This is Shannon’s story , and God turned it into her beautiful test..imony…. Please watch…
This is the song she wrote…
You know that old saying… “When one door closes another one opens” Well there is another saying while you’re waiting for that other door to open… “Enjoy His Presence in the hallway.” You better believe that there will be more than one hallway, and some will be longer and darker than the others.
Revelations 14: 3 “And they sang a new song before the throne…. No one could learn the song”…… because it is yours, and yours alone. Your hallway story, turned into a beautiful song just for you. What song do you sing while you are waiting on His plans for you.
You could kick the door open if you choose to, but how would you learn to hear your Saviors voice or feel His presence unless you enjoy the walk with Him through the hallway. Learn more about Jesus along the way, and how He is so faithful to bring you to the perfect will of God. If you force that door to open, or follow what feels good, it’s probably not the will of God. What God has for us, and when He chooses to give it, will be far better than what we could do for ourselves.
Jesus tells us in John 15: 4 “Abide in Me and I in you” I love the meaning of the word abide: (Stay..Stand…Endure…Reside…Dwell…Remain….Bear) That’s what He wants us to do while we pray and wait. I have times I handle this well, and times were it is very hard. But for the most part I’ve learned to do it well, because it takes so much more energy not to listen to the word of God.
Many people I come in contact with everyday, know that I am a Christian. I have troubles and things I hope for just like everyone else. But how I look in the mist of everything should look a lot different than those who profess not to have a relationship with Jesus. How we handle things should encourage others to want this Savior that we serve. Hebrews 10: 23-25 “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful…….let us consider how we may spur one another on…..let us encourage one another”…..
Things may not be going the way you would like them to for yourself personally, or even someone you have been praying for, but still “rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He ENABLES me to tread on the heights.” Habakkuk 3: 17-19
My heart will forever praise Him. This world can’t take this joy from me!!!!
“I have a song” and so do you…
So sing because your happy, sing because your free. His eye is on the sparrow, and He watches over you and me.
