The Little Girl

What a tear jerker, but unfortunately in life so true with some children.

Psalm 127: 3-5, "children a reward from [Him]..."

Or, to quote the late Whitney Houston, "Teach [children] well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they process inside...” Some parents treat their children like they don’t exist, or as if they are a nuisance, or they don’t even want them anymore.

I believe we are held highly accountable for how we treat our children, because God values them so highly. Listen to what He says in His word to us in Matthew 18: 5-6, “But if anyone causes one of these little ones... to [sin], it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

That speaks to my heart like this song portrays. He will, in some circumstances, take you out before anymore damage is done to His little ones. I know not all circumstances are that way. Like I said before, evil choices are chosen by evil people who have been given free will by a loving God. They choose to be controlled by the father of lies, following the flesh rather than our loving God.
John 8: 42-44, “You belong to your father the devil, and you want to carry out your fathers desires.” That answers a lot of my questions. I hope it helps you.

God has a purpose for everything that we will never fully comprehend,  “For [his] thoughts are not [our] thoughts...” (Isaiah 55: 8-9).

A family without God can never experience the spiritual bond He brings to relationships.  “Unless the Lord builds the house, it’s builders labor in vain.”

The scripture says in John 14:18, “I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you.” We are all orphans without Jesus. He wants to adopt us into His family. He is no longer on the cross. He is VERY MUCH ALIVE!  “ I was dead, and behold I am alive forever and ever!” (Revelations 1:18).

He wants to make our hearts His dwelling place.

Grace and peace to you
Kim
