I remember the other day wanting to go pick up a meal for dinner. As I was walking in to make my order. I smelled such an awesome aroma from across the street. That smell attracted me to change my mind and see what they had. Isn't that how we should be as followers of Christ. Not look or act like the world, which is becoming so unattractive and selfish. But be that one that others might be attracted to because they wonder what is so different.
Holy Spirit, help us to imitate our Father today and everyday as we spend time with You daily. Magnify the Words of life that change us so we can leave a legacy for You. Ephesians5:1-2... "a sweet smelling aroma."
The bible, the written Living Word of God is so beautiful. But it's just words on a page if you are not born again. John 3:3, Jesus said we must be born again. Why was that so important to Him? John 14: 26-27, " The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you ALL THINGS and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace, I leave you.".... It's clear in this scripture, that the only ONE who makes things clear as we walk this world in the peace that passes all understanding is the Holy Spirit. There will be trouble in this world and it will only keep getting worse. How will we be able to understand anything if a Holy Spirit isn't teaching us everything? We won't, unless He lives within us, lighting everything up. "No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.".. The kingdom is within us, and it's peaceful. It's very clear.
