You Lead

God’s hands hold your tomorrows. Stop, don’t move too fast. Don’t dash through the needs of the moment, and regret tomorrow. Realize the effects that your quick fixes can have on you in the long run. Let Him lead you, He will guide you tenderly.

I’m writing this for those I’ve been talking to lately about diet and exercise.  All the, “I cant’s,” the, “I’m too tired's.” the, “I’m pregnant's,” the, “I don’t care right now, I’ll start next month,” or any other temptations you are under. Don’t sell out!

The bible is full of stories that we can relate to one way or another. It’s funny how God worked that out, isn’t it? There is a story in Genesis 25: 27-34, of Esau and Jacob. They were brothers, Esau was the firstborn and,  “became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country...” When Esau was out hunting one day, he came back famished, and wanted some of the stew that Jacob was cooking. Jacob replied, “First sell me your birthright.” A birthright was an honor to the firstborn son. It included a double portion of the family inheritance, along with one day becoming the family leader. I couldn’t believe it when I read that Esau gave it up for a bowl of lentil stew.

I’m sure we all can relate to this. He acted on impulse, satisfying his immediate desires without thinking about the long range consequences. In verse 32 Esau says, “Look I’m about to die, what good is the birthright to me?” He exaggerated his hunger, sound familiar? I can’t tell you how many times I have said, and hear others say, “I’m starving!” Then we just grab anything we can get our hands onto to satisfy our hunger. I don’t believe even blessing our food would matter in this case, because of course, we’re going so fast we would forget to pray over it anyway J. We are suppose to eat to nourish our bodies, not over-indulge. So many of us give up our health, (birthright), for a quick fix (bowl of stew).
Our health and wellbeing are important to God, and He wants us to care about it too. He cares, and doesn’t want to hear us make excuses, or say, “I don’t care right now, I’m starving and there’s nothing else.” Let’s be honest, we are never really starving.

Matthew 16: 24, “Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”  Let’s use this verse to help us in our weaknesses. To deny ourselves in any areas of pressure filled moments that can end up in regret, and a lot of hard work later. Getting through that pressure filled moment, is often the most difficult part of overcoming temptation.

You can do ALL THINGS, through Christ who strengthens you.

Holy Captivated

Here’s another one of those songs that comes on the radio, and if I’m in my car on the busiest highway, I want to just stand right in the road, blast it on full volume, and raise my hands in worship! I hope this song helps take you to His many wonders, and your soul will ring out a Sacred Hallelujah!

May God open our eyes to see and recognize the awe in His grace freely given.

How do we respond to Gods Great love for us?

First recognize that His hands and feet were nailed to a tree for our sins. He bled and died, "it's by grace [we] have been saved." (Ephesians 2: 5).  We are forgiven by the precious grace that flows down and covers us. This is amazing love, love beyond what you or I can comprehend.

Because we are all sinners, “justified freely by His grace,” Romans 3:24, we are all a part  of the ones who, “despised and rejected [Him]...” (Isaiah 53:3).  This Easter I watched, “Passion of the Christ” again. I can’t believe how cruel people could be, and get such enjoyment and laughter when beating Jesus nearly to death. Then as if that wasn't enough, on His mile walk to Calvary to be crucified on the cross he carried, they still kicked and beat Him. I remember yelling out, “Jesus stay down, don’t get up anymore!” They were so heartless, and He died for them, and us anyway. He even had enough breath in Him to say, “Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing.” (Luke 23: 34).

Now that I know the truth, I am held highly accountable for what I do with Jesus and His grace freely given to me. John 3:36 tells us, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.”

Oh if we could love like He loved, and live like He lived. God’s word tells us in 1 John 3:23, “This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.”

I am so captivated by His love for us. He deserves our GREATEST ADORATION. “Jesus, Son of God is His name.” To believe, “in the name,” means to pattern your life after His. To become more like Him. If we are living like Jesus, we will, “love one another,” and pray for the lost.

I pray you behold His beauty, and the wonders of His Great love for us all.

Jesus, Take the wheel.

Do you drive your life in the fast lane? In such a rush every day, you forget to bow your head and pray.

