"Born Again" John 3:3-7

To me, this message in the bible is the most important message to ask God for understanding before we can say we are a follower of Jesus, (Christian), or just believe in Jesus.

So many people call themselves Christians, but Jesus Himself said in His word.. John 3:3-7 “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless He is “Born Again” To live by the gift of the Holy Spirit, not the flesh. Colossians 3:2-3 “For you died, and your new life is now hidden with Christ, in God.”

I love what baptism symbolizes. You are down with you old life, and up with a new life. We receive the power of the Holy Spirit, to guild us through the rest of our life, when you ask Jesus to make your heart His home, and take over. Let Him take the driver’s seat of your life.

I was baptized as an infant (sprinkled with water), but of course I had no understanding of it. Baptism doesn’t bring salvation. It is a step of obedience, in following what Jesus did.

When we read the bible, going to church, and fellowship with other believers, and begin to understand this life is “not” our own. It was “Bought with a price”, and Jesus paid that price for our sins so we didn’t have to. So we are really giving Him back, what belongs to Him anyway… Jeremiah 10:23… The bible says that if you asked Jesus into your heart, and live by faith, it is no longer your life.

I don’t ever want to go back to the old me. It was such a defeated life. Living for myself. All the things I thought was good for me. My heart always easily hurt. Always looking at the worst of things in my trials. I know now His plans were never to harm me, but bring me to a better place with Him… Jeremiah 29: 11-14.

Now I wake up and ask God to use me for His Glory. To guild me by His Spirit, and help me to not walk in the flesh. It is the most important thing we could do each day, to live a victorious day.

So if you’re tired, and the days feel like they are always weighing you down, operate in His strength (Spirit) not yours (Flesh).

Let Jesus live in you, and through you, “Daily” and you will feel like… “Your born again, feel like you’re living, for the very first time”…..
