I pray you listen to EVERY WORD of this song and it bows your heart to our Lord Jesus! Thank You Jesus.
Romans 8: 28-35
You hear a lot of people say, "I love this scripture. God is going to work everything out for my good."
Yes it's true, He will. But really meditate on this scripture. Resurrection Sunday did not come without good Friday. They call it good, only because it was good for us. Horrible suffering for Jesus, but good for us.
We will never have to face that horrible separation from God's presence at our hour of death like Jesus did. What a Savior! What a Friend! Can you even imagine the depths of darkness Jesus experienced when His Father turned away while all the sins of the world were cast upon Him as He hung suffering on the cross. All our sins, past, present, and future. I can't, and won't ever have to face that horror because of my faith in Jesus Christ.
To be conformed to the likeness of Jesus Christ is not going to be a comfortable process in life. But we will be comforted at our death PRAISE JESUS! Our lives have meaning, and purpose for the kingdom of God. Our eternal home. We are just pilgrims here. Yes all things will work out for our good, but it does not come without our own good Friday. Trouble, persecution, hardship of any kind that God allows to come our way.
Romans 8: 28-35...READ IT ALL for yourself. What could ever separate us from the love of God? What will it take in our lives to conform us to the likeness of His Son? Verse 32, "He did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all".... Matthew 20: 21- 23, Are we willing to drink from the cup of suffering? (Selah)