There is a destination we are all going to at the end of this life, and we don’t know when our last day will be. You can drive yourself to your destination of your own beliefs, or you can let Jesus take the wheel, and take you where He wants you to be in the end.

I would rather live my life believing, with Jesus at the wheel directing me each day, then to find out that when I die, my non-belief and direction was wrong.

God doesn’t send people to hell, we drive ourselves there. He is, was, and always will be a loving God. He loved us so much, “He gave His one and only Son...” (John 3: 16-21).  I love verse 17 and 18, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, But to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned...”  So if you choose to continue to live in the fast lane like you don’t care, or choose not to believe the God of the bible, than you made your choice. Verse 19 gives you, “The verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness... because their deeds were evil.”

Isaiah 53 tells us about Jesus, who would suffer for our sins. You could read about Jesus being led away to be crucified in Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John. Your choice to seek Him.

When God put His Son in our place, He did not spare Him. You and I can’t even imagine the physical agony that He went through in the garden, and at the crucifixion, but the spiritual alienation from His Father was the ultimate torture Jesus was dreading.  At the crucifixion, “Jesus cried out in a loud voice, 'My God, my God why have you forsaken me?'” (Mark 15: 34).  In the garden, our Savior was dreading what He was going to face at the crucifixion, saying, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death,” (Mark 14: 34).  Though He was the Son of God, he was fully human, with our feelings of overwhelming fear, and the pain of the flogging.

So you have to ask yourself, If God did not spare His own Son, how much less will He spare those who choose not to believe the blood of Christ? What an awful cry of the innocent Son of God. What will your cry be? Will you feel forsaken in the end, or welcomed?

We all will have to give an answer one day with what we believe, and what we did with the precious Son of God.

I say, “Jesus take the wheel, cause I can’t do it on my own.”

Grace and peace to you
Kim

My offering.

Offer yourself, just as you are, He will clean you up...

You will never find anything more beautiful or more amazing, until you bring everything you’ve ever made a mess of to the foot of the cross, and Jesus takes you, the mess we are, as an offering. At the foot of the cross is where the broken are made whole. Where darkness turns to light.

Looking at how the way things are going in this world, many people wonder who has more power, Satan or God? There is no doubt that Satan is powerful, but that’s only if you choose to stay in his darkness, instead of seeking the light. It’s sad, but it seems like many are making the wrong choice and blaming God for the way things are today.  Jesus is much more powerful. His resurrection took away Satan’s deathly power and, "rescued us from the dominion of darkness..." Read this scripture with an open heart, Colossians 1:10-14

Some choose to keep running from the truth, staying in the darkness. They continue to rebel against God, living a lie, instead of seeking the truth. This is not our home, and God is giving us all more time here to:  “choose for yourselves this day, whom you will serve...” (Joshua 24:15).  It starts with sharing the light of Jesus Christ into a dark world. Shine the light on the CROSS!

Jesus says in John 12:32, “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.” The enemy of our souls knows the power of the cross. He will do whatever it takes for Gods children to keep it to ourselves and not talk about everything Jesus can do for us. It really isn’t about what He can do for you, it’s first about what He’s already done. It starts at turning the light onto the cross where Jesus died for all our sins, right where we were at. Romans 5:8, “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  He cleans us up, when we offer up ourselves.

That’s where the power begins and the light gets brighter, and Satan just hates that. He knows that when a dark soul accepts the truth of the cross, that it's freedom for one more he tried “to destroy,” John10:10.

So before we talk about anything Jesus can, and will do if it’s in His will for you, let’s take them to the cross where the power begins.

Be as passionate about the cross, as the world and the devil are about eliminating it.

Grace and peace to you

Revelation Song

Beautiful song and video:  “Jesus” His name is Power, Breath, and Living Water!

Power - Jesus willingly gave up His life for us. At anytime he could have said, “no more,” but He was obedient to His Fathers plan for salvation for mankind, knowing all along that the sacrifice for our sins was going to be the shedding of His blood. Jesus even told Pilate, “You have no power over me if it were not given to you from above.” (John 19:11).  Pilate didn't even realize Jesus would willingly die, even for him.  “No one takes it from me," Jesus said, "but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again.” (John 10: 17-18).

