We need to stop calling loving someone with the truth,  judging. 

The Bible clearly tells us to speak the truth in love, Ephesians 4:15. Stop waiting on the preachers and the teachers to say the perfect words. How can we call ourselves a true friend if we don't share the truth we know. They may be in a sin that they don't know is sin. The enemy is a deceiver, and has many deceived today, even Christians. We are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, Philippians 2:12. This is daily. Sanctification is daily. Repentance is daily. 

Yes, we all sin and fall short of the glory of God. But God gave us His Living word, which is good for, teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, 2 Timothy 3:16. 

I am so glad that there are Christian friends of mine who point me in the right direction when I may be going wrong. They love me with the truth. 

So many are deceived today. They say,  "well God is a God of love, and He sent His Son to die for everyone." .... But does this give us the right to continue to sin and abuse grace? Look at Romans 6:1-2 "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer."

Yes, God is a God of love. But He is also a just God and He takes sin seriously.

Psalm 9:7-8 "But the Lord abides forever;

He has established His throne for judgment, And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity."

"I'm not pointing my finger. I'm holding out my hand. I lay it all on the line to see God save the ones I love." .... I call myself a true friend. Whether someone stays my friend or not. I loved them with the truth. I am held highly accountable for that. I may loose friends and even some family members.  But I have a friend I will never lose, Jesus. One day I will look Him in His eyes and hope to hear, "well done good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23.

On the hill of calvary my Savior bled for me. I praise God for what He's done. 

Luke 23:33," When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified Him along with the criminals, one on His right, the other on His left."

John 3:16-17, " For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." 

"WHOEVER" We are the whoever who believe.  But it just doesn't stop at believing. It's putting Jesus Christ in charge of our life and eternal destiny. Jesus Christ, savior, and Lord of our life. 

2 Corinthians 5:17-21...  Our sin was poured into Christ at his crucifixion. His righteousness is poured into us at our conversion.

 God offers to trade his righteousness for our sin. Something of immeasurable worth for something completely worthless. How grateful we should be for his kindness to us. 

The Holy Spirit gives us a new life and we are just not the same anymore. "The old has gone, and the new has come." ....  There should be evident change in our lives, Colossians 2:6-11.  

We are human and we do mess up. But we should be quick to repent to what breaks the heart of God. Jesus did not die on the cross just to bring us to heaven. But while we still have life, we are to represent what He's done in us while we are here. 

Galatians 5:22-23, tells us what the fruit of the Spirit looks like. I know now when I look back at my life, God was so good at sending people my way to show me what I was really hungry for. Nothing else will satisfy. 

May we never look at the cross without remembering what He's done. His wounds give us life.  REAL LIFE.

 I absolutely love this truth.

There is a sound I love to hear.

Worship: Reverence and adoration 

Praise: The expression of gratitude and respect.

Psalm 24: 9, " Lift up your heads, O you gates, lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

God's Holy presence among us.  There is something totally different with worshipping and praising with a church family, then sitting home alone. I mean you're not really alone. But there is just something very special.

 One of my devotionals read today, that there is truly a movement of God happening.  He's bringing people from a place of religion to relationship.

May or start with me and you. Let the light in so the King of Glory can shine through us. 

Open up, ancient gates. Open up, ancient doors.  The time is now.

Matthew 16: 18" On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."

All authority in heaven and on Earth has been given to Jesus Christ, Matthew 28:18. 

Colossians 2: 13-15 ... "He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us, He took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. This should excite us to the core! This is how He made a way. Nothing will change that no matter what things look like. 

 That's what I love about the sovereignty of God. Nothing surprises Him.  HIStory is written and finished. We only see to the corner. But God sees around the corner. 

 

God has given us free will. People wonder why God would allow the things that are happening?  But it's not God. It's the free will He gives each and every one of us.  We are in time. We don't know when the end will come, but it will. There will no longer be free will, Revelation 2:27. God's mighty hand will make all things come to an end. Right now he is very patient with each and every one of us. As The Bible says in John 6: 39, not willing to lose not one. Are you that one? Is your family member or friend that one? 

 Now is the time to be part of the command that Jesus gave to all of us who believe. "Go, make disciples of all"..., Matthew 28:18-20. 

No need to worry if God will make a way.  If you know the story, you know He did. Revelation 1:18" I am the Living One, I was dead, and behold I am alive forever and ever. And I hold the keys of death and Hades." Revelation 22:12 "Behold, I am coming soon!"

Praise You Lord Jesus. May we be obedient to Your call in our lives.
