The Greatness of our God......Hillsong

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7mXPv8WMJI

Oh I just love these lyrics, because it is so true..... "I spend my life to know, and I'm far from close to all You are."  Philippians 3: 7-8,.... "I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord".....

1 Thessalonians 5:18, ..... "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." This is a long learning lesson in life. I don't give thanks for the hard times, but I thank God for His constant presence. I love Him for Who He is. He's already done everything He can do for me. He sent His Son to die for my sins. Those of us who believe this truth, and invite Him in to be Lord of your life, will have everlasting life.

This is one of the greatest benefits of understanding hard times..... James 1: 2-4, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." Not easy as you're going through it, but His presence and the understanding He gives you, makes it well with my soul.

We are all in different places in our walk with Jesus. I will never forget where I came from, and how many hard times it took me to get where I am, and He still isn't done with me. That's why I'm still here. I didn't just accept the hard times right away. I'm sure most of us shook our fist at God more than once. But I never stopped believing in Who He is. I clung to the truth to know Him more. He has proven to be greater, and bigger than anything I will face this side of heaven.

Like Paul says, Philippians 3:12, "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me." He truly gives us grace to see beyond the moment here. To believe that there is nothing to fear. When the Living word tells me that He is always with me, I believe it with all my heart, mind, and driven deep into my soul.

I know as long as I am here, I'll spend my life to know the greatness of my God.