Jesus birth, death, and resurrection was always under His Fathers control. No one could kill Jesus without His consent.

Breath - In Genesis 2:7, “the lord formed a man... and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” We have life and breath because God gave it to us. All through our life we are given choices of how to live. The bible is Gods living Word, it was given to guide us. Do you live and breathe on your own breath, or have you chosen to breathe on the air that Jesus gives you?

When Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared to many. Before he ascended back to His Father, He appeared to the disciples and said to them, “Peace be with you...” and with that, He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” (John 20:19).  This breath has power, and eternal life.

Living Water--  Jesus is the Living Water for our souls; “but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst.” (John 4:13-14).  We will always come up empty by living this life how we choose to live it. Always searching for things to bring us happiness. Jesus, the Living Water, will quench all your searching for.

The bible tells us all about who Jesus was, is, and is to come. Revelations 1:8, “'I am the Alpha and the Omega,' says the Lord God, 'Who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.'” He’s alive and still saves!

Without receiving this truth, we have nothing that is eternal, nothing that can change your life, nothing that can save you from sin!

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, Holy, Holy is He!”

Believe, receive, and become a child of God.  John 1:12.

This little light of mine

Don’t ever lose your light, even in the hard times.

I talked with someone today about ambassadors of Disney World, and what was the easiest way to describe their roll. She said they represent Disney, they are the face of Disney World. That is a very important responsibility, and they take a lot of time choosing who the 2 will be.
When I read in my bible today, in 2 Corinthians 5: 20, “We are therefore Christ’s Ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us.” I thought, WOW, that’s what we are for Jesus. We are representatives for Jesus, and given a message for the world. That is a VERY important responsibility for our Savior. How are we reflecting His face to the world?

“For this is what the Lord has commanded... that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 13: 47).

A friend of mine at work shared a story with me about what his pastor, Scott Smith, demonstrated, and taught at his church. While the lights were dimed, he held a candle very close to his face, and as he was looking out at the congregation. He said, “I can’t see any of you, even in the front row. But if I extend this light out away from me, the further I extend it, the more I see.” That is what we are to do with our message for Jesus. Don’t keep it to yourself, extend it out there to a hurting world. Let them know that, “God made Him sin who had no sin, to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5: 21).

Our sin was poured into Christ at His crucifixion. Only because of Jesus and His suffering, His righteousness is poured into us, at your acceptance of what He did for you.

Have you put your faith and trust in Jesus, and that He died for our sins? I pray you will receive the message of Easter Deep in your heart.

“This little light of mine,” is all my Jesus wants me to shine.

Happy Easter, HE LIVES!

Reason for the World?

Could it be that the reason for the world is to make us long for home?

God is good, but life is hard. Rest in the hands that hold the world... Remember you are never alone. Jesus is no stranger to our pain: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33).

Just look at the news. It really makes you wonder, and pray for so many lost, angry people.

I know there are a lot of times when I look up to the skies and say, “Thank you God that this is not our home.” There are no words sometimes for tragedies. Just listening, and being that long hug that cares, may be all they need for the moment.

So many questions... in my heart, the only answer is to, “fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen...” (2 Corinthians 4:18).

Just watching the news can wear you down. Hearing friends, and families that are going through so much, and they have just become so tired, and have so little hope. “Though outwardly we are wasting away yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” (2 Corinthians 4:16).  Boy if that isn’t hope!  When this world wears us down, Jesus is our only lifeline.

No one likes painful situations, but it is going to happen. We can’t escape it, so we might as well let God use it. It gives God the opportunity to show His power in us, and for us to show our faith and hope in Him.

2 Corinthians 4: 18, “for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” Now that’s even more hope! Our ultimate hope when we are experiencing pain, heartache, a terrible illness, is this life is not all there is. There is life after death. Knowing we will live forever with God, in a place with no more pain or suffering, can help us live above what we are facing.

1Corinthians 2: 9, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him.” Even more hope! So we have to keep our eyes on heaven. Never lose sight of Jesus, and you’ll never lose sight of home, for, "[His] house has many rooms..." (John 14: 2).

