Authority... Elevation Worship

 https://youtu.be/2sX1xXzAO0E

"Creation knows the voice that spoke into the void."
Genesis 1
With one word God created the heavens and the Earth. With one breath, man became a living being, Genesis 2:7.

No matter what things look like, the darkness still fears His voice. 2 Corinthians 16: 9, Rely on the Lord and He will strengthen those of us who are fully committed to drive back the darkness. He did it before, and He will do it again.
1 Chronicles 29:10-13, " Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and Earth is Yours. Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom, You are exalted as head over all."
We need to rest, and keep being people of confident prayer and Kingdom purpose.  Things change on His authority!!  Any battle we are in is not our own. It's Spiritual, and everything is used for God's glory. Strongholds will be moved, and spirits will be silenced and cower at His rule. Heaven will prevail.
Look what He tells us in Ephesians 3: 7-21.  Paul became a servant of the gospel.  God's intent was that "through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,  according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord."..If we are totally submitted to his kingdom purposes, we  have this power within us. Verse 19, That we would be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. That's huge! Verse 20, and all glory goes to Him alone Who is able.
Always remembering our battles are not against flesh. It is spiritual. Ephesians 6: 10-12. So dress up Christian soldiers. It's all for the glory of God. Knowing in the end, we win! An eternal purpose.

Your promises.... Elevation Worship

 https://youtu.be/P9NkuQHUta4

One of the reasons I rush into my prayer room in the morning, is because I'm excited for what God has to say to me, and hopes that I can encourage you.  I put on my worship music first, to drown out any thoughts. It quiets my heart so I can listen.
Have you ever felt like peace is just impossible some days?  Unless it is received from Jesus, spending time in his presence, it is impossible. When he speaks, he creates peace. John 6 :63. The words He speaks, "are full of Spirit and life."
When I sit with Him, it's like, well He really is, sitting right with me.  Everywhere I go, everything that comes to tempt me into worry or anxiety,  He is there with me to deliver me, 1 Corinthians 10:13.
Things are going to come our way whether we like it or not, that will cause us to have worry or anxiety. God allows these things. But they are meant for us to seek Him and grow spiritually. To learn to apply His written word. To know His promises.
Even Jesus was led into the desert to be tempted, Matthew 4:1.  But He knew how to battle, and those promises are for us to.  When we feel anxiety or worry rising up, can we do like Jesus and say, "It is written."
Look at Job 1:8-12.. Luke 22:31..  You can see that the enemy is God's devil. He is a puppet on His string being used to cause us to fail. But God is growing us spiritually, if we can look at it from another perspective.
We need to turn our mind, eyes, ears, and heart to Him.  If you don't have a lovely relationship with Him, you will only see it your way. You will blame God. Maybe even stop believing. That is exactly what the enemy wants.
Are you troubled? Hebrews 12:2,  Then look to Jesus. Listen to Him, draw close to Him, by spending time in his word. You will be blessed. Confusion, worry, anxiety, will become still. There is no confusion, or worry, or anxiety in Jesus. John 14:27, "Let not your heart be troubled"....
Personally for me, my hope will always be His promises. Nothing can move His presence.
If you don't sense him, you moved. I pray He's your enough no matter what you see or feel.

God I look to You... Jenn Johnson

 https://youtu.be/CR5IoWH9OiI

2 Corinthians 5: 16-18...." So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen as temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
I love this truth, and I pray you believe it too. We live in the now, waiting for the "not yet." We are living in times that are going from bad to worse. How do you keep some kind of peace? For me, I know I'm not home yet, and I've become more and more a person of prayer. Looking more at what's coming, than what's now.
I love verse 7 of this chapter. " But we have this treasure in Jars of Clay to show that this all surpassing power is from God and not from us." What a gift. This inner strength from the Holy Spirit, Ephesians 3: 16.
I know people right now in my life who are going through some unbearable situations. I am inspired by the strength I see in them. Only God can do this in them. They look to Him. They keep their eyes fixed on Him. They seek Him daily!! They are not overwhelmed, because He gives them vision to see things Spiritually, and only God can do this in someone when you remain in Him, John 15:4. Apart from Him we spiral down.
More than ever, we have to see things from another perspective or you can become full of fear and anxiety. Just what the enemy wants, so he can devour your health. His time is getting shorter.
The times that we are in, are either going to have you full of "whys" , or you can be full of God's view. But you won't have that. You won't shout Hallelujahs if you keep your eyes on the temporary.
Become a person of prayer. Desiring to spend more time with Jesus. Desperate to see things from another perspective. His perspective. Look more to His return, and share the hope you have with others. People are hurting. They are desperate for answers. God tells us to be prepared to give an answer for the hope we have, 1 Peter 3:15.
Our God reigns! Sing it over your family, the government, the broken, the hopeless.
Sing it... HALLELUJAH OUR GOD REIGNS!

