Working out our salvation as this scripture says, what does that mean to you? Is it just saying with your mouth that you believe in Jesus Christ? Then you make the next step of being baptized, going to church, reading your Bible. It's so much more than that. There's no fear of the Lord anymore, like this scripture says. People pick and choose like God is some kind of buffet God. Our hearts should break for what breaks His heart. We should desire to look more and more like Him, because with each day as the bible says, we die daily to self.

Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."....   Jesus tells us in scripture to remain in Him so that we can bear much fruit. Apart from him we can do nothing, John 15:4. The fruit of the spirit are, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self control, Galations 5:22-23.... 

We all need to do a self check. I want to know that I am truly His because the day seems like it is approaching fast.

Luke 12:40 "You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

Ezekial 43:1-12

When the glory of the Lord returns to the church, only then will the nation be blessed.

For God to return to the culture, His conditions have to be met. The house of Israel was defiling God's Holy Name by their prostitution, and the lifeless idols. Verse 8 really gets me. They placed there threshold next to His threshold. Government then, and government now, still intrudes on the rule of God. Romans 13:1-4. The role of the government is to act on God's behalf. But we have allowed politics to dictate to the kingdom of God by keeping our mouths shut too long. Isaiah 5: 20-21 " Woe to those who call evil good in good evil.... Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight."... God has a view on everything and we should see as He sees. Remove God and we will continue to be a nation that goes under. Continuing to decline. Romans 1: 18-32, If we no longer look to God for his perspective on things He will continue to allow decay. Psalm 33:12, A nation is blessed who recognizes His policies. Psalm 22:28, Leave God out and the nations are in trouble. Government should reflect God for the well being of society. If we want to be a blessed nation, we need to have God's perspective on all things, not just what we choose.

He is Holy.

Lord God, we are praying. As Your Word says, to seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways.Then you will hear from heaven, 2 Chronicles 7:14

Genesis 11:3-4... explained: Let's come up with our own plan on how the world should work. Back then it was tar and mortar. Using what they had. Their tower was a religious symbol. It would go all the way up to heaven. It wouldn't be that heaven would come down to them. They would go there. How crazy! They had enough religion to have a form of godliness. But not enough to operate its reality. Verse 4 ..we may make a name for ourselves... Why do they want to be known by their own name? Because they don't want to be known by God's name. They want to be known by their own authority and not answer to a Higher Being. Just like people say today... "I know my truth".. Well, if it's not God's truth, it's no truth at all. They didn't want God, they wanted their independence and that is what is happening today. The Word of God should mean more to us than Democrat or Republican. We are a nation under God. So what does the God over the nation want us to do in all things that we are voting for? Verse 5-7.. the Lord came down.. Are we living by what everyone else thinks? What's good for me? Or by what the Word of God says? We bear the consequences of the choices that we make. The cry for independence is not good for a society against God. There is so much confusion today. No one really has an answer for anything. Just a bunch of promises. Read verse 7, and who do you think is confusing everything? The confusion exists because the independence exists. Powerful message. Romans 8:29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

Some say that one way to reflect Christ is through love and compassion. This could mean extending kindness, understanding, and empathy to others, similar to how Jesus showed unconditional love and compassion to those he encountered. Others say that it means representing Christ alive in us, and letting him radiate out of us in our words, attitudes, and actions.

 In all things, be a reflection of Christ. Especially those that it is hard to be that reflection. But to me, today before I went into Surgery for my hip, I had a wonderful conversation with the nurse about Jesus Christ. She is also a believer. If you know me, I am a blabbermouth for my Savior and I won't stop. When she went to get this cap to put on my head she was shocked at what she saw on the front. Now she could have put it on anyway. But it just so happened to turn out that it landed in the front. If it landed in the back, we both wouldn't have known it was there. She said, "i've been here thirty six years and I have never seen this. What the heck." Well, I shared with her immediately  what it spoke to my heart. I told her "everywhere I go I love to talk about Jesus. I will always bring Him up because it makes great conversation, sometimes. If not, I just back off and pray for that person.I told her what it spoke to my heart, "He's telling me to keep reflecting Him."  Well, she grabbed my arm and almost in tears said. "yes my sister." Then she wheeled me into another room to prepare for rehab. Twenty minutes later she came back to that area and said.  "I will never forget what just happened." Jesus is amazing and He wants to be talked about. Everywhere we go there is an opportunity.

I bet there isn't one person who isn't praying for change in this nation. Well, maybe not everyone is praying, but you certainly are hoping for change. Our hope should be only in the Lord Jesus Christ. Not in any man. God is after His glory. There is a condition in God's Word for Him to intervene. That condition is put on the church. The people of "The Way". That is followers of Christ. Who He Himself says that He is the way, the truth, and the life, John 14:6. 

2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place." .. 

Seek His face. But many want to take God out of everything. Oh, and don't mention the name Jesus Christ because someone might be offended. Too bad. I'm offended by all the garbage that is being allowed. I've got grandchildren and nieces and nephews and I care about their future. 

We the church, should be on bended knees, with our hands lifted high telling God how much we need Him to Intervene in this mess that we are a part of because we are half stepping. He wants both feet in. Not showing partiality in the matters of the law, Malachi 2:9, and not a lukewarm Christian, Revelation 3:15-16. Malachi 3:7 He tells us,  "Ever since the time of your forefathers, you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me and I will return to you, says the LORD Almighty.".. I'm so glad God doesn't leave us guessing with what He wants from His people who follow Him. But if you're not in the Word you will just continue with what you think is right. We are supposed to think like Christ, and He says in His word that we have the mind of Christ,1 Corinthians 2:16.

Worldly people do what they do. Those things shouldn't surprise us. But when people can't tell the difference between Christ's followers and the world, there's a problem. We have been set apart to be the salt and the light of this world. Love on people, but love them with the truth. It's the truth that sets a person free, John 8:32.

I remember the day the Spirit of truth broke through from my head, to my heart and soul, and I will never be the same. Going to church doesn't save you. Going to bible study classes doesn't save you. These inform you of the truth that will set you free. But it is up to you to receive and believe and become a child of God, John 1:12-13. Crazy thing is, you really find out who your true friends are when you try to share what has happened to you and they think you're crazy.  I still will never stop sharing about my best Friend, Jesus Christ. My audience is One. It's His opinion that matters to me. 

Galations 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

11 I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. 12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.

We all may not like the things that we were chosen for to glorify God. But that truly is the reason why we are here. He hand picked us for something greater thank we are, or can do. He does it through us if we would only allow him.....

Have you ever run from God? I have, and when He has a purpose, and a plan you won't get away with running away. I remember when things got really out of hand with my marriage. I would always run to my mom's. Well, I guess God had about enough of me doing that. With a car packed with clothes, and tears streaming from my face. The cop that pulled me over to give me a ticket, didn't care. Got to my mom's house, spent only 3 days there, and she comes into the room and says, "I think you need to go home." I told her I had the same feeling. So I packed up all my belongings back in the car and back home I went to where God will continue to use me in my marriage to let my husband see the Unconditional, Unbelievable love He had for him. No regrets at all on my part. I even got to know this amazing love even more.