“There is beauty that awaits beyond this world.
When you look into the eyes of grace, and hear the voice of mercy say,
'Child welcome to the reason for the world.'"

Grace and peace to you

You are more.

Great video - can you relate to anything written on the chalk board? It can all be washed away.  “It’s not about what you’ve done, but what’s been done for you. It’s not about where you’ve been, but where your brokenness leads you to.”

Can we see what God sees in the depths of someone’s heart? What they struggle to be free from? The cries of their heart? Luke 6: 45, “For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”  Now if they are just being flat out ignorant, that’s another story. Let’s let God be the judge. All we can do is be obedient to what He is leading us to be, and do.

Sin is sin, big or small, it’s all the same.  “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God...” (Romans 3:23).  That means me and you. ,  As Christians, we are suppose to "follow the example of Christ." (1 Corinthians 11: 1).  We should speak the truth in love, only if the Spirit is prompting you to do so, or it’s best to keep quiet, and pray continually.

I can remember every person who God sent to speak to me about sin and what broke His heart, which made me realize I couldn't do this on my own. I needed forgiveness, and Jesus in my life. Love leads to repentance.  I also remember the ones who didn't let me see the Loving God of the bible. You don’t beat someone up and lead them to Christ, “Gods kindness... [leads] to repentance." (Romans 2: 4).

Eventually I learned, by seeking the truth from His Word. He loved me right where I was at, He just hated the things I was doing and didn't want me to stay there. He knew eventually consequences would come. Look at the life of Whitney Houston. I think it’s evident that she loved Jesus, she just couldn't break the addiction. The consequence was her life on earth.

I talk to people who struggle with homosexuality, addictions of many kinds; alcohol, drugs, caffeine, food. Just as sin is sin, addiction is addiction, and God would love for us to be free of the things that will eventually take its toll on our health, and quality of life.

Most of these people love God, and profess Jesus as Savior. Who are we to judge, or think we know their hearts prayer? We should be praying that their chains of addiction lead them to know they are in need of a Savior, which leads to repentance, and turning from sin. Acts 3:19, “Repent then and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” You are more than the choices you have made in the past, you can be made new:

"in Christ... the old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past." (Isaiah 43:18).

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you," (Ezekiel 36:26).

"He who was seated on the throne said, 'I am making everything new!'" (Revelations 21:5).

Romans 8:1-13, “Therefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus... For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live."  I have seen people set free from every one of the addictions I have mentioned above, and have been made new. It is a choice, and “with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19: 26).

“Is anything to hard for the Lord?” (Genesis 18: 14).

Grace and peace to you

When the starts burn down...

There will come a day when this earth will wear out. We will stand face to face before the throne... are you ready?

Talking about the end times is a very touchy subject with many. You have to search the scriptures for yourself and let the Holy Spirit of the living God speak to you.  One thing I know for sure, is our focus shouldn't be on when it will happen. It should be on seeking God to be Spiritually prepared for the times that are coming, and making sure we are sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Matthew 24: 36-44, Jesus is very clear that “NO ONE knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Verse 36, “So you must be ready because the Son of Man WILL COME at an hour when you do not expect Him.” Verse 44.

If you go back to the beginning of this chapter, Jesus tells you of the things that must happen: Wars, famine, earthquakes, "All these are the beginning of birth pains." (Matthew 24: 6-8). Read all of chapter 24 for yourself. It is full of information to help you stand firm till the end, for the hard times ahead. Jesus is your peace, and your strength as you press on in this world.

A lot of people ask the question, “Will I see my family and friends in heaven?”  I find comfort in believing when my life comes to an end, I will recognize my family who has gone before me. As long as they put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, we will all be together one day. Read God’s word for yourself, and again, let the Holy Spirit speak to you:

In the old testament when a person died, they were, “gathered to his people,” Genesis 25:8 - 35:29 - 49:29 - Numbers 20: 24

What David said when his son died, "I will go to him, but he will not return to me." (2 Samuel 12: 23).