Awake my Soul... Hillsong

 https://youtu.be/FYVtW3FYQUI

" There is a sound that changes things. The sound of His people on their knees. Oh wake up you slumbering. It's time to worship him."

Romans 13: 11, " The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed."
Haggai 2:6-9, " Be strong, all you people of the land, declares the Lord, and work. For I am with you"...
We must be people of prayer. But also people of work. Work that God has in mind for us to do. He knows we can change the way of this world through prayer and obedience to Him. God has given all of us a job to do in the church family, employment, home, gym, wherever He says go.
Verses 6 and 7, Here in these verses, and many other areas in the Bible, you will read of God shaking the heavens and the Earth. It shows his his complete control of history, and the time that we are in. There is the present judgment of God on all evil, and there will be future judgment in the last days.
I love the powerful lyrics of this song. It gets me excited to be part of His plan and purpose. I am humbled and honored to be His. One that He chose to be in this place and time of His-tory.
" And when He moves, and when we pray, where stood a wall, now stands a way. Where every promise is amen. And when He moves, make no mistake. The bowels of hell begin to shake."
That just excites me!!!! And we have been chosen to be a part of it! Be thankful where He's placed us, and pray for those who are in other countries doing their part. It's time to rise up.
I saw this post saying the other day: "There's no time left to wake the other sheep. It's time to wake the other lions."

Hosanna.

 https://youtu.be/KdQB9iOpBp4

Habakkuk chapters 1,2,3... Powerful!

I've been praying for some time now for God to break my heart in the areas that his heart is broken. There are so many teardrops on the pages of my Bible. It is so alive. My heart breaks for the younger generation.  My heart breaks for my grandchildren.  My heart breaks for the lost. MY HEART BREAKS FOR GOD.  This world is spitting on the grace He has offered us through his suffering Son.  We are being disciplined! The whole world!  God is speaking the only way He can.  Shaking things! You can turn a blind eye if you choose. But it will be put in your face one way or another.
I hate watching the news, but sometimes it's just in your face. Yes, the media likes to rile you up. But what they put out there is happening. They call what's right wrong, and what's wrong right.
I pray that if you are not going to church, or bringing your children to church, you are opening your Bible at home and teaching your children. Everyone wants to go back to normal, but I don't believe that will ever happen.  Stop making excuses.  There are people in countries that are dying just because they are having church, and we make every excuse not to go.You only breathe, because God has given you the breath to take each second.  We only eat, because God has provided. Without Him we have nothing. Psalm 104, read it! We are spoiled, and we are being disciplined. Habakkuk 3: 5-6, " Plague went before him, pestilence followed in his steps. He stood, and shook the Earth, he looked, and made the nation's tremble."  Are we trembling yet? Do you feel the shaking? What is it going to take for those of us who follow Christ to live as loud as the world is living? Stop saying it's not your business. It is our business and a command from Jesus Christ. Don't worry about who you offend when the Holy Spirit is telling you to speak something. Aren't you tired of being offended by all that you see being shoved in your face? Our kids are seeing it too. It's time to rise up! Way overdue!
Don't wait till it's too late. Get right with God through Jesus Christ his son.

Love that Saves... Chris McClarney

 https://youtu.be/9tsOumHGics

Ephesians 5: 18 ".... but be filled with the Spirit. 2 Peter 1:3, " His divine power has given us everything we need"....

Who can do the impossible. No one but Jesus.

I wanted to share something that I am aware of, because of experiencing it.  We call it addictions, but I would rather call it a stronghold. No matter what it may be.... alcohol, drugs, food, caffeine, pornography, .... So many things in our life that can be broken.

Most addictions, (strongholds) don't come on a person suddenly. Rather they develop as we experiment, and then continue because we like how it makes us feel satisfied or whole. Then we become physically dependent.  Anything that we depend on to escape, cope with,  or find relief from the struggles and stresses of life, is a stronghold.
There is an empty place in all of us that nothing can fill but Jesus Christ.  Maybe you were hurt. Maybe you don't feel that you're good enough for anything. Maybe you think you're too far gone to do anything about it. All are lies of the enemy. We have to address the physical with the spiritual.

Our bodies are the temple of the living God, and anything that controls us makes us slaves to something other than God. Romans 6 versus 12 through 14.
Because of what Jesus has done for us, we are made alive in Him.  It's our choice. We can either align ourselves with the truth of God's solution, or continue to spiral down.  God is always waiting with open arms hoping for us to choose Him.

1 Corinthians 10:13  God will always provide a way out. We can choose to believe this truth. Or we will more than likely continue to experience 1st Peter chapter 5 verse 8.  Satan will always look for a way to devour us. Our health, our relationships, you name it. He's ruthless!

Don't wait till it's too late.  Do something about it now. Don't wait to get a doctor's report and then say,  "oh how I wish I listened."

No power on earth can ever stop what the Holy Spirit starts in you.  When you feel that craving coming on, ask God to meet you right there.

