More to come.. Passion

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=GrqaGl5MJ-U&si=KLY3cjvks6Jr4lfy

All of my hope, trust, and all my future is in Jesus Christ. Great things He has done in my life and I know He isn't finished with me yet.

Things haven't always turned out as I hoped and prayed for, but God is still faithful in His plan for me, for us.  His plan to grow us Spiritually. To see things as He wants us to see them. To make us more like Christ.

God plan is for all of us. Knowing Him more and more isn't through the easy things in life. It's through the trials. Yes, even in the suffering. This is where we either draw closer to Him, or we fall away because of not being acceptable to what He has allowed to come our way.

When you read in the Old Testament the books of the Prophets you will see how they suffered. When you read the new testament, the stories that were written from the apostles, you will see how they suffered. Scriptures about entering into suffering often portray God's presence and guidance amidst hardship. While suffering is not pleasant, it is presented as a part of life, a time for dependence on God, and an opportunity to grow in faith and character. Jesus himself entered into suffering, and His example encourages believers to find comfort and strength in God's love and promises during trials.

When we understand this is not our home. That we,  just like the Prophets and the apostles are vessels for the Holy Spirit to bring God's kingdom to earth and make more disciples.. Matthew 6:10....Matthew 28:19-20.. Mark 16:15..

No matter what battle we go through,

He promises, we are not alone.

Every victory, every battle won, there is still more to come. So while we are still here,  enjoy the more that is to come.....

Remembering, even the victory over death has been won. The believer never dies. We just close our eyes, take our last breath, and the next breath is in glory.

For Your Glory dear God I wright.

Need to be near. Jeremy Camp

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=EKyn1zBZNko&si=jSwdmIPifeWoZU_D

Isaiah 43: 18-19 “Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland."

This year has been a rough one for me. Hip replacement, knee replacement, and then in the hospital for 5 days with abscess on my intestines. I did come to the point where I questioned God, why, how long? I've felt discouraged and very tired and I hated it. But the great thing about not feeling guilty about that was, you read of others in the bible who did too. It doesn't mean you don't love Him, or trust Him, or hope in Him. In fact, with every question you're just getting closer to Him as He answers through His Word. Many get mad at God and turn away from Him in trials. Where does that get you? Only in deeper despair.  The more you seek Him in His word, the more you find Him.
I can honestly say that being in challenges like this really got me to see that I didn't need all the answers to my questions. I didn't need to be relieved of the pain, even though I wanted to and still do. I have certainly learned, and still learning that all I really need is to be near Him. To read of His promises to me and to hope in them. That in His time, I will see His clear answer for me.
I can see He's doing a new thing in me. I'm more and more in place of rest and acceptance. I may not like walking with a cane, but i'm walking. Hoping for that day I may be able to put it down. To be in my Spirit where He's taken me through this challenge I find I've got my joy back. I know He sees me. I know He hears my every prayer. So even in my OK, I just want to be near Him. He makes a way in the wilderness and beautiful streams in the wasteland. I now see it.
He is so good and worthy of all our praise.

Evermore. Christy Knockles

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=Ayh0PA-TapU&si=CUlgc-iFWibIUOlC

Jesus, He wants to be our enough. It's okay not to understand His ways. It's okay not to be okay at times. Oh, there's been plenty of times when I've had my pity party, and still do at times. Sometimes it just feels good to cry. But the best feeling is when His presence(Daddy God) comes rushing in.

He let's you know your right where He wants you to be. Yes, even if we don't like it.

Every mountain high, and every mountain low, He is still there with us.

These things that we go through in life that cause us pain become a testimony to help someone else. To glorify our God who gets us through each one in His time. We live in a broken world with broken people. There will be troubles, there will be pain,  sickness, death. Many things we don't like or understand,  John 16:33.

Isn't it good to know as we wait for the healing, the way through, the breakthrough, the peace that passes all understanding, He is right with us. There's no promise that is sweeter than that.

Personally for me, there has not been anything that I have gone through, and will go through that I won't draw even closer to Him. Abiding in His Word and listening to worship music. Oh the enemy tries to pull me away with questions. But my God takes every thought and question captive and makes it obedient to Him, 2 Corinthians 10:5.

If there's one thing I know for sure from the scriptures. Jesus did not want to go to that cross. But it was the will of His Father, and for our sake, He did it. Luke 22:42:"“Father, if You are willing, take this cup away from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”"

It's in His will that He desires us to be as

well. He desires to use us who follow Him

for His glory and story. It may take some time to get through the things that he allows to come our way. But when you hang on to Him, He will pull us through.

Let the trials bring us closer to His heart.  Rather than the enemy trying to pull us further away. Abiding in the truth of His word. There is no outcome that is greater, and no promise that is sweeter, then knowing He is with us evermore.

