We all go through seasons in life. Some good, some bad. Change of seasons never end as long as we are alive. If we don't stop and slow down, spend time in Gods word, we wont hear the things He is trying to speak to us. Sometimes things are allowed to come into our lives that will help us to slow down. Then if you choose, you can get to know the One Who holds everything together, Colossians 1:17. The One Who calls each star by name, Psalm 147:4. So take courage, get close to Him. You will realize He is in the waiting with you.
We may be in what we think is an impossible situation. Or maybe something so heartbreaking you can barely catch your breath. Well 2020 has started off that way for many who are very dear to me. Some are battling cancer. Some waiting for test results. Some with children who were born with challenges. Loss of a job. Loss of loved one. The list goes on....
I don't know how anyone can do life without God. I can barely do it with Him at times to be honest. But you know what? Even Jesus wept, John 11:35. He will reveal what's to come in His timing. It's the waiting that just seems impossible at times. I've screamed out many times in my life, "where are You God?" But because I am always seeking Him, He answers me quickly by His Living Word. Matthew 28:20, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of age." Jesus is right there in the waiting of whatever you are going through. You may not think He is, but continue to draw near to Him and you will realize that He is. Your courage to keep pressing on will increase. Your hope will arise.
I will end with one of my favorite verses, and I hope it encourages you: Hebrews 4: 14-16
"So then, we must cling to the faith to all we know to be true. For we have a magnificent King Priest, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who rose into the heavenly realm for us, and now sympathizes with us in our frailty. He understands humanity, for as a Man, our magnificent King Priest was tempted in every way just as we are, and conquered sin. So now we come...….to receive mercy's kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness."
So be encouraged
To God be the glory
