When Jesus comes, fear has no place. John 4: 18-19.
It's really hard to explain what the presence of Jesus consuming every part of you does. It's like how a fire consumes a burning building. Jesus desires to consume every part of our being. One thing I can tell you, it is a learning process that doesn't come easy. God is waiting on you, as much as you are waiting on Him. Letting go of control of anything is not easy. But it shows God you trust Him with your life.
Worship Him in all your questions. Worship with the cross you've been given to glorify Him with. Worship takes your focus off your pain and suffering. Psalm 23: 4, It lifts you out of that shadow of the valley of death. Even though sometimes you feel like your dying. It's like a cloud that covers the sun. It will pass over, and the sun will shine again.
Every time I seek Jesus in the shadow of my anguish, I become more and more undone. Philippians 4: 7, He overwhelms me with a peace that passes anything I can describe. I become wordless, but I can't stay quiet about it. It's just something you want to share with others who are hurting. Sooner or later we will all go through something that is completely overwhelming. More than we can stand. That's when Jesus comes and wants to show us what only He can do. 2 Corinthians 12: 9, Because it's in our weakness that He is strong. The hardest thing I believe to learn in life is letting go and trusting God. There isn't any hurt in life, that in time, and relentlessly pursuing after Jesus, He will overwhelm you with that peace.
Life is truly a precious gift. Every day He gives us to enjoy, but also with His kingdom purposes. His purposes go far beyond the here and now. They have eternal purposes. We are passing through, and I want to tell as many as I can about the greatest love I've ever known. Jesus doesn't care where you've been, or what you've done. He died for all of us. We don't have to clean up before we come to Him, He just wants us to come. All that had to be done for our sins, He took to the cross. Can you even fathom a love like that. I still can't, but I am relentlessly pursuing Him.
When Jesus comes, you may be wordless, but you can't stay quiet.
