BE SURE TO WATCH TILL THE END TO HEAR A FEW TESTIMONIES FROM PEOPLE IN VIDEO, (so worth hearing)
Where this video ends, my testimony begins, with my husband’s permission to tell about it...
Jesus carried me through a lonely marriage. Addictions that my husband would have to make a choice to be set free from sooner better than later. I love him so much, and I knew God loved Him more. Knowing that the load was too heavy for me to carry, but also knowing the God of the impossible, helps you to hang on and never give up hope through the hard times and heartaches. He helps you to see in a person, what He sees. Knowing the hard truth ofEphesians 6: 12 "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood....but against the powers of this dark world".... helps you to become verse 10 "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power."
I can't even begin to tell you how ALIVE God's word became to me! Once I was on this road with God, there was no getting off. You cling to every promise, and become desperate for more. It truly is the light to your path in which He wants you to follow when your marriage is hanging by a thread.. I could probably write a book on the journey God led me through, but I will keep it short and pray that it will help you with any struggle you may be having. If anything, you will become a better Christian.
You want change this year? Guess what, it begins in you!
Let's start with "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" 2 Corinthians 12: 9. I held God to this promise, because I was nothing but weak. I would always say to God, "But You said Your grace would be enough, and I don't feel it." Every step forward with God was exciting and hard at the same time. Each day was another day of seeing how much He loves all of us, not just those of us who choose to follow Him. Proverbs 24: 10-11, says.. "If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength! Rescue those being led away to death;" That became my goal, because that has always been God's goal from the beginning of time. To seek and save the lost, and I got to be part of the never ending story while here on earth. This wasn't just anyone, this was my husband, and the father of our children. So the battle was on!! Romans 15: 5 "For everything that was written in the past was written to TEACH US, so that THROUGH ENDURANCE and the ENCOURAGEMENT of the scriptures we might have HOPE." So all I had, was just that, HOPE! The more I learned about what God has done in years past, the greater confidence I had about what He will do if I did "not become weary in doing good" Galatians 6: 9 "for in the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do NOT GIVE UP." I saw this harvest of blessings was not just for me or my children, but first for God. He truly is not wanting ANYONE TO PERISH, but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3: 9)
So to make a long story short, 2 Peter 1: 3-9 "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness." I hope you read the rest of that scripture. The power to grow comes from God within us. We don't have what it takes in the flesh to be godly. Faith is more than belief in facts. Faith goes into action, doing the will of God in your life that he has called you to do. He brought me to a point where I had to step aside, Psalm 46: 10 "Be still" and know that He was God. He truly loves to show us He is, The GREAT "I AM!" You will have no regrets, because the greatest part of it all, is you learn to know God better, and grow SO CLOSE to Him.
My story happens to have a happy ending, or better said, beginning. My husband is now on this journey with me. Revelations 21: 5, When Jesus said, "Look, I am making everything new!" HE SURE DID!!!!! 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if anyone is in Christ....The old has gone, the new is here!"
What has the grace of our Lord carried you through? We all have a story, and everyone has a different testimony. All of which brings TOTAL GLORY to GOD, and nothing of ourselves. We are just the pencil He chose to use. He knew through you, another beautiful story would be written and help for another. Don’t ever let any voices block out what God is speaking to you. If someone calls you a fool, then be that fool for God!
I would love to hear what Jesus is carrying you through. Join, or comment on this post on my face book below. It will be posted on face book by Friday Jan. 3rd.
Happy New Year!!!