At the transfiguration, Moses and Elijah were recognizable. Peter offers to build shelters, "one for [God], one for Moses and one for Elijah." (Matthew 17: 3-4).

My personal favorite is the many people who recognized Jesus after His resurrection:
"Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She... cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (teacher)." (John 20: 16-20).

"Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord." (John 21: 12,1).

If God thought it important to show us in His Word in the old testament events, and the new testament events, and that even His Son was recognizable, then I believe He was trying to comfort us, knowing that would be a question of many of us. He is the God of all creation, and knows all our worries, fears, and questions. The answers are in His written Word. Are you finding comfort there? (Selah).

I pulled some scripture to show you what I believe about recognizing each other in heaven. If you don’t believe that, try to find the scripture that says we won’t.

The other thing I know for sure is, I have asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins, and be Lord of my life. I know the only way I can walk this life, and the world the way it is, is with Him. He makes my way, "straight before me." (Psalms 5:8).

“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being.” (Revelations 4:11).

I sing it now, and I’ll sing it one day forever... Blessing and honor glory and power forever to our God!

Grace and peace to you
Kim

Even if,

Hebrews 10: 38, “But my righteous one will live by faith.”

Faith is resting in what Christ has done for us in the past. It also means trusting Him for what He will do for us in the present. “Even if the healing doesn’t come.”

I have seen the healing hand of God with my husband’s cancer. We were constantly praying, and believing, no matter what things looked like, and it looked bad, but God already knew how it was going to end. I am so thankful to God for giving him more time here. To enjoy family, our grandchild, and another one on the way. Also the joy of all going to church together. God is so good (all the time).  But even if the healing didn’t come to my husband, I know in time, God would heal all my pain and questions, to use it to glorify Him somehow.

Let the eye of faith be constantly looking to Jesus. I can often fall into the trap of going by feelings and emotions. I will not find Jesus there, because he is waiting inside for me to hold onto Him, and His promises. Even if things don’t look or feel as they should, we should never, “throw away our confidence; it will be richly rewarded.” Hebrews 10: 35-38. It pleases God when we can say, “I don’t see or feel You Lord, but I know Your here.” Trusting in God’s word and His power, more than our feelings, or what we are seeing. Who God is, will never change.

There are so many challenges in this life that will test our faith. Health and sickness of a loved one, or even yourself, death, waiting on results of a biopsy, so many things that could tear us apart, causing us to lose our joy and peace. But if we endure in the right spirit, it will impact our growth, and faith, and trust in God. No one ever said the Christian life would be easy, or things wouldn’t go wrong. When you face hardships and challenges, it is easy to lose sight of the big picture God already sees.

This world is a school ground for Christian maturity. It develops our patience, and makes the final victory sweet.

So as we go through this life, “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” (Hebrews 12: 2-3).  Let the joy set before us, overpower our feelings and emotions. “Press on towards the goal..." (Philippians 3: 14).

Your relationship with Jesus is the most precious experience in this life. He has great plans for you; "[trust] in the Lord..." (Psalm 40: 4-5).

Grace and peace to you
Kim

Take me into the Beautiful

Open their eyes Lord, to see a world they’ve never seen. Let them see that You are our world, living inside us, I pray…

Our faces should have a glow. They should see something different about you. You’re not how you use to be. You are , "the new creation [that] has come," (2 Corinthians 5: 17).  The light inside us should never grow dim. , “You are the light of the world... it gives light to everyone in the house.” (Matthew 5: 14-16).   If we say we follow Christ, then we “will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8: 12).

Psalm 34: 8 tells us to taste and see that taking refuge in the Lord is good, Jesus is the only way the world becomes beautiful. The chaos becomes a chorus. You begin to see, and understand the need of so many living in darkness. You see so many who are following a religion, instead of a relationship with Jesus. You see so many who complicate what is so easy to receive.

We are saved by Grace, “It is a Gift of God,” Ephesians 2: 8. We are no longer bound to our sin or failures.  Salvation is not a hidden thing. Many people are bound up by the thought of unattainable perfection. We are all going to fail. God understands our imperfections. We are human, and that is why He sent His Son, the only Perfect One. Salvation is through Jesus. He did it all. It is a gift, and we have a choice to receive it or not.