I don't know about you. But what I know and I read about in His Word. I can't wait to get a new body and be in His presence. Also to be with those who believed and had gone before me. What a reunion!!!! This is NOT MY HOME.

Worthy of my song. Phil Wickham

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=xC6YjpQSHBY&si=9kKjV1SBagUa3tEp

I'll never stop singing Your praise. You are so worthy.
This is not something that just comes natural. It's going through those things where He says, yes, no, or wait. It's loving Him all the way through. Where you don't see, or even know the end. But you learn to trust the God Who does and sing praises anyway. It sure makes each day more joyful to walk through with a smile on your face. I've experienced many things with Jesus that I have had questions to. It's okay. He can handle them. I have questioned him recently. On why I'm still walking with a walker after knee and hip surgery. " God it shouldn't take this long?" But He still tells me to wait. I've learned to wait with a smile that I can still walk and do things.
To wait on God does not come from any strength of our own. It's only by the power of the Holy Spirit. What a gift Jesus left us! Just another part of Him that is ALWAYS with us. There are many who believe in Jesus but don't understand the Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:8 ("you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you"), Romans 8:6 ("the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace"), and 2 Timothy 1:7 ("God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline"),
There is so much in the bible on the Holy Spirit. As far back as I can remember, I always believed in Jesus Christ. But the power of the Holy Spirit. That's a whole nother relationship. Ask Jesus for this part of Him. Your life will never be the same.
You will realize that if God says yes, no or wait, He is still worthy.
All glory to You Lord Jesus

Carry the world Meredith Andrews

https://youtube.com/watch?v=oGScgcZe_uw&si=Vl465yj2EhB9mMDh If Jesus can carry the whole world in His hands, He can carry anything we are facing. We just need to keep trusting, hoping and waiting on His timing. Because He is able. Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.... His power, His strength, us listening. I've been walking with Jesus for a long time and I am still learning. That is the joy of continuing to grow. There are situations in life that can have us very disappointed. Never loose hope, it means that we are being purified. One of the greatest stresses in life is the stress of waiting for God. But God has promised that our patience will be rewarded. Then share what God teaches in the waiting. Psalm 46:10He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; Personally, for me, it's been this recent surgery of knee replacement. I thought I graduated to the cane from the walker, but I almost fell in the kitchen. I took the warning and humbled myself and went back to the walker. I have to realize that this one isn't like the other one. This is the side that I had hip replacement 4 months ago. Not to mention foot surgery 2 years ago. I don't know what it is that you may be going through. God is never in a hurry. We are. But wait on Him. He is faithful. He is good. He is able to do great things. I've seen Him do it before, and I believe He will do it again. We just need to surrender, listen and wait. May He receive all the glory in all things. Kim D

King of Kings.

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=IVumVrkbq4s&si=GI87buNyMccC5lq8

If by the time you finish the book of John and your heart hasn't been grabbed by the Holy Spirit to believe in the "One" he's talking about.  Then you just read it  with your head and didn't open up your heart to receive what the living Word has to offer. How much proof do we need? I always tell people. Jesus was either a lunatic and a liar. Or He is Who He says He is. God in the flesh. Who would go through this suffering that He went through? All the way to the brutal crucifixion on the cross. People ask me,  "how do you know Jesus is the only way?".. Well first of all he said it. John 14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."... What other god that's some other religions serve died and rose again? The bible is filled with proof. It is the Living Word. Read it with your heart and not your head.
I love the this last verse in the book of John. John 21:25." Jesus did many other things as well.  If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written."
He is so worthy of all our praise!

Testify.. Need to Breath

 https://youtube.com/watch?v=CDcYsyx2mCg&si=SaI1wFg8viTHX7kO

Open the door of your heart. Get to know, really know our Creator. Don't be a christian just by name. Be one who values your salvation. Be the one who overcomes all that satan wants to destroy you with. We don't need drugs, or alcohol, or a boyfriend or a girlfriend, or always feeling like we need to get away. We need intimacy with Jesus. Start with Him first and then watch those things fade away because He satisfies. Jesus talks a lot about being an overcomer and rewards in the book of Revelation. The Lord repeatedly promises rewards to those who are conquerors, to those who prove faithful to Him. Rev 2:17 " He who has an ear. Let him hear what the spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden mana." Don't you want that? Revelation. 2:7,11,17, and more areas, John 14:21 " The one who has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. And the one who loves me will be loved by my father. I also will love him and will reveal myself to him". Did you get that? Obedience is a part of knowing Him more. Personally, I can't get enough. I love seeking Him in His word daily. And if one of those rewards is for God to show himself more to me, than that's the first thing I want. The bible tells us that those who seek Him find Him. He stands at the door of our hearts and knocks. I hear that knock every morning. Can't wait to sit with Him.
Lord God, may our hearts always hunger for more of You
