Somewhere a Place for us... Barbara Streisand

Hope you enjoy this video and her performance as much as I did !!!!! Great video, it will give you goose bumps… Look at the shadow she cast at the end, could it be a coincidence? All-time Great artist, and actress…

God is amazing on how He can lead me to a song, and fire me all up inside to write about it, when I was searching for a totally different song. I even asked Him, “are You sure God?” I love when He does that to me. I just can’t stop smiling. It’s like I’m sitting on His lap at the computer while He types away.

Yes, you saw the artist right…. I had a Barbara Streisand kind of morning… Absolutely LOVE her voice, and these words are absolutely something to write about. Look at it from a heavenly point of view. Somewhere a place for us for those who believe and put all their faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

“There’s a place for us, somewhere a place for us. Peace and quiet and open air waits for us somewhere.” John 14: 1-4 “My Father’s house has many rooms……I am going there to prepare a place for you”

Jesus continues to tell His disciples “You know the way to the place I am going.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord we don’t know where You are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

So you see, you can take my hand, read all my devotionals or any other inspiring writings. You can even read the entire bible, but if it doesn’t bring your heart to real life, total surrender, a change in you, you’re only half way there. There will be a time that you need to make a personal decision to take the nail pierced hands to enter into this place that Jesus has prepared for us someday when we take our last breath.

To find a new way of living and forgiving this side of heaven, takes having a relationship with the One they call Teacher….
 John 13:13-17
“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.” What an example our Lord set for us. Who would ever think a King would come to serve. To leave His throne, His glorious place in Heaven, to show us how to serve, how to LOVE one another.

Well I would say that we are all failing in the example that Jesus was to us.  We all fall short of God’s standards of living. That’s why Jesus said in John 8:7 “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone”…. I don’t know about you, but that scripture hits me every time I want to point my finger, or say something that may not be nice. I could actually feel Jesus looking right at me. This world, and the way it is, is no one’s fault but our own.

Someday I know I will see the place where there will be nothing but time to spare, time together, time to care. There will be no more hatred for a person of a different color or a different nationality. No more wars. No more being mad because a person of a different color or nationality got a grant to go to school and you didn’t. The place that I am going is far better that any grant or degree can take a person. No more forgiveness will be needed, because everyone who is there has been forgiven already. We who reached out and took the Hand of the “ONE” who saves, passed the course of this world. We graduate and move on to the final destination.

“There’s a time for us, someday a time for us. Time together with time to spare.”
If you have not made this decision yet, your time is NOW!

P.S Hey kids, I want this played at my celebration for life, when I’m called home. Or you both can sing it. He gifted you both with beautiful voices JJJ
