We're all the same... Tenth ave. North

2 Peter 3: 18 “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”

Well it’s a New Year. Does it feel all the same to you? Maybe each new day seems harder than the one past. Are you weary in well doing?
Maybe your one who feels you’ve gone too far in your sin and shame to come back to Jesus. Maybe even wondering “who could love me now?”

I’m here to tell you that just when you think it’s over, a new story of your life can begin. God’s love is stronger than all our weaknesses, and His blood covers ALL our sins.

So many stories of all different kinds of pains, heartaches, and fears. But did you ever realize, we are all the same? Just people desperate for change, and in need of love, forgiveness, and mercy. We are all like children, never too old to learn from our Creator.

Maybe you’re the one being hurt and need God’s grace to press on.
Maybe you were the one causing the hurt to someone, and now your hands are held out for grace.

We all will face different circumstances everyday throughout the year. Whether it is a result of failure, or through no fault of your own, choose to grow in love. God can, and will show us how to love the unlovable, or how to break free, come clean, and receive this love that causes a new life within us.

I love what God’s word says in Jeremiah 29: 11-14. His plans are not to harm us, but to give us hope and a future. We hurt ourselves by not seeking Him for strength in our weakness, or by refusing and  turn from our sin, and turn to Jesus.

None of us are broken beyond repair, or too weak to press on. So if you don’t like how you feel inside, seek change. Some of us need God’s strength to give out love. Some of us need brokenness to receive it. The love that you begin to give out, or if you are the one receiving it, it will feel more real than anything you have ever felt before. Why…. Because you’re feeling Jesus either way, giving or receiving.

What are the evidences of growing in grace and knowledge? An increase of love!

We are “all the same” desperate for change one way or another.
