

So as the bible says in Psalm 34: 1, "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Magnify the Lord however He calls you to do so. Don't judge another's walk with Him. (Romans 14: 1-15)  Every one of us are called to be a witness of the truth. John 12: 26 "Whoever serves Me must follow Me; and where I am, My servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves Me."

So serve dear believers. Don't be distracted or discouraged by the opinions or thoughts of others. Let "Jesus move" in you. Your audience in "ONE"

She's in love... According to John

GREAT SONG!!

Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone!!

I hope EVERYONE is in love with HIM, because He is in love with ALL OF US!

May the light in our eyes be first ALL for Him. Then the love for others, even those who are hard to love comes easier.

Does He have a hold of your heart? He does mine, and He won’t let go.

Maybe you don’t have anyone this Valentine’s day. But there is “ONE” Who wants to be the LOVE OF YOUR LIFE EVERYDAY! You can believe this “ONE” will never let you go.  He loved you so much; John 3: 16 He died for you.  You can find all His love letters in the book called the “Bible.” It is the LIVING word of God. This is a BIG CARD, and the love words will always remain the same, year after year even if you change, He doesn’t. He loves you UNCONDITIONALLY! Where can you find a love like that?

Very hard today to find a love like that. So until you find this “ONE”, don’t waste your time. You will just bounce from one love to another trying to fill that void, or trying to fix someone.

Do you look to the sky and believe He hung the moon? Do you believe He walked on water? Do you believe He wrote you love letters? Do you believe He died for you? Well He did!

I have to smile every time I mention His Name! It truly is a match made in heaven.

Maker of the wind... Big daddy Weave

God must really laugh at me sometimes. Because when I'm all done with my little time of fear and crying, I have to laugh at myself. I know the "Maker of the wind" so whom, at what do I have to fear?

Mammogram time again, and 4 days of not hearing anything back from them, so of course I think I'm in the clear. I was singing for joy, and even called my mom and said, "well I guess I'm in the clear praise God!" I was even talking to God and said, "wow God, I can't believe this time when the test was being done I had no negative thoughts. I wasn't as scared as I use to be, thank you Father."

Then day 5.... I get a call on my way home from work. Her sweet soft voice said, "hello Kim, how are you today honey?" Well I knew something was up, so I said "let me pull over." She said "we need you to go and see a surgeon and get an opinion on what we saw." I don't need to tell you how that fear just creped itself right through every song I was singing, and every bible verse and promise I know! Talk about getting right to the point and not beating around the bush. I got so scared because of course they can't tell you anything. So now comes the next appointments to make, and the waiting game. Well I cried all the way home, so scared because I let my thoughts carry me so far away! The one thing I know I felt differently about, was I didn't ask God why? I was in full trust of Him knowing and holding EVERYTHING about this. Also that no matter what, I still, and always will love Him with my whole heart. Nothing will EVER change that.

Then day 6.... New day, new song, and a great word from God! I was singing again and not even knowing anything more than what I knew yesterday. I was still going to have to see a surgeon and hear what he sees from the films. But my belief, my hope and trust , my faith, was right back where my Father in heaven wanted it to be! Boy does that piss the enemy off. I love when God puts me, and holds me in this place!!!

Above is the song, and here are some of the lyrics that just made me so JOYFUL!... "Dark skies overhead, and I remember what You said, that You would NEVER leave. Rough waters all around, but here I am on SOLID GROUND as You reach down to me. If You are on my side, whom shall I fear?.... (Here's my favorite part).... "Well I know the Maker of the wind, the Master of the waves, forgiver of my sins. Well I know the One who holds my hope, so I won't be afraid when storms come blowing in. I KNOW THE MAKER OF THE WIND!!!

Yes I am human, and I will get tripped up from time to time. But God is so good, with a new word to remind me of how important faith in Him is. Jesus said in Matthew 8: 13 " Go your way as you have believed, so let it be done for you." God delights to do great things, if it is His will. When we exercise faith in God, we're telling Him, "I BELIEVE !!" To worry about anything is OUR OWN CHOICE, and lack of faith! God can't help that. He can heal us of anything if it is His will to do so. He does tell us in His word, "DO NOT WORRY." Worry is not of God, so let it go. That's when you will receive the "Peace that passes all understanding."

Love for God should be with NO CONDITIONS attached !! Just like He loves us. I love God in good, and bad, and scary times, because God is good all the time. He knows the number of my days, and I will trust Him always!  ......     So go ahead wind..... blow. My Maker holds me.

Oxygen..... Building 429

Don’t give up hope by giving in to the lies of the enemy.

Do you know God by a mental knowledge of Him, or a spiritual knowledge,? It will make all the difference of who you are, what you become, and how you see things. But most of all, your destiny!

John 3: 3-7 Jesus said, “Flesh gives birth to the flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to Spirit….. ‘You must be born again.”

Let me share something with you, if I knew then what I know now, I would breath “Him” in and hold my breath, just like this song says. He is my oxygen that brings me to life daily!

What a journey we are on. Getting tossed by the waves of life, and so quick to deny and faster to hide. Yet something keeps telling you “hold on and don’t let go!” The Holy Spirit truly is like oxygen that brings us to true life. Luke 24: 45-50 “I am going to send you what My Father has promised, but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” This is the voice that keeps telling you to hold on! It is a personal choice of every person to open up your heart and invite Him in.

Salvation is a miracle of the moment, but our growth is a lifelong walk with Him. The more filled we allow ourselves to be with His Spirit, the less power the enemy has in us. The enemy is NEVER going away this side of heaven. But because of the power of Christ within us, he can be resisted, James 4: 7.

So if you feel no growth in this area, where life just seems to always get the best of you, continually being easily tossed around by the waves of life. We need to ask ourselves, “am I truly born again?” Or maybe you are slowly going in another direction. Whatever the case, is your knowledge of Jesus Christ mental, or have you been Spiritually changed? The truth and your destiny is only 12 inches away from it just being head knowledge.
