The narrow way. Stephanie Gretzenger

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=ob2Wxc4pgyE&si=qCv5wn5v9NTxJ2NU

The lyrics of this song are powerful.  " Lead me, teach me, keep me from wandering." Psalm 119:10.  That's what I ask of Him.
“I will reward them” God promises a long life to the person who trusts Him and loves Him. It could be here on earth, it could be in eternity. This verse is a promise that secures our future but it also starts now. “and give them my salvation”
Psalm 91:14-16
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
I can't walk this narrow road that Jesus asks of me without Him leading me and guiding me. I need to be taught.  He gave us all a Helper. The Holy Spirit,  always making intercession for us.Romans 8:26. We have Jesus, Who is seated at the right hand of His Father supporting us. Can it get any better than that? You can try fighting battles on your own.  Trying to understand things on your own. Not me, I choose the power of this team.  The Holy Trinity.  It's the only thing that keeps me on the right path, and in a peacefull, positive mindset,  1 Corinthians 2:16
We have the Bible. The Living Word that speaks to us daily. It's our choice to pick it up and be filled up by it. Or we can choose like so many others to be led by our own understanding of things. My question is, how is it going for you so far if you are not seeking Him through his word?  There are so many ups and downs in life. Watching the horror on the news, politics, all can leave you pretty frustrated. Health issues, family issues, parenting problems, we have a Helper. He wants to be called on.
Every day I speak to Him throughout my day. I need Him. He wants me to call on Him in all my questions, dicision making, everything! He wants to be involved. He will keep you on that narrow road.  Sadly, it's the road less traveled.
 For your glory Lord always..

The struggle. Zach Williams

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=e3DFQ75CpHc&si=7i8aokYhI04gdCJm

Wow!!! These lyrics are so powerful!
There is such an advantage of believing God's Word, in that we don't have to learn by hard experience the destructive results of addictions. If we don't call out in repentance and for the Lord's help, these addictions can kill you. It can cut your life short. The enemy is a liar and he wants to cut your life short, John 10:10.
Are you tired and torn? Are you at the point where you can't take it anymore? Do you go to substances to make you feel better? All God wants is for us to seek Him. Return to Him. You will find all that you need to fill that empty spot. Jeremiah 3: 21-22 ..." Return, faithless people, I will cure you of backsliding." Our world glorifies the thrill of partying, wealth, competition, sexual pleasure, and ignores the sin that is so often associated with these thrills. Such a deception. Most people can't see this until they are destroyed by it.
Jeremiah 4: 1-3 "If you will return, O Israel, return to me.... Break up your unplowed ground and do not sow among thorns. Circumcise yourselves to the Lord circumcise your hearts,"... Whatever addiction we hold onto. Whatever idle it is. That deception will keep our hearts hardened. It's a choice to stay here. Or seek Jesus through the written Word to break those chains. His Word is alive. IT'S LIFE! Then the hardened heart becomes receptive to the truth, breaking up the unplowed ground. Change begins here.
So if you're weary, if you're worn. If you can't take it anymore. Then pick up the Bible. It can save you from destroying your life here. But most importantly, you will spend all eternity when this life is over with our Lord and Savior and all our loved ones who have put their Faith in Jesus Christ forever and ever.
I know the truth of what addictions can do. I lost the love of my life, my husband way too early. But the peace I have is knowing that I will see him one day. He put his Faith in Jesus Christ.
I pray this sets someone free before its too late. I know people say when my times up it's up. But we can also help that time to come sooner by making horrible choices. Don't kid yourself. These kind of addictions will wear your health out at an early age. Alcohol, pills, whatever substance you turn to for comfort there is one who is always waiting with open arms. Turn to Jesus Christ.

