Psalm 138: 5 "They shall sing of the ways of the Lord"
All service, all devotion, should be in appreciation of the grace of Jesus Christ. What He has done in us, and now working through us. His grace and mercy is a great thing. It is mighty to save, to keep, to use, and to make a blessing to others. Personally this is what drives me, and I'll thank Him forever more in this way with my song of love.
Luke 15: 10, When you use God's word to be a blessing to others, you can't help but be blessed yourself on the way because it brings back all that you have already walked through and you know what that person can have as well if they're open to receive it.
Have you forgotten what God has done for you? Go back, "recount the steadfast love of the Lord." Never forget the kindness of the Lord, Isaiah 63:7. I love this verse, "I will tell of the kindness of the Lord, the deeds for which He is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for us."
Every time I start to get anxious, or see that I am drifting into worry, I go back and remember EVERY MOUNTAIN we have climbed together. Every time He has been there in my time of need, every difficulty that He delivered me from. Miracles that I have seen in healing of cancer, marriages, or in the conceiving of a child when doctors said it would be nearly impossible.
John 1: 16 "From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another." If you can't remember anything, KNOW THIS, Jesus came to set you free! To break every chain that binds you. To show you the love and mercy of God.
I pray that Jesus will be the hope of your heart. That if you never put your trust in anything, put it in Him. Then the Light will begin to glitter through the darkness. You will have a "song of love" as you begin to rise to the surface of your deepest ocean and climb up from the valley to the mountain view. Then you can pour out your stories of blessings to someone else in need.
