Lift your eyes to Him, that is where your hope is! I bow before all Jesus is to me!

Being a Christian is an awesome journey. Praying the prayer to be more like Jesus, love like Jesus, and live a life that will bring Him glory, is a prayer I will never stop praying, and I will never regret it! It is a prayer that brings you on many different journeys with Him. So if you’re bored, something is wrong! His character never changes, but if you’re willing, yours will.

When I look back on my prayer life, I see how much it changed. The focus of all my problems, wants, hurts,  poor me, me, me, went to my eyes focusing only on the cross and my Savior. He didn't think of Himself, but thought and prayed for me and you. The sinners that we are, and He died for us anyway.

You see, if you want to love like Jesus, look more like Jesus, YOU WILL have to drink from the same cup of suffering, Matthew 20:22 and Philippians 3: 10. I believe when I hurt, Jesus hurts. When I cry, He cries, John 11: 33-35. You will still hurt and cry, but it becomes more for the lost ones. You will never make them understand or see things the way you do. That is the job of the Holy Spirit to break them. Our job is to rest in Jesus, Matthew 11: 28-30. Trust in Jesus,Proverbs 3: 5-6. Never cease praying, Luke 18:1, and never give up hope, Corinthians 13: 7 and Romans 12: 12.

As you walk this walk with Jesus, and Keep your eyes on Him and the cross of suffering, your words and thoughts become the same as His. You become "one" with Him through the power of the Holy Spirits growth in you. Complaining, bitterness, and anger begin to subside. You will begin to say on your cross of suffering what Jesus said, and you will really begin to understand it, "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do" Luke 23: 34.

That is where I believe God wants to bring us. Standing upon that Solid Rock!

Following Jesus has never been easy. In fact, without the grace of God, it's straight out impossible! Didn't Jesus make that painfully obvious?

This quote is from a little black book called "Living Alive" .......... "His way of being raised up was by making Himself low. His path of honor was by letting Himself be disgraced and humiliated. His march of life was the road to His death."

Matthew 7: 13-14 No wonder Jesus said the way to life is narrow and few will find it.
My choice is to continue walking this road with this Magnificent God! There is no other way for me. If I had the chance to live life over again, I wouldn't change a thing except surrendering my life, and my ways allot sooner.
