Hoping that these 3 scriptures will help you as they have helped me, and continue to help me as I wait on Him for answered prayer. Waiting is one of God's favorite tools to get our attention. He's in it with us, and keeping watch over us. So many we read about in the Bible waited for things. But it's also the things that they continue to do in the waiting. David, Noah, Abraham and Sarah, Paul, even Jesus waited 30 years for His ministry to begin. Knowing that God asked even Jesus to wait. What makes me think I can skip waiting for anything I am praying for. There is no shortcut for what God uses to build our Faith and character. Are we looking more like Jesus in the waiting? Are we praying for others? Or are we just looking at our own issues instead of seeing where we can also be an encourager for someone else?
