God I Look to You. Jenn Johnson

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=dEubLmNPxwg&feature=share

How do we see Jesus? I just don't see Him as a good teacher. But as my Lord and Savior. My healer, provider, my peace, my strength, my hope......
Draw near to Him and allow Him to touch you. He can, and will, give you a fresh vision for life.

I absolutely love the word of God and when you read it again, and again different things jump out at you. That's because the word is so alive. I never took notice the scripture says the blind men's vision was restored.  Meaning they once did see.  They also realized that He was Lord, not just a great teacher. He was healer.
We can all at times lose our spiritual sight.  Disappointment, discouragement, heartache. Has something stolen your spiritual vision and hope?  We need to remind ourselves of Who He is and who we are IN HIM.  Then ask Him for a fresh touch of awakening and spiritual vision.
Matthew 9: 27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”“Yes, Lord,” they replied.29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; 30 and their sight was restored.
Touch us Lord as only you can.

Monday morning faith SEU worship

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=PdLyaN_a1wI&feature=share

Just like any love relationship. You want to spend all the time that you can with that person. How do you really get to know someone if you don't spend a lot of time with them?
I love the lyrics of this song. How do you get through the rough in life on just Sunday morning church service? Hell isn't scared of just Sunday Faith. What makes darkness run is a, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Faith.

I love what I read today and the definition of meditate. It's the same word as rumination... A term used for describing what cows do with their cud.  Cows will eat a mouthful of grass, chew it up and swallow it, vomit it back up and go through the same process. This is the exact idea behind the word meditate. God intends for us to look at a passage, chew on it, study it inside and out and then do it all over again. Joshua chapter 1 verse 8, "The book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will have good success."....  God never intended for us to have a casual relationship with Him.  That is all you will get from casual Bible reading.  He desires an intimate relationship with us. That's giving Him the time that He deserves.  The One who gives us breath every day and opens our eyes every morning to a new day. Love on Him through His word. His word is Who He is. Always ask the Holy Spirit to give you the wisdom to define the scriptures correctly. We study for knowledge. He gives us the wisdom.
All glory to the King of kings. It's everyday I need you Lord.

God I look to You. Jenn Johnson

There are certain things in our lives that we can't change.  Things that cause pain, fear, disappointment.  Jesus, You use these things to transform our hearts and our perspective, and to bring you glory. Lord,  You are what gives our lives meaning and joy. Help us to fix our eyes on You. You came so we could not just live life.  But live it abundantly. Thank You that You came to give us life in all its fullness. The enemy comes to steal. So please protect my heart,  my mind,  my thoughts.  It takes time, and it's not always easy. But as we keep our eyes fixed on You, our perspective and feelings change for the better. John 10:10
Thank You Jesus for life, and a chance to share all You are with others.

Known by Love Chris McClaren

How will we share the great Words we have to others.. "In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, WALK".... I never really noticed this in this passage. But today it stuck out.  This is a story about a crippled man from birth who was being carried to the temple gate called beautiful. He was put there every day to beg. Acts 3: 4-6 "Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!". So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.  Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."   What really stuck out to me was Peter saying, look at us! What are we thinking we really need?  What are the things we are looking at to bring us pleasure? Money can't buy what Jesus has to give.  Peter gave him something so much better than money. Jesus Christ is what we need.

God's word tells us in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 18, "All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation"...  Wherever people need God, He stands ready to be used by us.  God has entrusted, and empowered us to shine his light and show his love to a broken world, and broken relationships.  Help others to the arms of Jesus Christ.

Lord Jesus, help us to speak Your Word with authority and conviction. Gives us eyes to see those that sit in pain and depression. Help us to be that vessel to lift their eyes to You.

I love you lord.  All for your glory.