So go to where the rivers flow, where the love NEVER ends.

John 7: 38, “Whoever believes in me, as scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them."

Admit that you are a sinner in need of a Savior. It wasn’t easy for Jesus, but he died because you were worth it.

The invitation NEVER ends. The Gift is always there waiting for you to accept it.

Let Him lift you out of the darkness with His Grace. The Love that was once unexplainable, you now can explain...

“Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me,
I once was lost but now I’m found, was blind but now I see!”

Grace and peace to you

Sometimes he calms the storm.

Beautiful song below. Hope it helps you understand some of your questions of, why, or how long?

I was listening to a radio interview with Mark Shultz on Z88.3. He was talking about the song he wrote called “He is” and how it came about. He had met a 12 year old girl dying of cancer. When he got a call from her dad that she only had a few days to live, he went to meet with her again. He was so inspired by the girl telling him, “I know my life, and death have a purpose.” From what he was saying about her, you could tell she had peace, and she was ready.

The lyrics to this song are so true, and very powerful. God has a reason for every trial we pass through in life. I don’t like any of them! I only like what it’s been doing in me. He truly does hold us close when the wind and waves go wild. Sometimes He calms the storm, but other times He calms His child.

In so many things I have gone through, or watched others go through, I’ve wondered, Why? I have, and sometimes still do, kick and scream in trials that come my way. But Jesus always finds a way in time through His word, to calm me, (His child).

God is not a God of mistakes. I’m sure a question we all ask from time to time is, “How long God, how long will this pain, and evil go on?” One day we will all have our questions answered. Are you ready? Are your loved ones? "[He] shall loose none," (John 6:39).

This 12 year old girl was ready to go home. Probably tired of her sickness, and pain, and knowing of the place Jesus has prepared for her, and those who believe.  John 14: 2-3, “I will come back, and take you to be with me...”  She knew no sickness would pull her apart from Christ, and what was waiting for her. Her heart of trust, was her quiet peaceful place while she waited, and glorified God even in her sickness.

“Let the little children come to me... for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Mark 10: 13-16).   Young children who are sick, or abused, or babies who are aborted, are now being held forever and ever. No more tears, no more sickness, no more abuse or pain. “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain...” (Revelations 21: 4).  They are in a safe place forever more.

There is a place for you too. Have you confessed Jesus as Lord? Asked Him to come make His home in your heart, knowing that He died for all your sins? Asking Him for forgiveness, and to take the wheel of your life?  Read John 3:16.

Grace and peace to you

The Little Girl

What a tear jerker, but unfortunately in life so true with some children.

Psalm 127: 3-5, "children a reward from [Him]..."

Or, to quote the late Whitney Houston, "Teach [children] well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they process inside...” Some parents treat their children like they don’t exist, or as if they are a nuisance, or they don’t even want them anymore.

I believe we are held highly accountable for how we treat our children, because God values them so highly. Listen to what He says in His word to us in Matthew 18: 5-6, “But if anyone causes one of these little ones... to [sin], it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

That speaks to my heart like this song portrays. He will, in some circumstances, take you out before anymore damage is done to His little ones. I know not all circumstances are that way. Like I said before, evil choices are chosen by evil people who have been given free will by a loving God. They choose to be controlled by the father of lies, following the flesh rather than our loving God.
John 8: 42-44, “You belong to your father the devil, and you want to carry out your fathers desires.” That answers a lot of my questions. I hope it helps you.

God has a purpose for everything that we will never fully comprehend,  “For [his] thoughts are not [our] thoughts...” (Isaiah 55: 8-9).

A family without God can never experience the spiritual bond He brings to relationships.  “Unless the Lord builds the house, it’s builders labor in vain.”

The scripture says in John 14:18, “I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you.” We are all orphans without Jesus. He wants to adopt us into His family. He is no longer on the cross. He is VERY MUCH ALIVE!  “ I was dead, and behold I am alive forever and ever!” (Revelations 1:18).

He wants to make our hearts His dwelling place.

Grace and peace to you
