James 2: 13 , Mercy triumphs over judgment. When we don't get what we deserve, that's mercy. When we get what we don't deserve, that's grace. That was provided by God our Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ.Reading the book of Micah. So far all through God's word, my eyes are open to what a loving patient Father He is. Countless times I have read that His judgment only comes after He gives countless opportunities to repent and turn to true worship and obedience. God hates sin, and he stands as the righteous judge. God's love is also real. So real that he sent Jesus Christ to save and accept judgment in our place. What love is that?God is our heavenly Father. And like any parent, he doesn't want to send judgment. But just like when we punish our children, it's our hope that it will get them back on the right path.People today love hearing what they want to hear. What makes them feel good. What will work for them. But life just isn't that way. God is patient with us. Wanting all to come to repentance, 2 Peter 3: 9.We can't call what is evil good, and what is good evil. But that seems to be the way the world is going. One of my favorite scriptures on this is in Romans chapter 1, versus 18 through 25. The Bible is either going to open your eyes to truth, or you will stay in darkness. No one knows when the day is coming when God says, "ENOUGH" But by the way things are going, it doesn't seem far from now. Are you ready? For Your glory LordKim D