Reason I sing..Phil Wickham

 https://youtu.be/w9UHWFuHUt8

Does the time for Christ's return seem to be approaching very soon? No one really knows. Are there scriptures, things that have been prophesied to give us some awareness, yes. If you are not in the word, you would just think that things are just getting really bad. When it's really signs that the day is approaching. Are you ready for that day? Are you worried about all the things that you see on the news? Its all written. We are watching History unfold. Even those of us who are in the word and have some understanding of what has been prophesied, it can still be heartbreaking. I say this because I worry about family members and friends who might not be saved.
If you've put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have everything to sing about. I can't be silent, and either should you be. The world is screaming. We should scream louder. We should live a life that testifies about His grace and mercy. A Savior who calls us friend. A Savior Who died for us while we were yet sinners. Romans 5: 6-8 " You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."...
God loved and died for us before we even turned to Him. That's something I cannot take lightly. I can't even wrap my head around it.
So for the cross that He bore, and the debt that He paid. For the victory He won over death and the grave. I will forever sing.
This world can bring all it wants to, and it will. But it will also come to an end. I pray you understand what's happening. Jesus already has victory. We are part of His story that one day, maybe soon, is coming to an end. Are you ready for that day?
For Your glory Lord

Enough.. Chris Tomlin

 https://youtu.be/87Ig-lnWjzQ

I love sharing my experiences through blogging, and especially when a song pops up as soon as I get in my car after the experience.
I was at the gym and a gentleman who knows me very well, knows my love for the Lord. But I guess he doesn't understand what being truly satisfied is. We talk all the time. But this time he was a little more forward.  He said to me... "You always smell so good." I said... "Thank you." He said.... "You need someone to love you." I said... "I do, and pointed up." He said... "No, I mean flesh." I said... "The love I have from the Lord is stronger than love from the flesh." He said... "don't you like to hug?".. I said... "Of course I do. I hug all my friends", and hugged him.  I said... "But I really get great long lasting hugs from my littlest grandson."  We both laughed.  He said... "You need more than that."  I said.... "Oh NO I don't. My Jesus is enough and totally satisfies." He said.. "Well, since we are friends can I have your number.?"  I said.... "Maybe when Jesus is your enough, I might think about it." He laughed and walked away.
He's a nice looking man. Has an awesome job as an anesthesiologist. But ladies, let Jesus be your enough before anything else. I know that I know, if the Lord wants me to be with someone again,  He will make it perfectly clear.
One of my favorite stories in The Bible  is of the samaritan woman in John chapter 4 versus 7 through 26. Read it. She was never satisfied until she met Jesus. That's how powerful His love is. He will sweep you right off your feet, right at that moment. You will never be the same again. You will never search for love in different areas or substances.
 All for Your glory Lord.

You define me. Kim Walker

 https://youtu.be/RaR39AUUMLo

Transformed.. Transforming.. Transgender.. True transformation is in Jesus Christ alone.  That's where our identity is found. Problem is, too many peoples eyes are blinded and minds are deceived.  2 Corinthians 3:18, "And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being TRANSFORMED into His likeness with every increasing glory, which comes from the lord, who is the Spirit.  The truth about Christ, is it transforms us morally as we understand and apply it. As we deepen our knowledge by spending time with Jesus, in His Word, in fellowship with others,  in church, our knowledge deepens, and the Holy Spirit helps us to change.
Proverbs 22:6, Deuteronomy 6: 6-8..Problem is, many parents today are not teaching their children, or even leading their children in the way that they should go because they don't even have that relationship with Jesus themselves. If they did, we wouldn't have so many confused children in not knowing their identity at a very young age.  At a young age, parents are allowing their children to be whatever they want to be. This is so sad, and parents falling into the lie of the enemy and not even knowing they are.  And before you think I'm judging. Read the scriptures above. It's His words, not mine.  Speaking God's word is not judging.
Colossians 2:6-9,  This scripture speaks of receiving Christ as  Lord of your life. It is the beginning of life. But you must be rooted, and built up, and strengthened in the faith. This is done by spending time with Him.  The more time you spend with Jesus, the more you know that you're Identity is in Him.
Now before you get really ticked off at me. Let me tell you, I have many gay friends. I even have gay relatives.  I love them. I pray for them daily. Hoping that 1 day their eyes will be unveiled. I will never encourage what they are doing. I will only point them to the truth. Because only the truth can set a person free, John 8: 31-32.
My heart breaks for what I see on the news. I know God's heart must be torn apart.  He loves his creation. He loves you and me so much, He sent His Son to die for our sins and set us free. He is the Creator Who made you either male or female. He was not confused when He made you.  Confusion is from the enemy.
Lord, may you always be glorified.  I write out of obedience to You.  Also for those that I love and I am praying for.
