Nothing Compares... Isaiah 40

If you want more of everything else, you’ll have less of God. Nothing compares to Him.
Philippians 2:21… “For everyone looks to his own interest, Not those of Jesus Christ” I was one of those who knew of God when I was growing up. I had a good sense of right and wrong. I went to church, but not on a regular basis. I thank God for a mom and dad, who did the best they could, to teach, and lead me in the right direction. I was so occupied with my own needs and wants, to even take the time to think about what pleases God’s heart. As I got older, I knew I needed this love relationship with the Savior, who was trying to save me from wasting any more time on the life I thought was going so fine. Nothing compares to the greatness of knowing Him.

We have to change our way of thinking, and our desires to be more like Jesus. We can only do this with the help of the Holy Spirit, and the influence of faithful Christians…. Philippians 1:19….

What can compare to the love described in Philippians 2:6-8… He humbled Himself, and became obedient to the death on the cross. For you, for me, for the sins of the world.

What could compare to the creator described in Isaiah 40:25-31….

I don’t care how strong we think we are. We will get tired at times, but God’s power, and strength never end. 2 Corinthians 12:9for my power is made perfect in weakness” Your weakest moment, will become you strongest, when you say, “Jesus, I surrender everything to you. I trust you with this life you’ve given me. I’m yours”

He is never too tired, or busy to hear our prayers for help. He will renew our strength.
Isaiah 40:25… “To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One…

Grace and peace to you
Kim