More like Jesus ... Kristian Stanfill. Passion

 https://youtu.be/-bKxYbVCXoQ

Matthew 19: 16-22

Jesus counted His status as nothing. The King of all kings came to serve. He willingly died for you and me. He had everything, and left it for us. I can't even wrap my head around this.

Reading the story of the rich young ruler who had everything. He was in position of power. He followed all the 10 commandments. But you can see he wasn't willing to follow Jesus. He even asked Jesus in verse 20, "what do I still lack?" Well, Jesus told him what he didn't want to hear, "Sell everything, and follow me".....I think we would all have a problem with selling "EVERYTHING!" I know I would be like, "Jesus, did I hear you right? I will follow You. But do I really have to sell everything?" To be honest, I wonder if God were to ever speak that to my heart now, how would I respond? I would only hope, and ask Him to help me respond obediently. I think this is something we should all ask ourselves.

"If more of You, means less of me, take everything."......Hard truth!

Read the rest of the verses 25 - 30, and may it speak to our hearts and change us as only He can.

Red Rock Worship... All i want

 https://youtu.be/qjJ24n4KL20

"Flood my eyes, till all I see is your light."

Mark 8: 34-37 " If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?"
The Greek word for deny is, "forget oneself and lose sight of one's interest."  Surrendering to Jesus is setting aside our selfish appetites.

I think we all know that what we have on Earth is only temporary. We work like crazy to get the things we want. I know some people who worked way past retirement age just to either pay off stuff, or have more stuff. Jesus pretty much says in this scripture, that a world of pleasure,  centered on possessions, position, or power is ultimately worthless. It's only temporary. It cannot be exchanged for our soul. We don't know when our last day on earth will be.

John 3:16-17, God's desire is to have more of us, now, and for all eternity. But He doesn't push Himself on us. Our desire should be to want more of Him.

The older I get, I have found that nothing satisfies like Jesus. There is always that empty hole. Trying to fill it with stuff. Or like me, an over booking of vacations when I  became a widow. Trying to fill the pain of loss.
All this is good,  but not if any of it comes before God being our delight, and bringing glory to His Name. There will always be that empty hole. That's just the way God works. He wants to show us that He is true joy and peace.

Psalm 107:9,  and John 6:35, There is a never ending thirst that this world will never satisfy. I don't care how much you have, or where you travel. It's all meaningless if you don't have a relationship with Jesus, Ecclesiastes 1: 3-4.

Restore my Soul... Vertical Church Band

 https://youtu.be/RT0f0YrPbHk

Psalm 23 speaks so many things. But this song made me think of the verse that says: "He makes me lie down in green pastures,  He leads me besides still water's, He restores my soul."
Jesus is my savior, but he also wants to be my shepherd. Obediently following him when I sence Him directing me. John 10: 27-28. Jesus says His sheep hear His voice and follow. Are we listening and following? Or are we making excuses?
He has plans and a purpose for me. For all of us who call Him Savior. It's not just to go to heaven when we pass on.
I know with all my heart, that one day I will be in heaven. But while I am here, I want to experience heaven on Earth in all the craziness. He wants me, and you,  to experience that too.
Sometimes, at least for me,  He will make me lie down. Those times that we wonder, why we are going through what we are not liking very much? But those are the times that He gets us, when we are done complaining, to look to Him. At least some do.
What sin remains? He wants every part of our life to mirror Jesus. To not call right, what He says is wrong. Proverbs 3: 11-12, I don't like being disciplined, but I know it's for my own good, and because He loves me. So how long I lie down while He restores my soul, is up to my obedience.
He will do whatever it takes to finishing verse 3, "He guides me in paths of righteousness FOR HIS NAME SAKE."
He is Holy, and He cares a great deal about cleaning us up. It's for "His Names sake."

Mercy... Amanda Cook

 https://youtu.be/sILwvJShMV8

James 2: 13 , Mercy triumphs over judgment.

When we don't get what we deserve, that's mercy. When we get what we don't deserve, that's grace. That was provided by God our Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Reading the book of Micah. So far all through God's word, my eyes are open to what a loving patient Father He is.  Countless times I have read that His judgment only comes after He gives countless opportunities to repent and turn to true worship and obedience.  God hates sin, and he stands as the righteous judge. God's love is also real. So real that he sent Jesus Christ to save and accept judgment in our place. What love is that?

God is our heavenly Father. And like any parent, he doesn't want to send judgment. But just like when we punish our children, it's our hope that it will get them back on the right path.

People today love hearing what they want to hear. What makes them feel good. What will work for them. But life just isn't that way. God is patient with us. Wanting all to come to repentance,  2 Peter 3: 9.

We can't call what is evil good, and what is good evil. But that seems to be the way the world is going.  One of my favorite scriptures on this is in Romans chapter 1, versus 18 through 25. The Bible is either going to open your eyes to truth, or you will stay in darkness.

No one knows when the day is coming when God says, "ENOUGH" But by the way things are going, it doesn't seem far from now. Are you ready?
