"Every time I breathe"

Can you recall the many times you’ve seen God work in your life? Is He in your life at all?

Good, and bad, I know I have, and I am so in love with Him.

After knowing One so Great, and where I was without Him, I can’t respond to Him in any way that’s less than all I have to give. We should love Him, not with what we say, but every day, in the way our lives are lived.
God’s word is meant to change us to be more Christ like.. James 1 :22.. “Do not merely listen to the word, do what it says.

When we just start out on this walk with Jesus, it’s like a baby being bottle fed, depending on someone. But there is a time to grow up, and eat food on our own… 2 Peter 1:5-9… Growing in our Christian character is a heart attitude of wanting to know God better. A lot of people say they don’t go to church, they don’t read the bible, but they pray. My question to them is, “Who are you talking to, and who are you listening to then?”If we don’t know the word of God, or are at least making an effort, it just makes me wonder.

Developing perseverance, goodness, knowledge, self control, love, kindness, all doesn’t come automatically. God empowers us, but it is our responsibility to choose to grow. If our lives remain unchanged, we don’t truly believe the truths we claim to believe. You can’t know the truth of God, if you’re not in relationship with Jesus, and a relationship is spending time with someone. Getting to know them. Not a prayer thrown up His way. That’s a one way relationship. A lot of people don’t really want to know more of God, because they don’t want to change.

I always hope when people look at me, they see the change. Most people come to Christ because of a Christian they know. Some people don’t come to Christ  because of the Christian they know. Which one are you? Start with the face in the mirror…James 1:23

Think about all God is to you. Where you were without Him, and where you are now with Him. Or have you ever even tried to get to know Him? Are you having a one way conversation?

James 4:8… Come near to God, and He will come near to you…   “Every time you breath, feel Him a little closer”

Grace and peace to you
Kim
