"Rest"..... He's got you covered...

Are you weary in well doing? Listen to what this song says, and what the bible says. Galatians 6:9 “ Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Yes it’s hard, and discouraging to continue to do right and receive no words of thanks, or see any results in a situation, or person, or people that God has placed in your life for a reason, a purpose. The purpose is for you, to shine through it all, become stronger, and closer to God.

No one experienced hurt, pain, rejection, insults, like our Lord Jesus. And in NO WAY did He deserve it. All He ever came to do, was to love, and show us love. Even though we didn’t deserve His love, and kindness, He did it anyway.

I know at times we all don’t feel we should be treated the way we are. But it happens, because people are who they are. You keep being, the person God is developing.

Does everyday seem harder than the last one? Do you feel weary in well doing, and your prayers sound like a rerun? You feel like life isn’t treating you fair. You feel like you’re being, and doing everything God wants you to. Your praying for deliverance, something just has to change. He is changing “YOU” Don’t let the constant ache wear out your faith.

I pray you see it as the deliverance is being done “in you.” By developing you to become more Christ like. To depend, and lean on Him for strength. Matthew 11:28, Jesus tells us “Come to me, all you who are weary, and burdened, and I will give you rest.”  But we have to… 1 Peter 5:6-11 “Cast all your anxiety on Him…Resist him, standing firm in faith….after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you, AND MAKE YOU STRONG, firm, and steadfast.”

Don’t expect anything, from anyone else but God. The things, and people, you’re dealing with may not change. God is changing you, (strong, firm, steadfast).

As Jesus was dying on the cross, He said “It is finished.” He glorified His Father in His life, and death. As a follower of Christ, we can’t expect any different.

Relationships, and people we encounter can be hurtful, and hard to deal with. But “be still”, and know that God is God. He has it all under control. He promises to give you rest. Not by being delivered from anything, but by developing YOU through it all.

You have to let it go, and live again. He will show you how. Go to Him, His arms are ALWAYS open.

Grace and peace to you
Kim
