Empty me... to be filled with, "YOU!"

John 3:16… “God so loved the world, He gave His one and only begotten Son...”

So many people say, “How could God be a God of love, if so many bad things happen.”

First, we have to know what Gods word says, and ask Him for wisdom, and understanding.  John 15:18-19, “You do not belong to this world, but I have chosen you out of the world.”  This whole chapter is one of my favorites that helped me to understand, it’s not God, it’s peoples choices why bad things happen. Look at the news, so much hatred, and murder. God can’t stop people choices, but one day He will say, “ENOUGH!!!!” Read this chapter, he explains the worlds hatred.

The choices people make are not Gods fault at all. He gave us a mind, and told us what to do with it… Romans 12:2, "Do not conform to the world, but be transformed in the renewing of our minds.”

John 15 :1-3, Jesus talks about Him being the vine, and we are the branches. If we remain in Him, we will bear much fruit. LOVE being one of them. It goes on to say, apart from Him we can do nothing. It is like a branch that is thrown into the fire. I always hear people comment on this verse, and how could a God of love send people to hell. He doesn’t, they choose that by NOT remaining in Him.

Verses 9-13, Jesus talks about us remaining in His love, and commands, so our joy will be made complete.

  

Verse 12, His command is love. 

Verse 13, "No greater love is this than He who lays down His life for His friends.” 

How can anyone say God is not a God of love?  People choose not to fill themselves with this love (Jesus). To empty ourselves of selfishness, every vain ambition, the poison of pride, the foolish things our hearts hold to.

Can you just imagine what this world would be like if everyone on earth realized that everything is a lesser thing compared to Him, and surrendered all.

Don’t blame God, People have choices in this life. He gave us free will, and a bible to guide us by His word. Many are NOT grabbing hold of it. They are choosing the worlds ways instead.

Love is a choice….