Holy Forever.. Jenn Johnson

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=ybzr6M5z1ZI&si=iTHzA7j5Rpz1wq41

Reading Isaiah chapter 55. This is so packed with a beautiful Word for us.  Versus 1 through 6..  Food cost money, lasts only a short time and meets only our physical needs. But God offers us free nourishment that feeds our soul. We get it by coming to Him, by listening to Him, by seeking and calling on Him.  Salvation is freely offered, but we have to nourish our souls. Our soul is our inner being. Filled with emotions of all kinds. God's word sooths our souls.  His word continues to change us inwardly. Spiritually we would starve without his word, just as we would physically die without food. Verse 6 of this chapter,  Seek the Lord while he may be found.. Where do you find Him? This made me look back at Isaiah chapter 35 verse 8..   the Way of Holiness.... That's what all His children should be after.
That is why Jesus tells us in John 7: 37-38, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."..
If you've been forgiven and if you've been redeemedSing the song forever to the LambAnd if you walk in freedom, if you bear His NameSing the song forever to the LambSing the song forever and amen
Thank You Lord Jesus

God I Look to You. Jenn Johnson

How do we see Jesus? I just don't see Him as a good teacher. But as my Lord and Savior. My healer, provider, my peace, my strength, my hope......
Draw near to Him and allow Him to touch you. He can, and will, give you a fresh vision for life.

I absolutely love the word of God and when you read it again, and again different things jump out at you. That's because the word is so alive. I never took notice the scripture says the blind men's vision was restored.  Meaning they once did see.  They also realized that He was Lord, not just a great teacher. He was healer.
We can all at times lose our spiritual sight.  Disappointment, discouragement, heartache. Has something stolen your spiritual vision and hope?  We need to remind ourselves of Who He is and who we are IN HIM.  Then ask Him for a fresh touch of awakening and spiritual vision.
Matthew 9: 27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”“Yes, Lord,” they replied.29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; 30 and their sight was restored.
Touch us Lord as only you can.

Monday morning faith SEU worship

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=PdLyaN_a1wI&feature=share

Just like any love relationship. You want to spend all the time that you can with that person. How do you really get to know someone if you don't spend a lot of time with them?
I love the lyrics of this song. How do you get through the rough in life on just Sunday morning church service? Hell isn't scared of just Sunday Faith. What makes darkness run is a, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Faith.

I love what I read today and the definition of meditate. It's the same word as rumination... A term used for describing what cows do with their cud.  Cows will eat a mouthful of grass, chew it up and swallow it, vomit it back up and go through the same process. This is the exact idea behind the word meditate. God intends for us to look at a passage, chew on it, study it inside and out and then do it all over again. Joshua chapter 1 verse 8, "The book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will have good success."....  God never intended for us to have a casual relationship with Him.  That is all you will get from casual Bible reading.  He desires an intimate relationship with us. That's giving Him the time that He deserves.  The One who gives us breath every day and opens our eyes every morning to a new day. Love on Him through His word. His word is Who He is. Always ask the Holy Spirit to give you the wisdom to define the scriptures correctly. We study for knowledge. He gives us the wisdom.
All glory to the King of kings. It's everyday I need you Lord.

God I look to You. Jenn Johnson

There are certain things in our lives that we can't change.  Things that cause pain, fear, disappointment.  Jesus, You use these things to transform our hearts and our perspective, and to bring you glory. Lord,  You are what gives our lives meaning and joy. Help us to fix our eyes on You. You came so we could not just live life.  But live it abundantly. Thank You that You came to give us life in all its fullness. The enemy comes to steal. So please protect my heart,  my mind,  my thoughts.  It takes time, and it's not always easy. But as we keep our eyes fixed on You, our perspective and feelings change for the better. John 10:10
Thank You Jesus for life, and a chance to share all You are with others.

Known by Love Chris McClaren

How will we share the great Words we have to others.. "In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, WALK".... I never really noticed this in this passage. But today it stuck out.  This is a story about a crippled man from birth who was being carried to the temple gate called beautiful. He was put there every day to beg. Acts 3: 4-6 "Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!". So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.  Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."   What really stuck out to me was Peter saying, look at us! What are we thinking we really need?  What are the things we are looking at to bring us pleasure? Money can't buy what Jesus has to give.  Peter gave him something so much better than money. Jesus Christ is what we need.

God's word tells us in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 18, "All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation"...  Wherever people need God, He stands ready to be used by us.  God has entrusted, and empowered us to shine his light and show his love to a broken world, and broken relationships.  Help others to the arms of Jesus Christ.

Lord Jesus, help us to speak Your Word with authority and conviction. Gives us eyes to see those that sit in pain and depression. Help us to be that vessel to lift their eyes to You.

I love you lord.  All for your glory.
