John 18:37 - “ for this reason I was born...”
What emphasis do you put on Christmas? What does it mean to you? Is it all the Christmas songs of joy, shopping for presents, lights on the tree, maybe a nice vacation, etc? (Watch the video, and open your heart.)
Or is it about the baby who came to change everything. To bring light into a dark world. To bring truth into a world of false beliefs. To show, and love us unconditionally. But most important, to die for the sins of the world. We are the kiss to His cheek that betrayed Him. We are the nails in His hands and feet. We are who He suffered and died for. We are that thief on the cross asking Jesus to remember us. That is why He came.
Have you unwrapped this truth in your heart yet? My prayer for you is you do. Not just to have this holiday, but to “receive” Him, John 1:12. Then share the good news, not just at Christmas, but all year through.
My whole life is turned around, I once was lost, but now I’m found. Because He came, and I received Him with all my heart….. Now I can see. “Amazing Grace” is more than a song, it’s truly living. “A baby came to earth, to change everything”
