This is such a beautiful video to follow along with. While reading the lyrics, scripture is also there to bring you such peace, hope, and strength. I love God's word. I know people say it is written by men, but it was men who walked, and talked, and experienced God of the old testament, and Jesus our Savior of the new testament. It's their experiences, their story, and what God wanted written in His book. To help us, to guide us, to keep us pressing on until our purpose is fulfilled here. 

That is why I love to write. It's my experiences with God. They become my stories. Are my experiences and stories a lie? Think what you want. I have experienced the LIVING GOD!!! If the new testament can still be written and put on bookshelves, there wouldn't be enough room on earth of all the stories that would still be told to this very day. I'm sorry if you haven't experienced Him, and have no one to thank for all the goodness in your life. Like waking up and having breath for that day. That doesn't just happen. There is a Creator who allows you to breath.  I have a lot to say, and much to be thankful for!

"Who can compare" to You my King, is something I say everyday to my Jesus. "I looked and I found that there's no one in all the earth."

1 Thessalonians 5:11, "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up"..... Where has God brought you? What are the things He's showed you about Himself? Our scars become our story and people are watching. Your family, your grandchildren, your children, yes, even your enemies. How are you living out your legacy?

Take everything, all the hard parts of life, the failures, the hurts, the losses, give them to Jesus, and all for His glory. Stumbling is a part of the race here on earth. Pick yourself up and keep going. No matter how tired you went to bed the night before, God always invites us each new day to draw from His NEVER ENDING supply of wisdom and strength. Romans 11: 33, Oh, what a wonderful God we have? How great are His riches and wisdom and knowledge."

I want to leave behind how I loved people with all my might. Well really, with all of what God had to give through me. Job 12: 13, “With God are wisdom and might; he has counsel and understanding." Praying that they would allow God to use them no matter how much it hurt. Until God says it's finished, then keep going. Take His hand, and let Him lead you on. He will show you the way to real life. This life can be very exciting when you realize it's NOT ABOUT YOU! It's about God and His kingdom purposes.

I am not guaranteed life, or even my health tomorrow. Everything can change in an instant. So I choose to live the abundant life Jesus died to give me today. Telling God, if He needs to change my plans today just show me. Because helping others is always a part of my day and joy.

Psalm 126: 5, "Those who sow in tears will reap songs of joy."

I know this to be truth for my written story of God. He never promised me a pain free life, but He NEVER left me alone.

I've cried many tears for my marriage. I know they reached the heavens. God held my marriage together, as He grew me into understanding unconditional love for those who are hard to love. This is my story. Everyone's written story of God is not the same. But I think we can all agree, He does great things.

A lot of us know how hard marriage can be. Well that's the enemy's plan. All I knew is, I wanted with all my heart to be obedient to what God was telling me. To stay on the path He was directing me, no matter how hard it got.

I kept crying out to God. This verse I claimed very often. Galatians 6: 9, "Let us not grow weary in well doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest".... God reminded me over and over Ephesians 6: 12, my war was not against my husband at all, only against the one who was trying to hold him captive. I would not give up the fight in prayer. I married for better, and for worse. In sickness, and in health, and I meant it!! I gave the battle to my Victorious God. It's His anyway.

Nothing is impossible with God. He can still set the captives free!

Be strong in the Lord. Claim His promises over your family. You may also one day shout.... "The Lord has done great things." Even if it's just holding you together, and growing you spiritually.

2 Corinthians 5: 12... What would compel you to fight the good fight? To run this race of life. To change and become a new creation. Ephesians 4: 22-25, to stop making excuses for sin and die to self. To be Jesus to those who are hard to like, no less love them?

LOVE ... Love should compel those of us who have tasted it. So as we move on, "Homeward Bound," let His love control our hearts. Do it all because of your love and thankfulness of all He bore on that cross. That love that forgave us of all our sins, past, present, and future. Thank you Jesus!

 Matthew 3: 2, The bible tells us that the kingdom of heaven is near. Not a far off place, unless you haven't repented. Sin that you haven't addressed as sin in your life. You just keep making those excuses, even as a believer.

We are all given the invitation to come near. To let Jesus have total control of our lives. Matthew 3: 8, then the fruit of our lives should continuously "produce fruit in keeping with repentance."

He is our great reward. So worth fighting and living for. We have to face the facts that we all aren't going to live forever here. So the truth that set you free, should compel you to share the great news. That if you repent, and acknowledge that you need a Savior, and His name is Jesus, you will live forever. For all eternity in paradise. Not in a holding place, but like Jesus said to the thief, "TODAY!" Luke 23: 43

Life is hard enough with God, I can't imagine it without Him.

Well vacation with my kids and grandchildren is over, and it felt like I was starting at the beginning of my grieving all over again. The reality of going home alone. Not going through the pictures together. Putting the pictures in frames and the photo album without my husband in any of the pictures, just killed me!! It felt like I was in a fog, and I didn't like it at all! I asked God every day, several times a day, to "please take me out of this. Help me to be thankful for the vacation You just gave me. Where are You bringing me? Speak to my heart Lord, I will go. I want to be where You are and nowhere else."

Oh how I praise God for the new levels of Himself that He invites us into. It's not always pleasant at the time, because you don't realize that the darkness you feel is just a façade. The enemy trying to deceive you. You feel like the presence of God is nowhere to be found. But all the while He is right there, in the mist of everything.I know this to be true because of many experiences with God in these areas. Keep calling out to Him. Letting Him know you trust Him. Then I love the next thing that happens when you invite Jesus into EVERY room of your heart and soul. No hidden closets. Open up everything to Him. Let Him step into your past and conquer all your shame. Even your thoughts, because He knows them anyway. Let Him fill you with His grace. DARKNESS TREMBLES at the light of JESUS! It has no place in you at all!! James 4:6-8, "But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." I love Jesus, when You walk into every room of my life.

Like the lyrics of this song, I cry out: "We love You, we'll never stop. We can't live without You Jesus. We love You, and we can't get enough. Come and consume all we are. We give You permission, our hearts are Yours."

Is that feeling of just being in AWE of God lost?

Stop for a minute, well 6 minutes. The words may be repetitive, but if you just close your eyes and just think about the beauty of Jesus. The beauty of salvation. The beauty of life. If life isn't treating you well here, just think about there. Eternal life with Jesus and our loved ones who have gone before us.

 Definition of Wonder : a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable:

synonyms: awe · admiration · wonderment · fascination · surprise ·

I just love this definition, and that's why I can sing these lyrics over, and over, and over again with them!! Like I said before, music is a cry from my heart, of thanks, Praise and Admiration for the beauty of my King..... "May we never loose our "Wonder" Wide eyed and mystified (utterly bewildered), may we be just like a child, staring at the beauty of our King."

Don't get stuck in a rut with your walk in discovering all Christ is. Your relationship with Him means everything to Him, and it should to us too. No matter how long you have been a Christian, the wonder and beauty of all He is should never get boring to seek continually; Jeremiah 29:13. An entire lifetime will never allow us to fully explore all He is.

Let me tell you something that speaks to my spirit with GREAT GRATITUDE, as I continue to meditate on the, "may we never loose our wonder" part of this song. It leaves me wide eyed and mystified.....

Why did God birth me to two beautiful loving parents? Why am I so blessed to have been born in this country and time? Why has God blessed me with all He has? I can go on and on.... I will never know the answers to all the questions I have this side of heaven, and I don't really care anymore. What I care about is showing Him how thankful I am by how I live my life to point others to Him. He truly is beautiful in ALL HIS WAYS!
