Beneath the waters.. Hillsong

 https://youtu.be/mTwA3NLEjY4

Are you determined to have your own way in living for God? We will never be free from this trap until we are brought into the experience of the baptism of “the Holy Spirit and fire” (Matthew 3:11). Stubbornness and self-will will always stab Jesus Christ. It may hurt no one else, but it wounds His Spirit... Wow,  When I read this this morning, I thought of so many people who have been baptized. But are they truly in love and commited to Jesus Christ.  Baptism is a symbolic commitment. It's being down with your old life, and up with a new one. Similar to wearing a wedding band and being committed to one. But we see today that people who are married and wear a wedding band does not necessarily mean they are committed to that 1.  They cheat on their spouse and make excuses for it. Same today when people are baptized, they don't live a life committed to the "ONE.".  Are we making excuses for cheating on God? Do other things come before Him? This would make me question. Did I really receive the Holy spirit? " Thou shalt have no other god before me."....  What gets most of our time?
 For your glory Lord
